Today is my husband's birthday and since the skies were clear, it would have been perfect to have dinner at the Peak. I called Pearl At The Peak around 12 noon but only got their recorded message instructing me to leave my name and number if I wanted a reservation. In addition to the information they requested, I specifically added that I would like a table at 8pm tonight and requested that they call me back to confirm.I waited till 6pm for them to confirm the reservation but the call never came

I waited till 6pm for them to confirm the reservation but the call never came. So I called and the girl on the phone went "oh! the restaurant is fully booked tonight! We have a big party today. Would you like to make a reservation for another day?" They did not have the simple decency to let me know that the restaurant is full. What if we went all the way to the Peak only to find out that we have wasted a trip there? Are they not capable at returning phone calls? They almost ruined my husband's birthday!!

Very nice view, the best ever. I had dinner with my girlfriend for her birthday, very lucky that I can get a window table.The sommelier, his name is Roger, he serve us a bottle of champagne, he is so professional and friendly, most of the staff are presentable and high quality. Their food is beautiful, but I cannot say that is good taste. My gf she likes the pearl meat ( recommanded by Roger), and The tiger prawn custard is alright, but the seafood with vanilla sauce is really terrible.

環境一流,特別是倚窗的位置(只有數枱).食物頗精緻,亦很特別,但是否合口味,則見仁見智.叫了一個頭盤,是用一些類似蚌肉(他們叫pearl meat)炒熟後放在一片冬菇上面,蚌肉十分香口鮮甜,冬菇亦十分好味,然而只是小小的數片郤嫌太少.另外叫了三客主菜,一客牛扒,一客豬扒及一客雞胸.牛扒沒什麼特別,比起很多餐廳還要遜色,反而伴碟的意大利飯很野味特別.豬扒是有機豬扒(有機?), 味道甜甜的很不錯, 伴菜一般.反而最欣賞雞胸. 雞胸由於少脂肪,一般餐廳都會把雞胸烤得很粗糙.然而Pearl on the Peak 的雞胸十分嫰滑多汁, 吃下去味道很不錯.可是十分昂貴, 如果是特別日子則一試無妨

反而最欣賞雞胸. 雞胸由於少脂肪,一般餐廳都會把雞胸烤得很粗糙.然而Pearl on the Peak 的雞胸十分嫰滑多汁, 吃下去味道很不錯.
可是十分昂貴, 如果是特別日子則一試無妨

I rarely write restaurant reviews but this time I felt that I must share my views.First we were greeted by a very nice lady and she's polite and all. First we were greeted by a very nice lady and she's polite and all. The place itself is nice too, nice decor, and of course with a breath-taking view.

Thereafter, we were absolutely neglected. We waited for a long while before we get our water & bread. We got 2 baskets of bread - strange enough one was freshly baked and hot, the other was cold.

We were then told that the brunch menu was all sold so we would have to order a la carte. Ok fine, it's Mother's Day, well understood.

To cut it short, the soups we ordered were more like canned soups; the tastes of the grilled chicken and the curry duck are disappointing.

Fine, food taste is very personal - but further to that we ordered the T-bone steak in medium rare and it came out well done, they were nice enough to re-do the steak but too bad it came out as well-done still; the TIGER PRAWNS we ordered turned out to be 5 little prawns!

The service was not acceptable for a restaurant of this grade, the waitors are nice but they just did not have a clue when to take our plates away and when to serve us pepper.

Am I being harsh? Of course, if I am paying $500/person for a lunch, I am expecting a very nice lunch. At this price, I think places like CAPRICE, AMIGO are far better.

是溫馨滿載的一個週日中午。山頂擠滿了遊客,這店卻是異常的寧靜,連帶侍者也是溫幽幽的。從不是急性子的我,望著落地大玻璃外,君臨天下的一望無際美景,也就是樂得此刻能緩了下來,好好跟家人享受一下這難得的怡逸。週日的Brunch是異常的豐富,先來是我最愛的午間飲料:香檳。多得這奇妙甘露,喚醒了我仍是半昏的味蕾。良久,再送上的,是冰鎮海鮮拼盆,有海水甘鮮洋溢的Tasmanian Rock和Bald Eagle生蠔;肉厚汁豐的鮮嫩加拿大龍蝦;與及水準略遜的青口跟大蝦。還有一碗精緻清新的橙柚牛油果帶子他他,全像在提醒著我:初夏已臨。前菜是浸半生熟蛋厚多士配三文魚子醬。蛋是用上了濃湯浸製,帶有微黃鮮香。叉子往蛋白裡放的那刻,熱濃的蛋漿幽雅的溢出,滲滿了炸得香脆的金黃多士內,配上三文魚子醬,口感複雜豐沃,層次精彩。再配合了Riesling和Chardonnay,前者清香怡悅,後者滑膩。跟前菜的配合,就是各有千秋,平分春色。主菜點了牛柳,火喉控制不佳,不是我愛的medium rare。配菜也有欠心思,只是一大片的變種炸薯餅、黑松露菌及露荀絲。家人點的鱸魚與及意粉,反而來得可口清新。相對而言,配酒反成了主角

