It was an enjoyable dinner at Sakura taste-wise. The indoor modern design is a total contrast to the outlook of the old building in the end of the street. Friyay- we had time for a long meal and tasted varieties of items. Bar table for omakase customers. Assorted and fresh green- red leave, romaine, endive. The pork did not stand out with minimal seasoning and when compared to the hot meat dishes.
Shokuji- grilled cod fish $330
The best of the meal- crispy skin, flaky and somewhat sweet fillet, served with miso soup.
Skewer- grilled ox tongue with pomelo $60
Personally prefer a tenderer skewer but my friend like it.
Angus rib eye- $330/ 150g

The grilled cod fish shokuji is a must-try if you are not going for omakase.
