里間野平時行過都見到好多人排隊成日都想試 但太多人所以冇去到見生日飯唔知食咩 所以就特登book位我係去食lunch既 因為係中環 所以都係講英文入到去係白人姐姐serve我既 好有禮貌原來佢先第二日番工 岩岩黎左香港半年跟住開始叫野食 set lunch 250$ 一位 (10% service charge)我叫左份rib eyes 朋友叫左signature Duck&WaffleSet lunch包埋starters and dessert Starter好精美 都健康既 我叫左tuna 好新鮮跟住份rib eyes 叫左5成熟 岩岩好但質地有小小「鞋」 信邊有小小起焦 幾好食既跟住duck and waffle就真係正啦兩樣完全唔同既野mix埋一齊原來係咁match食落去個種味道好特別 小小甜 小小酸 鴨肉都幾鮮嫩跟住dessert個ice cream都好好味埋單大約1千蚊 都幾貴 但味道好服務又ok 都值得 可以再食推薦大家都去試!

跟住dessert個ice cream都好好味
埋單大約1千蚊 都幾貴 但味道好
服務又ok 都值得 可以再食
推薦大家都去試!

本身訂左位,夜晚8點,可惜落雨天好塞車,餐廳都有打電話來問我地,我地話塞車黎緊,最後8點半到,reception話叫我地等5分鐘,過左10分鐘後又話執緊枱,要等多5分鐘,過多10分鐘又問佢,又話等多5分鐘,過多10分鐘(即係等左30分鐘後諗住入去爆佢seed,話佢如果唔係5分鐘就唔會要我地白等,我地幫襯另一間算)但係呢個moment佢終於話有位,所以忍住冇爆seed, 既然等左咁耐入去試下。一開始係我地塞車遲左係我地唔啱,但係如果真係未咁快有位,可以直接同我地講係要等好耐,問下我地等唔等,而唔係欺騙我地、比假希望我地係咁等等等 等到唔知幾時。入到去即刻嗌野食同野飲,食物方面,都係Signature dish的Duck and Waffle最好食,其他都ok啦,留意番每一碟既份量都好細,就算係佢話係Large Plates/ To share果啲,4個人一人分一啖(eg. 一粒意大利bb雲吞仔)就冇,所以好適合啲想扮靚靚出街食飯但又唔想食飽肚的人。到10點左右,有唔同侍應係咁問我地食完未?收得碟未?最後直接擺張單比我地,而期間沒有一絲笑容。果種感覺,就好似去左一間up dup茶餐廳先體驗

到10點左右,有唔同侍應係咁問我地食完未?收得碟未?最後直接擺張單比我地,而期間沒有一絲笑容。果種感覺,就好似去左一間up dup茶餐廳先體驗到既態度(留意番,平時去啲高質茶餐廳啲態度都好好)。

之前好鍾意去London果間,因為無論係食物,服務,環境都係超級正;估唔到香港呢間分店令我地咁失望,食物質素都可以保持,但係員工的服務訓練真係需要加強。


We used to go to the London branch quite often and we were excited to try the Hong Kong branch this time. However, we were very disappointed with the dining experience in Hong Kong branch.

(1) False expectation: We booked a table at 8pm but we were stuck in traffic jam and late for 30 minutes. When we went to reception and the receptionist asked us to wait for 5 minutes as they were cleaning up the table. Then we kept asking them for few times every 10 mins, still got the same answer: 5mins, but eventually we waited for 30 mins to get in...

It would be fine if the receptionist can tell us honestly that we had to wait for 30 mins because we were late, but not keep saying 5 mins and let us standing outside for 30 mins with false expectation.

(2) Keep hinting us to leave: the waitresses didn’t smile at all and we don’t feel welcomed. And different people kept coming to our table and asked if we had finished our dishes and wants to clean up our table as soon as possible. It’s normal that people come to ask us if we had finished, but this time, 3 different people came to us in 5 minutes. And finally they just put the bill on the table. We had a feeling that we are not welcomed and they wanted us to leave immediately.

Actually the food quality is ok, but I hope the Hong Kong branch can improve their customer service and need more professional training for their staff, in order to make it more like other IFC-quality restaurants.

When talking about British food, I could think of Sunday roast 🍖, pies 🥧, fish & chips 🐟🍟 and all day breakfast 🍳, but after this dinner it kinda changed my mind!

