星期日好去處, 除了去大埔熟食市場食野及買有機菜外, 就是去食, 今次食brunch, 價錢是高一些, 不過真的物有所值。先來任食龍蝦, 蝦味濃郁, 而且經常添加, 絕不會要客人等候, Parma Ham 及莎樂美腸, 也很精彩。五款芝士, 濃淡各異, 美味。Grissini, 秘製麵包, 也是餐廳之名字, 當然不要浪費, 我倆也食晒那三條, 巳半飽了。至於, 意式甜品,Tiramisu, 真無得頂。回味中…………………

我到達時,兩位朋友已經來了,還正在吃這裡的名物Grissini,我當然也不執輸,坐下便馬上搣一點來食。仍是熱暖的Grissini麵包條,長長的有如大筷子,鬆脆又有韌度,帶有芝士香,確是很出色。還要一讚的是服務生會不斷的Refill,檯面上總會有新鮮熱暖的Grissini,讓大家吃過夠。

既然都是Share食,那就散叫好了,頭盤主菜意大利飯甜品各有一些,我個人已經很滿足。所要的頭盤係Burrata Cheese,外層柔軟,中心則是香滑,滲出點點芝士香,不差,但跟早前在Bettys Kitschen吃到的,仍是稍遜一點。

來到意大利餐廳,自不然選了一客蘑菇意大利飯。圓圓的飯粒,味道對辦,濕潤亦煙韌,不過個人覺得咬口不足,是要扣分的地方。什菇反而爽口好吃。

院長揀既係Gnudi,睇外表是幾正宗的。吃一口,是帶有淡淡的芝士香,菠菜茸亦打得幼細,入口微微的煙韌。墊底有少許鮮蕃茄醬調味,而如果醬汁可以多一點,整體效果必有提升。

還要了西班牙的豬排,肉質鬆化不韌,瘦中帶點肥,不過要挑剔的是肉味有欠濃香,跟我預期之中的,尚有出入。

問服務生拿個甜品餐牌睇吓,六款甜品之中我們選了五樣,服務生也有少少驚訝,要再Double Confirm。首先上場的是Zuppa Inglese,這味據說是Tiramisu前身的甜品,有著開心果的香味,不過底下一層的莓醬是有點兒酸,相信也是Herbert不喜歡的原因。

Amalfi Lemon,質地是討好的,但是味道較為溫和,就是欠缺了檸檬的清新感覺,旁邊的那小球雪葩,更是大家你推我讓,大概可知其水準了。

另一客就是心太軟加朱古力布丁的組合。那小個的心太軟,是迷你板本,完全滿足不了甜魔,加之流心程度極差,可以說是沒有流心的,所以並不合格。朱古力布丁除了柔軟,未見驚喜。

沙巴翁以玻璃杯子盛著,賣相吸引。店方下了Marsala甜酒,令本身質感幾好的出品充滿酒味,而那款酒味,很奇怪,是有如花雕的味道,我們四人均不太喜歡,吃剩了。

最後,是大家熟悉的Tiramisu,質感濕潤,滲出咖啡和酒香,岩胃口。這,也是一致認為全晚做得最好的一款甜品

感覺上,食物是中上(包括Petit Fours),仍可以更好的。

Grissini係我最喜愛嘅意大利餐。差不多一個月我都會去兩三次,雖然我覺得佢哋嘅麵食唔係最好,但整體上每次去都食得開心舒服。尤其鍾意佢哋嘅sunday brunch. 三文魚唔係特別靚,Parma ham食得出係靚嘢,意大利蜜瓜超級無敵甜。水牛芝士完全無味~無奶味無芝士味!蛋好濃蛋香,我食咗三件。我唔食牛,朋友話薄牛肉好正。海鮮沙律正常。即煮意粉普通,不過黑松露飯就好好味,好多黑松露,味道超香,飯creamy又唔太軟,勁正!焗海鮮千層麵超多芝士,好有水準!烤雜菜真係一流,全部美味!芝士六七種,味道太勁我頂唔順。是日係南瓜湯,唔會太甜,南瓜同湯底加埋有高級嘅香味,非常好飲!蕃茄龍蝦入味多肉,青囗大粒啖啖肉。鱸魚有少許fishy,羊軟熟入味,豬睇落無味食落先知非同凡響,煮得好過好多餐廳!甜品方面,tiramisu最好食,唔太甜,蛋糕軟cream又多。apple tart出乎意料好味,加有雲呢拿小粒粒嘅雪糕真係極品!個brunch食得舒服開心。

一系列的西意式前吃的水準仍是一貫的好 ---- 水牛芝士及蕃茄片皆夠厚身,前者奶脂味足,後者則一咬下甜汁流入口腔;巴馬火腿片鹹度適中又夠油潤,脂肪分佈平均得有點像雲石形狀,入口軟綿;蛋批spanish tortilla蛋香十足不死實,同是出色之作(雖然比起小弟奉之為最好的Toscana出品,還差少許)....

