All you can eat Japanese are popular in Hong Kong. There are so many. Majority are pretty bad in quality or they always seem to forget your order. Boyfriend, his friend and I met one night for dinner as they had an all you can eat need. I chose this place as a coworker had come and told me that it was a bit ... different.
They have two time slots: 6:15 - 8:15 pm ($238 per person on weekdays and $268 for weekends and public holidays) and 8:45 - 10:45 pm. ($26 on weekdays and $288 for weekends and public holidays) If you get there before the time slot, you have to wait in line to get in. This is what happened with us. But on the dot ... when it was time to go in, everyone scrambled up the stairs to start pigging out!
When we sat down, we were informed what time was last order before they cleared everyone out of the restaurant. This would give them ample time for them to clean up and as boyfriend noted, a better way for them to control the problems of some people never wanting to leave after their two hours of gluttony was over. Maybe it was so organized, food came out very quickly and no item that was ordered did not show up.
The restaurant was more spacious than most all you can eat Japanese places. As I've been to some pretty cramped ones.
Chinese Double Boiled Soup. We weren't really sure what soup it was but it seemed to have daikon, carrots and bits of pork. The three of us got four bowls of soup out of it. It was pretty sweet and good tasting soup.

Baked Oysters. Fairly medium size oysters were used that were fresh and not just placed on top of shells and baked. They were covered with a nice amount of cheese and crunchy bacon bits.

Custard with Chocolate Sauce. I wasn't too into it but I'm not much of a chocolate fan. Boyfriend and his friend thought it was great as it was like eating mouthfuls of chocolate sauce.