相對而言,配酒反成了主角:Pinot Noir是典型的新世界風格,是略帶薄的雜莓果香,容易入口,是戴俏的可人兒;Shiraz Cabernet卻是來得複雜內斂,是那股胡椒般的辛香,待在口腔中,每一階段,綻放出不同的層次驚喜,是教人泥足深陷的性感尤物。

甜品是四小件拼盆:有芭芙、果仁什莓酥餅、朱古力硬餅及香草奶油伴酒浸梨。買相俏麗,但就不是全合口胃,只因注意力都給了那由袋鼠國來,帶著甜渾果蜜芳香的甜酒上。

是心靈跟胃納也滿足的一餐。離去時,搭著妳肩膀,感受到妳那担著家事,變得日漸收縮的身段。慶幸今天的妳仍能開心健康地,跟我分享這頓美饡。

前幾天到pearl 吃lunch, 本以為好貴, 但2 course meal 都係$168, 3 course 都係$198, 雖然唔算好大份, 但都夠飽, 以此價錢都算不錯, 等同到中環區高級餐廳的價錢. 不過地方比我想像中小了點, 論view, 我都比較喜歡cafe deco

聖誕節總要食番一兩餐鬼佬嘢才算應節(儘管整得好食的火雞如鳳毛麟角)。廿五號晚一千蚊位,山頂有景,取價還可。每味菜均有水標,沒想到美心集團有如斯出品,實令人喜出望外。最難得D 麵包夠熱,配檸檬橄欖油,正!不過個餐不包奶茶,此乃遺憾。

Long time no post the comments of restaurant here, almost six months. Yes, once again,it's the friend's birthday gathering and she recommended this restaurant so the reservation is made before one week.The famous of the restaurant is the night view that we can enjoy the beautiful scene duringdinner. But the tips is you should book the window seat and the whether is good at night.And another tips is the reservation is as earlier as you can because the booking of window seat is so tight.The rest

Long time no post the comments of restaurant here, almost six months. Yes, once again,
it's the friend's birthday gathering and she recommended this restaurant so the reservation
is made before one week.

The famous of the restaurant is the night view that we can enjoy the beautiful scene during
dinner. But the tips is you should book the window seat and the whether is good at night.
And another tips is the reservation is as earlier as you can because the booking of window seat is so tight.

The restaurant is dark and the atmostphere seems like 'High class and stylish'. We take a rest and
it's great that 'Crisped Hibiscus Flower' and 'Pearl Bread' (free of charge) is coming to serve everyone before we ordered the food.
How about the food ? I forgot the appertizer but recalled my memory is good. About the soup, I ordered the simple one, 清湯but the soup is not very hot that I don't like it. Then lamb, beef, fish is the main dishes. My main dishes is beef but I like the lamb it's so delicious and good taste which is out of our expectation. All our comments about the main dishes is good and delicious. Then dessert is coming. The mixed dessert is mainly warm chocolate cake, caramel cake and ice-cream, both cake are too sweet for us, just ice-cream is ok. I ordered a 'Birthday mixed desserts' to my friend when reservation but we don't know the mixed desserts is as same as
we ordered before so that we must eat 3 mixed over-sweet chocolate desserts. Next 'Pearl Chocolates' is (free of charge) coming, our weight is suddenly rise.

Around $650 for each person, it is too expensive but the service is good. All the waiter
are quite smart, smiling face, polite and stylist. However I query that when introducing food, the waiters talked to us by English.
High class or usually serve Western ? Surpise that it's the Maxims group.

我要lobster $480 同前菜pearl meat $180. 2樣野都幾好味. 但... 如果吾係一邊傾計一邊食. 個lobster 可能10 分鐘都食完. 因為真係好細. pearl meat 都好細.但的確好味. 朋友叫的食物.有三文魚, 佢話好好,d汁好清,好味. steak 就一般. 地方都幾好,但個view 其實我覺得aqua 靚d. 服務都幾好.但有一個waiter 明明大家中國人都要同你講英文. 可能想製造個形象高級d. 但是, 如果係咁, 個餐牌就吾好有中文la..ps.呢間係美心group.