主食有好幾道可以挑選,最受歡迎當數加了蕃茄及白酒入去煑的波士頓龍蝦。啖啖肉的又爽又鮮甜,茄味濃郁。可以任食之,實在是回本之作

雖已很飽,但放點甜食入肚還是少不免的。Tiramisu很夠軟綿酒味足;平常較少遇過的經典甜食Zuppe Inglese則香滑甜美。吉士忌亷、朱古力慕絲及sponge cake三者層層相間,混合吃起來既帶甘苦又感軟滑細膩。愛吃甜的,必然會為之傾倒....

第一次到Grissini, 感覺好似去左意大利, 不過落地玻璃窗要望住一個好光的地盤, 同埋d吊擘, 胃口大受影響之餘, 心情都差左d.由於食飽就要趕住去會展睇show, 所以個dinner serve得好快, 我地都好快手就食完, 不過食唔飽, 唯有食多兩條好出名的麵包啦原因係得3樣野食, 第一個係意大利cheese, 第二個食牛仔肉, last就係tiramisu, 兩個字--簡單!好唔好食呢? 個cheese就麻麻地, 特別係個白色的皮, 完全無味牛仔肉就煮得好好, 因為係用slow cooked, 配滑滑薯蓉而最有期望的士多啤梨tiramisu, 就真係好普通, 覺得唔夠濃味驚喜就係最後3粒心型的朱古力, 甜到入心最後係餐飲兩杯...如果唔係因為慶祝情人節, 真係好豪架喎!

Bread
Grissini: hot and fresh, with extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar, was awesome. Baring in mind that I should save room for the actual buffet I still finished 2 whole sticks. They’re just too damn delicious. (That’s their strategy isn’t it? Make heavenly grissinis, stuff you full of them, so you eat less at the buffet?
)
Grape Foccacia & Cherry Tomato Foccacia: both fresh from the oven (at least they're fresh from the oven when I got them. Of course they're not so fresh an hour later.) I love carbs.


Antipasti
There’s seafood salad (scallops, cherry tomatoes, squid, shrimp, etc. Oily but goood), frittata (loved it! Had a second helping), beef carpaccio (I hadn’t had this before since I don’t really eat beef so I can’t compare. But it’s soft and meaty and I suppose it's good), terrine (the terrine itself was fine but the piece of bread underneath tasted like it’s been sitting on the buffet table for a long time), parma ham with melon (ham’s aged to perfection, soft and not overly salty), salami, tuna, smoked salmon, marinated veggies (bell peppers, asparagus, eggplants, and pumpkin. they were seriously good).

Cheese
They had 5 different kinds of hard & soft cheese. I’m never good with cheese names but I tried all 5 of them. Personally I loved the hard one with a nutty and salty flavor. Condiments include honey, marmalade, walnuts, jam, etc. I could finish the whole block if I had more than 2.5 hours you know.

Hot Dishes
There’s pork chop (very moist and tender), sirloin steak & some other beef cuts, sea bass, lobster (didn’t eat this cause I had rashes that day
), mussels in tomato sauce, and pumpkin soup.

Pasta
There’s a made to order pasta station where two chefs cook the pasta of your choice right in front of you. You get to choose from a variety of pasta: fettuccine, spaghetti, linguine, angel hair, etc. Condiments include tomatoes, mushrooms, sausage, basil, grated parmesan, etc. Sauces include anchovy tomato and Bolognese. I had a fettuccine with mushrooms in the anchovy tomato sauce. Pasta was al dente but I found the sauce quite salty; also, the taste of basil was overpowering since the chef added a lottt of it. My grandma had spaghetti Bolognese and she said hers tasted fine.

There’s also risotto in truffle cream sauce (I like my risotto firm and this one was slightly on the tender side. My grandma loved it though as she prefers creamy risottos. Nonetheless, this was still a good risotto. The truffle cream sauce was flavorful and aromatic.) There’s also lasagna. (The noodles are a bit on the tender side. But it’s hot and fresh. They put out a new batch every 30 mins or so, even when there’s still a lot of lasagna left. This ensures top quality but seems a bit wasteful...=/)

Desserts (my main course bwhaha)
There’s tiramisu (taste of wine was strong and I liked it, but I think if they added more lady fingers it’d be better), cherries with mascarpone (my fav. dessert of the day), fruit tart, apple tart, crème caramel (this one’s a miss), pecan ricotta pie (this one’s a miss too), cream puffs, millefuille (this was gooood. Def. a hit.), fruits like watermelon (sweet & juicy), honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberries (sweet & tart. Awesome with whipped cream!), chocolate gelato (super rich & chocolatey), vanilla gelato (made with real vanilla beans. You can actually see the little black dots).

