The atmosphere of this restaurant is really unique. It's an old school theme. You can tell the owner has put in alot of thoughts to this restaurant. They only open until 1800 at this moment, and it was quite easy to find their location. We ordered taiwan style fried chicken and "lu rou fan". Every dish comes with rice, 2 small dishes and a drink. You can pay extra for special drinks such as bubble tea. The fried chicken had the smell of taiwan, which i love!! It tastes just like the fried chicken in taipei! Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The little dishes are small home made veggies. I also like how they use brown rice, so the meal seems more healthy! The other dish we had was "lu rou fan", the rice had alot of the braised pork sauce on it. It tasted just right! It also came with a dish of braised tofu and chicken. The chicken wings has been braised perfectly that the bones would fall off once you put in your mouth. I like the idea of the homemade dishes. The drinks are also very attractive. They are served in science beakers. As I love taiwanese fruit tea, I had to give it a try. It is not as good as what i've had in taipei, but not bad. The tea is full of different kinds of fruits. It's sweet but has a little sour taste to it. The other drink we had was the brown sugar milk tea. They give little brown sugar jellys on the side, those tasted really good. A little bit chewy, something to bite on while drinking. The milktea was not too sweet, just right.