The menu is only one-page long, so we had pretty much tried most of the signature items 🍽 Instead of ordering a main (large) each, the 4 of us ordered some large & small plates for sharing.

Food we ordered:

- Duck & waffle
A signature and must-try dish!!! The duck leg confit (I found out it’s French!) comes straight from the UK. Basically the duck leg is covered in salt for up to 36 hours before cooking. The dish is served on a waffle with a fried duck egg 🍳🦆 You may wonder this is a savoury dish but it’s served with a mustard maple syrup. Bit like chocolate with sea salt, the combination of sweet and savoury brings out the true flavours of the dish even more 👍🏻

- Roasted cod served with leek & peas
It made me think of the famous fish and chips 😆 but a healthier version as the cod is not fried. I find the sauce a bit watery but the taste was good, and the cod had a crispy skin and moist texture.

- Spiced ox cheek doughnut
Another dish combining the sweet and the savoury! So this is a dish with a fried doughnut (no holes) with ox cheek filling. The meat was perhaps slow-cooked therefore giving a soft and moist texture.

- Roasted Brussel sprouts
The Brussel sprouts were cooked with chestnuts 🌰 and bacon 🥓. I’m not a fan of chestnuts so I only picked the others to try 😂 the Brussel sprouts were cut into quarters which made the texture very crunchy 😋

- Baked Alaska
Reminded me of Eton’s Mess as they both have meringue included. The taste was not so sweet, perhaps they made it to fulfil the taste of the locals. The size is just right for one person. Because we weren’t that hungry so we shared between us.

(Originally I planned to order the macaroon sandwich too but we were way too full 😹)

Overall the food was great. My favourites would be duck & waffle and the ox cheek doughnut. The cost may seem pricey but it is reasonable at a shopping mall in the central district. The service was good and the waiter Cedrick was really nice and friendly. Would love to visit another time 😊

Duck and Waffle係英國好有名既餐廳.一直Bookmark左好耐都未去到試..因為見佢既評價唔算太好.食物質數屬中上,但畢竟價錢亦唔算平,所以試一次就夠了.1️⃣ Duck & Waffle $230 Signature一定要叫應該不用多說~Waffle上面有鴨肶,鴨蛋,再加上Maple Syrup. 本身以為佢係一道咸點,但係鴨肉同Maple Syrup加起來又出奇地夾wo~ 鴨肉係炸出來既,肉質比較乾身,所以唔好期望佢係好juicy既肉質 .2️⃣ English Breakfast $150由於我地去既時候只有Bruch Menu, 所以另外order左份English Breakfast. 坦白講味道比較普通, 唯一就係個Mushroom好juicy好好味.

I was assigned to a table under the escalator where the restaurant called it the “lounge”. I could not feel any air conditioning and kept on sweating. I requested to change table twice but the servers told me the tables were booked ..... I sit there for 15 minutes but none of those tables were filled. I was unable to eat and drink at all in such an unpleasant environment when I was non-stop sweating......... I had to leave and looked for a better place with good ventilation to eat. Don’t tell m

Duck & Waffle | 招牌鴨肉窩夫
The duck is nicely done and cooked right after we ordered, the skin of the duck is crispy but not oily. The waffle is crispy as well. The egg is sitting perfectly on the duck. The syrup is warm enough to enlighten the whole dish.
鴨腿是應該我們下單後立即烹調, 因為鴨皮十分之脆但又不油膩. 窩夫也是熱騰騰十分脆邊的, 那隻蛋在上面加上配以和暖的糖漿就變得十分完美!

We have been to D&W before, about a month ago for our anniversary, and were so impressed we decided to visit again for our weekly date night. What impressed us last time was the excellent service, view, food quality and prices. Nothing has changed and that's for the better.

When we arrived our table wasn't ready (we had a 'late' 9pm booking), nothing the staff could do about that so we headed out for a drink. A useful touch would be to use the counter area as you walk in for drinks, else you're kind of hanging around in the shopping centre waiting.

We were shows by our waiter (Matt - who was amazing) to a large booth, just for the two of us. The menus arrived promptly and we ordered a sparkling water and bottle of Gavi di Gavi ($620). The wines are quite pricy compared to the food (more below) with wines starting at $500 a pop and I would say most folks would order around the $600 range. If they had some choices in the $350-400 range it would be much more in line with food pricing.

Menu is appetisers , breads then either small or large/sharing mains. We ordered, as we did last time, the n'duja (think "Italian spicy salami") and gruyere bread ($70). It is simply outstanding, resembling more like a small, fluffy pizza. We can't get enough of this dipped in some olive oil.