Super stuffed. Super satisfied. I love good Italian food.

是日點了一客午市套餐,包括: Seafood Salad with Cherry Tomato, Arugula and Sorrento’s Lemon; Roasted Salmon Fillet with Dill and Honey Crust, Fennel Salad and Mashed Potatoes; Madagascar Vanilla Scented Panna Cotta with Fresh Yellow Peach Coulis,餐飲方面則點了一杯Hot Chocolate($345)。

Seafood Salad with Cherry Tomato, Arugula and Sorrento’s Lemon — 一客份量十足的海鮮沙律,材料豐富食味鮮甜。鱸魚、魷魚、帶子和蝦的賣點是原味和新鮮,那種優質海鮮所帶的海洋氣息和清甜,不用太花巧的烹調,已叫人食指大動。另外,沙律內的櫻桃蕃茄,既多汁又酸中帶甜,非常醒胃。芝麻菜的獨特香味也很突出,吃起來不覺苦澀,唯獨不太察覺Sorrento特產檸檬的清香。

Roasted Salmon Fillet with Dill and Honey Crust, Fennel Salad and Mashed Potatoes — 三文魚柳的味道很鮮甜味美,吃得出是優質食材,每切一刀都有豐富的魚汁滲出。由於魚的表面上灑了許多刁草,很能去腥添香。個人不太喜歡以茴香作伴碟菜,其橫切片外型像洋蔥,但質感有點硬,而八角的氣味又太強。另一伴碟菜薯蓉,則相對較好味,只不過薯蓉內放了太多檸檬汁,以致太酸。

Madagascar Vanilla Scented Panna Cotta with Fresh Yellow Peach Coulis — Panna Cotta有濃淡適宜的奶油香味,味道不會太甜。經嘴嚼後固體奶凍化為質感有點稠的奶香汁液,潤澤了舌頭上的每顆味蕾。另外,那由煮爛的黃桃所做成的濃稠醬汁,顏色橘紅,映襯白色的奶凍最為吸引。難得的是此醬汁清香撲鼻,使整個甜點的食味不覺單調。值得一讚的是廚師在裝飾奶凍時所花的心思,有美不勝收的感覺。

Hot Chocolate — 店方竟然很有心思地,在簡簡單單的一杯熱朱古力飲品上下功夫。飲品的表面上有心型拉花,也灑了一抹朱古力粉,是一杯很討人歡心的飲品。朱古力喝起來頗覺香滑,味道不會太甜。研究指出朱古力中的可可,能刺激身體製造血清素,促進腦部釋放大量「安多酚」;又含苯乙氨酸(Phenylethylamine),能令腦部製造戀愛的感覺。這杯如此出色的飲品,教我如何不愛它。

Grissini無論在前菜、主菜、甜品以至餐飲方面,都有出色表現,而且環境舒適景致迷人,更難得的是部份侍者對餐廳的食物,無論用料、煮法和wine pairing,都有相當認識,能為客人提供有用的餐飲參考,是一家很值得向大家推介的意大利餐廳。

Only one thing to say about the pasta - they are not al dente.I also hope Grissini can bring in genuine beef from Toscana and serve real Bistecca alla Fiorentina, not immitation using US or Australian beef. Chef: Take a look at Buca Lapi and Cosimio de Medici.

It was an evening with black rainstorm warning hoisted, but the restaurant was still packed with diners. I went there for business dinner so could not take any photos. We have got a window and the harbour view was marvellous.1. Drinks: red wine + sparkling water 2. Bread: unlimited refilled grissini with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, no complaints at all! 3. 1. Drinks: red wine + sparkling water
2. Bread: unlimited refilled grissini with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, no complaints at all!
3. Appetizer: scallop with beetroot and salad, scallop was OK but salad was a bit salty
4. First main course: eggplant lasagna, pasta is renowed at Grissini, but quite full after finishing the dish
5. Second main course: beef sirlion, I ordered medium rare but it turned out to be at least medium, veggie was salty
6. Dessert: affogato, pistachio icecream + espresso, specially ordered as it was not in the menu, tried that once during lunch, thanks to the waiter for asking the chef
7. Coffee: latte, tasted OK but not hot enough
(around $1000 from 3-7)

My boss and other business partners ordered set meal featuring summer truffle ($750/person). Personally speaking, not as nice as mine. (same comment from my boss).

I would still recommend trying the a-la-carte rather than a set meal, cos there are more choices and there are always surprises.