今晚本來想同隻馬騮仔去Lawry奈何waitinglist要排到十四真係彩佢都傻喇.七點幾無無聊聊走左上山頂、見到有間不知名?新餐廳,咪走入去試下囉.入到去見冇乜人,大把位,就揀?張窗口位對正國金??,景觀好靚.一坐低,一個貌似驚情四百年個伯爵?品酒師就先送上大包一個同炸花一碟,?,又幾好食喎!!點菜時先發現冇生蠔供應.有D失望,最後叫左青口及雞豆湯做頭盤,和牛加鵪做主菜.先講講?頭盤-青口雖然細細隻,不過都好好味,而個湯就好濃,仲有?好'草'?葉做沙律,唔錯!致於主?就一-般冇乜驚喜.最後到甜品就有芝士併盤(OK)同薑汁布丁伴香蕉雪糕(麻麻地..以為布丁會熱辣辣同雪糕一齊食會好有口感,點知唔凍唔熱咁..).總之,以咁?價錢去國金肥佬H(Harlan's)道仲好。順帶一提,可能間廳太新,洗手間尚未開放,有心幫襯就要準備去商場個洗手間喇!

朋友生日, 豪請11人到山頂食飯, 終於可以豪吃一頓!!餐前先在露天的地方飲香檳, 環境優美, 盡覽香港夜景. Waiter只為我們加了第一次酒之後便無影無跡, 這裏風力極之強勁, 吹得頭鬆四飛, 頭也開始有點痛……終於點菜了, 食物選擇都十分多, 前菜來了一客蜜餞大紅花片, 蜜糖太甜太厚, 吃不到大紅花的味道, 而且甜味的感覺像脆麻花, 不好吃的點了他們招牌的番茄啫喱伴橄欖, 番茄啫喱的味道很清, 番茄味尚算濃, 但橄欖的味道不知怎麼咸得有點不對勁, 完全蓋了啫喱之味, 加上下層的西瓜十分甜, 整碟菜式又咸又甜, 很怪. 另一個頭盤生牛肉他他賣相不錯, 牛肉香滑加上香草十分好的配搭, 這個頭盤附送三件牛油香蒜多士, 真是有點不倫不類, 破壞了之前的美好配搭主菜要了一客煎三文魚, 想不到這個竟是水準之作, 肉質煎得恰到好處, 肉滑而且完全不帶半點腥味, 魚上加了數片parmesan cheese及chives, 雖然兩者都是濃味食物, 但併起來郤十分合拍, 整個菜式都清淡健康, 份量亦是意想不到的大, 好味好味!! 蒙牛的lamb cutlet郤是令人大失所望, size超細超少,

主菜要了一客煎三文魚, 想不到這個竟是水準之作, 肉質煎得恰到好處, 肉滑而且完全不帶半點腥味, 魚上加了數片parmesan cheese及chives, 雖然兩者都是濃味食物, 但併起來郤十分合拍, 整個菜式都清淡健康, 份量亦是意想不到的大, 好味好味!! 蒙牛的lamb cutlet郤是令人大失所望, size超細超少, 以$300多元的價錢, 只給予三件份量如一口羊肉, 真是太過份了!再者肉質又不是高質素, 真不明白為何2個main course的分別會如此大……..

甜品亦是令人失望之作, 這一客賣相如tiramisu的triple chocolate, 朱古力味濃但水流流的質感, 令人感到好像未雪好的甜品一樣, 感覺很差

席間叫了2支酒, waiter要叫才懂過來加酒, 而且除非飲到最後一滴才加給你, service非常之差!!! 惡劣, service給予零分!!! 真如以前的openricer所說一樣, “有氣氛, 無情調”

前晚我同我老婆上去呢間餐廳食飯,本來以為好正。點知一入到去,就覺得同雜誌寫嘅係完全兩樣野。裡面好似成間茶樓咁,又嘈又無情調。D人就喺度大聲講,大聲笑。諗住都算啦,邊閃光燈又喺度閃。D待應又好似好唔得閑咁,想追D嘢食都無人理。比咁嘅價錢,不如去對面cafe Deco 都好過。

早幾日睇到報紙見到呢間餐廳,於是同我男朋友打電話去Book 枱. 當然我好想要window seat 啦, 不過個聽電嗰位女仔,一聽到就已經話window seat full 咗.真可惜.嗰晚我一上到去,一見到間餐廳就停步.真係好靚,有D 鐵達尼feel.然後就有個外籍男仔帶我們去坐低,張枱都唔錯,都見到個view.整體D員工個個都好smart, 幾靚女, 幾型仔.嗰晚一個叫Chris的經理招呼我哋都幾靚仔.然後竟然呢到有個長頭髮叫Dicken的品酒師,同佢傾下都覺得佢幾專業,幾有型.是晚我哋叫咗一個Peral Meat 同beef tart tart嘅頭盤,好好食.個三文魚就差D啦, kobe 牛好正. 食物有85分.加一支澳洲嘅wine, 幾好嘅介紹.所有嘢都好正.估唔到美心集團都可以做到咁靚嘅餐廳.係唯一走時見到個host個態度就真係麻麻啦.扣5分啦.都有80分. very good.

全港最高餐廳...環境好掂...但你想像到很貴...不過都覺值得既!食物不錯~推介loyster~very fresh!服務...可以啦...可能新開不太熟手?唯一上菜時間耐了一點.....
