We went there for lunch as the weather has cooled down.The place is beautiful as always. We ordered caesar salad with smoked salmon, buffalo wings, lamp curry, chicken burger and roast duck. One glass of wine. The bill was close to 1K for three of us.Everything was just so so to very bad. The chicken burger was so dry and tasteless that we have to ask for pickle to add some taste. 昨晚天公造美, 上山頂前已停雨, 可如期上山頂遊玩,但另往別處晚飯 原因以為山頂冇咩好食. 在等纜車期間, 望到太平山餐廳的大廣告, 向身邊人問: 對方說:,那就易辨事了未食晚飯前, 因太餓已買左個burger頂肚再遊玩, 到真正晚飯時已將近10點, 肚子亦飽左一半, 決定食少d. 睇過2版menu後, 挑選2樣最想食既main course已足夠. 印式烤海鱸魚+印度簿餅 意式海鮮紅花意大利飯上餐時間好快, 數分鐘而已, 熱騰騰的印度烤鱸魚以鐵板上卓,配印度簿餅. 單睇賣相以為好乾身, 但當魚肉送進嘴裡時, 魚肉鮮嫩, 啖啖肉既魚扒係我至愛, 最討厭要挑骨的魚!配上印度汁香味濃, 帶少許酸, 很多橙色的調味料蓋魚扒上,但絕非辣椒, 正! 配料還有洋怱絲及雜菜,好食都停不了. 意式risotto都上卓了, 海鮮配料足,有中蝦, 魷魚圈, 魚塊,帶子, 大蜆等等, 用料新鮮, 未有交行貨. 只係汁略嫌唔夠濃, 意大利飯口感煙韌, ok !論服務, 用餐環境,食物水準都非常好, 侍應有禮及有耐性, 室內環境及氣氛皆浪漫寫意, 10點過後有live band表演, 後座有客人生日, 餐廳會配

The interior was great - it was decently decorated and allowed for true relaxation.About the food:Seafood Platter was nice. 古色古香的太平山餐廳，開業於山頂多年，在好友相約下，終有機會試試。凱撒沙律配亞拉斯加蟹肉：沙律菜翠綠度不算很吸引，味道沒有多大驚喜。亞拉斯加蟹肉味帶鹹香富鮮味，伴以清新沙律作配菜力度恰到好處。煙三文魚印度烤包：大大塊的煙三文魚，鋪滿印度烤包之上，製作雖簡單，但味道效果不俗。牛肉漢堡包配車打芝士：牛肉產地來自澳洲，肉香OK喇，但不夠juicy，及因邊位烤得過火，以致漢堡扒帶點焦味。漢堡包包身挺鬆軟，唔錯。追加芝士亦有助多添漢堡的吸引度，可以一試。芝士杏肉釀雞柳：雞柳用煙肉包裹後才煎煮，味道香口。雞柳肉質都算嫩滑，和芝士味道匹配，但杏肉效果則不突出。主菜底層伴上薯蓉，都調較得香口好吃。蕃茄大蝦長通粉：用上鮮茄醬，味道酸溜清新。大蝦不算很大，口感味道只屬中等水準。

We arrived at "peak" lunchtime (sorry, that was terrible), but were still seated immediately. We had to sit in the smoking section. It was odd, because the other section was only halfway full, but it was fine, because no-one was smoking in the smoking section. 話說我老公一早訂左枱同我食生日飯,當晚我地去到門口, 有幾個女侍應問我地有冇訂枱, 我老公話有!點知佢話冇我地既 booking !!!但係我老公個電話明明就有呢間餐廳既通話紀錄...佢地都可以死口話我地冇訂枱...(佢地已經開始對我地 d 態度好惡劣 )爭拗左成個字...我老公忍吾住講左一句 : 咁係咪冇訂枱就吾比食丫???個女侍應死死氣話 : 咁又吾係!雖然 d 食物吾錯...但係請埋 d 咁既侍應...間餐廳真係遲早敗0係 d 女侍應身上...今時今日咁既服務態度真係吾得!!!雖然 d 侍應態度差, 不過不得不讚 d 食物真係吾錯, 特別係個燒雞, 個汁好好味...甜品推介 - 麵包布丁雪糕~~

這日天氣不錯，午餐後上了山頂走走。見很久沒去過這故色故香的山頂餐廳（雖然早幾年轉手經營，名也改了，但建築物還是老樣子），便進去坐坐緬懷一下。環境裝修依舊，沒什麼大轉變。服務也有善，有禮貌。我們兩各要了杯啤酒（約$80？／杯），喜力生啤，清涼夠凍。另加了份公司三文治（約$160-180）。麵包烘熱過，料靚又豐富，配上香脆薯條，是粗身肥薯條，好食！我們帶著大滿足的心情下山，期待下次再到訪。

Decided to eat at the Peak Lookout today after walking up the peak. What a terrible decision! 這天偷得浮生半日閒，相約友人到＂高處＂呼吸一下不一樣的空氣。對於太平山餐廳，我們有著不同的回憶，友人的是紀念日的甜蜜印記，我的則是兒時難忘的家庭樂。置身於餐廳室外的露天園林之中，雖然礙於角度問題，未能把響譽國際的維港美景收入眼簾，但春末夏初的微風、日落時份的斜陽，已悄悄地把我們那顆過度暴露於凡塵的心柔化了。一個凱撒沙律、一份卡邦尼意粉、兩杯咖啡，就這樣填滿了一個下午!美好的餐廳環境； 悠長的歷史背景；不過不失的食物質素； 取道中庸的收費水平；本來可以毫無疑問地把太平山餐廳列入必到餐廳之一。 可惜服務我們的，是幾個不甚專注的侍應，那份被冷待的失落感，在心底久久揮散不去。希望下次再來的時候，能真正享有一個美好而難忘的用餐經驗!

I went to the Peak Lookout today with a few customers for a business lunch, the food was generally ok, but there was one waiter who really pissed me off! We ordered for a plate of fruit at the end of the lunch, and we were actually hurrying back to office. We waited for around 10 minutes yet the plate didn't come, I went to that waiter (who looks quite tanned and short, Latin guy) to check if they have missed out our order. Pre-Christmas lunch with family, 3 of us.I haven't been here for over a year, The Peak Lookout is one of my class favourite choices for any celebration event. I love this place very much as this is my childhood restaurant, I used to come over to celebrate Christmas / Birthday / New Year once a year when I was young. The restaurant environment and atmosphere is nice and dim but adequately lit.The menu is a bit odd though, its like being in a food court. Anyway on with the food.Nasi Goreng - Lots of calories but really tasty. Lamb Tandoori - tender and juicy, tasty. Naan bread - hot nice and freshOverall experience was very good, I'll definitely go back again even though its a tasty/pricey food hall. Also need to try the desserts!!!

I used to love the Peak Cafe. Ever since it became the Peak Lookout, the quality of food keeps on lowering.It's probably over 2 years since I last came here. It turns out, the quality has gone down even further! How much further down can it get?? Not only the food quality was bad, the service was even worse! I ordered an iced lemon tea and they gave me the tea without the lemon! Here's the rest of the disappointing food...