I chose the beef tartare ($150). I've had steak tartate all over HK and this is as good as, if not better, than both Morton's and Pierre, at a fraction of the price. It's not only a huge portion but served perfectly with an egg on top and croutes. Absolutely fantastic.

Wife had the grilled octopus with potato and chorizo ($145) and she absolutely adores it, and the octopus was grilled to perfection.

For my main I went off-piste and chose the ox cheek doughnut with apricot jam ($135). I'm not a massive fan of sweet/savoury but nothing so far made me wonder it wouldn't be anything but delightful, And it was. The slow cooked ox cheek and sweet doughnut (resembling a large scotch egg) matched perfectly with the jam.

Wife had the 350g rib eye ($350) which she loved, but preferred the fillet she got last time ($300) as it was butterflied. The steak was cooked to perfection and well presented.

And if you choose anything, go for the beef fat potatoes ($85). They're not like anything I've ever tasted before, they are layered like a dauphinoise and fried. Honestly I could just eat 10 portions of these and be happy.

I'm also adding a picture of the grilled asparagus and truffles ($145) from last time. The asparagus was super fresh and the truffle accompaniment didn't overpower the taste.

Everything was spot on, even though we were last to arrive and leave we never felt rushed, each course came when ready, there is nothing to fault and a bill of $1700 was extremely reasonable.

Our new favourite without a doubt and a welcome addition to the HK foodie scene. Just hope the landlords don't get greedy!!

Good news is....they tried to keep as much interior design as that in the UK but the greatest attraction - a panoramic view of skyscrapers across the business hub - is absent. I totally understand that high rental price in Hong Kong makes for the difficulty in running a business, yet it’s still a pity that customers’ dining experience is lacking in something.



As a high-end restaurant, surprisingly, it allows dress code other than just formal attire. And the service charge was reasonable as we sat there and enjoyed our dinner as long as we could. I remember there was a time limit of the duration of dining, luckily, we picked a right time slot this time. So I’d say it’s more like a chill-out than a very serious dinner.



It’s still worthy of going anyway but CAST AWAY YOUR WISHFUl THINKING THAT THE OPENRICE DISCOUNT ON SET MENU IS FOR TWO PEOPLE. I didn’t meant that the proportion is too small (it’s actually fair enough), but if you go for the discount, all people in this table are in, and so no sharing of set menu or separate ordering of out-of-set-menu dish, unfortunately.
That’s why I would have so much to share about the food, my boyfriend and I each ordered one set and we both think that it was too much for us.




“Tomato dip with crackers” is a dish of nice snack to go. Fresh and light, no extra amount of ingredients which will stuff your stomach so quickly in the beginning. Sorry for not taking pictures

(Main dish) This was impressive since the duck was justly roasted! The one I had in London was kind of overcooked. Beside, I also like the waffle, crispy and buttery.

(Main dish) By its appearance, frankly, it was not as attractive as Duck & Waffle. But surprisingly, it’s actually good as the sea bass soaked up some of the tasty (a bit oily though) sauce with meat slices and green peas. Plus, the proportion was a bit large.

(Desserts) Normally, my stomach is always ready for sweet food but not this time. The previous dish has already stuffed our stomach to an extent that we had to miss the macaroon sandwich
the ice cream in the middle tasted sour and stimulated my stomach though.

(Desserts) I love the creative idea of adding black sesame into the dessert to make it more “eastern” without losing the original flavours of toffee pudding. Finally not eating chocolate in my dessert but still being able to taste the sweetness



Final word: a very worthy set dinner but the food maybe too much for just one person. Luckily, we could enjoyed the dinner to the fullest without time restrictions. If only the view could be more impressive....

第二次來吃,服務一如既往的好。食物方面大部分都好,但是牛排和鴨子上來之後沒多久就涼了,最好用厚鐵盤可以保持食物涼的慢一些。二人台稍微有點小,尤其是對於這樣質素的餐廳來說。燈光昏黃適合約會。推薦鴨子,牛排,薯條,一定要點的是玉米!堅決不可錯過啊!菜品比較重口味,偏甜,不適合減肥人士(以為內吃碳水,其實醬汁裡面滿滿的糖分啊)偶爾解解饞還是不錯的,畢竟IFC好吃的餐廳就這麼幾家,如果下班懶得走,還真的是個好去處。
