This street is full of restaurants and this seemed to be a big one so we headed here after failing to get a table in another. I was under the impression it’d be nicer in decor but went I got there, I realised I was all wrong. From the decor to the food and the service, the crowds are here for a reason unknown to me.Very crammed as a proper chaa chan teng should be. Very crammed as a proper chaa chan teng should be. The high turnover rate makes it possible to have free tables most of the time. Very noisy or lively, depending how you look at it.
Weekday lunch set that rotates depending on the day helps keeping things affordable and interesting. I start to see why people come here.
But the food was too salty. I got the three barbecue meat combo and it was not great. This place is supposee to have great meats but it was all very dry. Generous portions but I wasn’t all that happy about that. Much of a bad thing, who wants that anyway.
