零九年三月上旬午餐城中名人開的餐廳,某日同同事談起,有值得一試的一面,找了個閒日來試試這裡的午市套餐。對面是Initial,開了一段時間,從前只賣輕食,可能是多了競爭對手,又開始賣意粉、意大利飯等主菜,這邊廂Al Bistro,簡約西餐風格同Vintage又帶點玩味的裝潢幾襯,新張的關系吧,外廳坐滿人,安排到內堂比較迫夾的位置,幸好都是斯文客,環境唔算好嘈雜。清一式四道菜午餐,無謂花時間諗了,主菜要了煎龍脷柳,前菜同餐湯是但。前菜是番茄.水牛芝士配雜沙律菜,兩大件厚身芝士軟糯帶微微奶酪香,夾著肉茄的微甜與鮮羅勒的幽香,是開胃亦稱心小品,伴碟的沙律菜新鮮,配埋濃縮過的意國黑醋,很輕易的吃過一絲不剩。湯是南瓜忌廉湯,濃稠的瓜蓉湯,微甜亦帶雞湯味道,瓜蓉足料但相對地忌廉下得不多,吃起來唔多夠滑,幾粒脆薄薄的麵包粒蘸上瓜蓉,比淨飲瓜蓉湯美味!兩味熱身前奏滿意,中間等上好些時間主菜才來,是大圍出菜模式,龍脷柳伴有酸菜同薯蓉。龍脷柳雖然是冰鮮貨,但火候好肉質滑嫩亦帶微微濕潤感,更難得是無半點雪味,見附近幾檯客都有點,同時間來幾味也有如此水準,是個有心的廚師。薯蓉下的牛油不多,老實的薯味,薯蓉連著薯

兩味熱身前奏滿意,中間等上好些時間主菜才來,是大圍出菜模式,龍脷柳伴有酸菜同薯蓉。龍脷柳雖然是冰鮮貨,但火候好肉質滑嫩亦帶微微濕潤感,更難得是無半點雪味,見附近幾檯客都有點,同時間來幾味也有如此水準,是個有心的廚師。薯蓉下的牛油不多,老實的薯味,薯蓉連著薯粒,很家常做法。

以焦糖布丁作結,配有雲呢拿雪糕,布丁不算滑但蛋味濃,焦糖一敲即碎,對甜品無研究,偶爾一甜,感覺還不錯,而最特別反而是雪糕加入忌廉,吃起來更滑溜,欣賞甜品師不驚意的創意。

侍應不算細心,招呼方面還算有禮,當然仍有很大進步空間,菜式平實但都是有心機之作,惟一不滿是沒有暖水供應,微雨天還要濕著身的客人喝室溫礦泉水,是太不近人情了吧?

I have been attracted by the deco of this restaurant when I passed by Cameron Road since last month.Today, I tried their lunch at around 130pm. The restaurant is very roomy but it was less than half full.3-course lunch sets vary from $60 to $100 each. I have been attracted by the deco of this restaurant when I passed by Cameron Road since last month.

Today, I tried their lunch at around 130pm. The restaurant is very roomy but it was less than half full.

3-course lunch sets vary from $60 to $100 each. You can choose sirloin, pork loin, roast chicken, fried garoupa fillet, risotto with lamb slices, tuna pasta or pizza. You could also choose a lighter meal with only soup and salad. Lunch set menu is changed bi-weekly.

Free water is served and there is no need to order bottled water.

The salad is OK and the veggie is more costly species. It would be better if the vegetable is fresher.

For the main course, we tried roast chicken and risotto with lamb slices. The chicken is the must try dish! The meat is juicy and tender, the skin is quite crispy and yet not oily.

According to the restaurant, their coffee bean is from Chile. The coffee is quite strong and smell good. We tried their Napoleon mango dessert ($70). It tastes OK but not very special.

The deco, furniture and music in the restaurant are pleasant and give you a space to relax

I would not say this is an excellent authentic Italian restaurant. But for such a price ($70 to $100 per head) for a 3-course lunch in a cosy environment in TST, it worths the money, especially for meeting friends for a good chat, dating or business lunch.

日前同朋友共四人往金馬倫道新開的 Al Bistro 意大利飱廳食Dinner,完Menu發覺啲嘢好普通但價錢徧貴,又冇set dinner 提供,只有一款 tasting menu 賣 $480(七道菜),但此 menu 却不附中文,向侍應生查詢,侍應生很詳細向我解釋每一道菜(呢樣抵讚而且很有專業水平),雖然啲菜好普通但姑且一試,於是叫咗一個tasting menu ,青口湯,pizza,pasta,risotto 同埋4個 main course 大家 share。之後大厨親自出來同我哋打招呼並向我哋大力推介當天的 daily special,後來經大厨不斷 hard sell 之下,就要咗佢推介嘅烹意式生醃海腊魚同埋4客鵝肝。tasting menu 份量好細,賣相尚可以但啲味道全都偏咸,青口湯有6隻青口,食得出幾新鮮但的湯就好似家樂牌湯底咁而且超咸。腊魚就不可接受嘞,只係將啲生魚片用油,檸汁同黑椒撈埋就上碟,既無賣相味道又好酸,加上魚肉唔多新鮮,我好奇怪點解烹意大利菜會出日式刺生(呢碟魚仲敢收 $480,真係豈有此理)。跟住碟鵝肝一食落口就知係用鴨肝冒充 (每客收 $180)

早兩日經過,食左午餐。可能新開,侍應仍然有少少遊魂,帶入黎位妹妹話去拎Menu之後就無左影,亦都無人倒水,要扣分。午餐又唔貴喎,七十到一百,所以都幾爆下,不過係尖沙咀金馬倫道坐室外﹖自問未有食塵的嚐好。室內裝修一般啦。揀左Pizza,頭盤 的沙律麻麻,菜唔夠新鮮,但係主角就相當好,薄得黎唔穿,餅底好煙韌,芝士香到不得了。就憑呢個薄餅,對呢間野有少少信心,下次可以試下晚飯。

Went there for lunch today. There are about 5 choices for lunch set, price range: $70 - $100 (+10% service charge).Lunch includes: Soup or Salad, bread, main dish, coffee or teaToday I had the chickpea soup, macaroni with white fish in tomato sauce, and coffee.The soup & bread was very good. They didn't servce butter with the bread. Instead, they served with a light brown sauce which I have no idea what it was even that I tasted it. The sauce wasn't bad but just not special.I didn't enjoy that

Today I had the chickpea soup, macaroni with white fish in tomato sauce, and coffee.

The soup & bread was very good. They didn't servce butter with the bread. Instead, they served with a light brown sauce which I have no idea what it was even that I tasted it. The sauce wasn't bad but just not special.

I didn't enjoy that main dish very much. The macaroni was a bit too hard for me, and the fish had the fishy taste (may be bcoz I didn't add the black pepper).

I don't drink coffee often but I just wanted to try the coffee. Unluckily that's not my cup of coffee... I prefer coffee with stronger smell.

The best thing of the restaurant is surely the decoration. The tables, chairs, lighting, and those masks on the wall.

In conclusion, it's still a nice place for lunch in Cameron Road if you wanna escape from the crowd.
