Pickled 番石榴 -As appertiser. Pretty good. Hainanese Chicken Rice Set -Things seem to have taking a downturn in the quality here. Not sure if its only at this new outlet, where the queue is shorter. What's interesting is that at the beginning during its first opening, they put lettuce underneath the chicken. Hainanese Chicken Rice Set -
Things seem to have taking a downturn in the quality here. Not sure if its only at this new outlet, where the queue is shorter.
What's interesting is that at the beginning during its first opening, they put lettuce underneath the chicken. Then, not long after opening they started putting sauce beneath the chicken instead, much like many Singaporean shops do. Nowadays it has reverted back to the original plating method without any sauce, and also minus the lettuce.
- Thousand Year Old Egg Mousse = has been TAKEN OFF the set. That was one of its attractions.

- Chicken Meat = No taste at all. Surprising, as in the beginning it was ok in this aspect. The meat was served way too cold, and it was kind of solid and tough. Not very smooth at all.

- Chicken Rice = This was really good in the past, but not anymore. Nowadays, all it tastes of is garlic upfront. There is no herbal or pandan leaf contribution whatsoever, although it has increased in chicken broth taste slightly. No longer a class act.
- Soy Sauce = a bit too burnt/bitter for me.

VERDICT: Not coming back anytime soon. For nearly $100 a set, I'll rather pay a little more and go to MIST Ramen