補回一頓生日飯的食評.O.R. 有很多人都讚這裡的 grissini 是全香港最好吃的, 於是兩個貪吃的人便襯著生日來試吃, 順道慶祝 餐廳的環境很優美, 極暗的燈光襯托出落地玻璃窗外的維港夜景更亮麗~ 被安排坐於窗旁位置, 主要的光源就是檯上的燭光, 氣氛很浪漫, 但要拍食物的相片卻相對困難... 點菜後不久侍應生已經送上一梱 grissini, 分別有黑醋, 橄欖油和牛油. wow~ 觸手還是熱烘烘的, 忙不迭撕開一小件, 甚麼都沒有點便放進口品嚐, 真的很鬆脆, 外面脆皮, 裡面鬆軟, 好香的芝士味, 不用多久一梱 grissini 已經被吃掉一大半... 突然侍應生又手執另一梱新鮮的 grissini 過來, 把原來的換掉, O.. 巴馬火腿配蜜瓜 - 火腿不過鹹, 配鮮甜的蜜瓜, 味道唔錯~
燒烤雜菜 - 燒烤不同的蔬菜, 分別有露荀, 番茄, 菌類和瓜類, 味道清甜, 因為用燒烤的, 油份很少, 好健康!!
雜菜湯 - 材料好足, 湯的番茄味亦夠香, OK.
煎鱸魚配蕃茄醬汁 - 很普通的西式魚料理, 而且番茄汁好濃, 吃不到魚的鮮味, 不太滿意...
豬肉腸長通粉 - 不太特別, 祇能給合格評分...
生日甜品併盤 - 有 tiramisu, 味道OK; 香濃巧克力雪糕, 呢個味道唔錯; 果撻, 水準普通; 另外還有兩款甜品, 味道一般... 可能現在香港太易吃到水準以上的蛋糕甜品, 所以要在甜品上突圍並不容易...
坦白說隨了grissini外, 其他的料理沒有太大驚喜

- 紅酒燴牛面頰/Ca’marcanda(Gaja) Magarl 2005: 看似平平無奇的菜式,入口竟有驚喜! 肉質香鬆軟,稔而不失口感,又充滿骨膠原. 紅酒方面可說是意大利名牌,medium body帶果香甜. 一啖肉一啖酒,令味蕾綻放,如置身花田之中.

- 梨撻配意大利朱古力雪糕/Tamellini Recioto di Soave Vigna Marogne 2004: 酥皮做得不錯,梨是新鮮貨色,不過熟亦不太甜,配合gelato剛好. 至於意大利甜酒則似sauternes,甜而帶果皮香. 兩者配合起來依然和諧.

- Petit Four: 有紅莓芝士蛋糕,開心果芭芙,朱古力牛油餅及杏仁餅. 款式看似吸引,但味道一般.
+ coffee & earl grey tea

餐廳不大,裝修平實. 招呼親切,經理不時與食客聊天. 食物與酒的配搭出色,令兩者均可互相輝映,誰也沒有搶了對方的風頭,可說是完美的婚姻.

是晚唯一憾事,是未能請客成功. 多謝miffy破費了.

Haven't been to this restaurant for many years, went there the other day to try it out again. Had mixed salad as appetizer, just another mixed salad, nothing special. For secondi, I had a linguine with clams. Again, nothing special, had better ones. The salmon main course was ok. The dessert was the only thing worth mentioning. I had an apple tart with ice cream. It was quite pleasant and refreshing, although not the best apple tart in town.The service was friendly.

Been to most of the restaurants at the Grand Hyatt and they have always been great. One last restaurant to try, Grissini, and this wasn't such an enjoyable experience. We had Parma ham for antipasto which was all right. Then pasta with pork sausage for primo, which was a bit hard and chewy. We ordered venison and veal for secondo. We were not asked how well we'd like them to be prepared, and they turned out to be too raw and the animal smell was a bit disgusting. On top of the tasteless food, th

On top of the tasteless food, the service wasn’t great. I guess my expectation was high because we had a great experience the previous day at Amber in the landmark mandarin. This was very disappointing and not even close to something that I would expect from a hotel like Grand Hyatt. The waiter came by to ask us how was the food with broken English, and we haven’t even finish replying, he was already about to walk away. As much as I enjoyed the beautiful harbor view, I really can’t wait to get out of that place.

First time here for lunch. Totally disappointed with the food quality. Ordered the 3-course lunch set with smoke salmon salad as the appetizer, seafood with homemade pasta as the main dish, and apple strudel with cinnamon gelato as dessert. For the whole meal, mineral water from Lauretana and their signature "grissini" are the things that I enjoyed the most.Average food at high price. Not worth going again.
