California Crisp Tacos with Chicken & Black Beans-A complex flavored dish with the simplest ingredients, crispy deep fried taco and yummy homemade chipotle aioli sauce.
Corn Tortilla Chips with 3 House-made Dips-I liked the avocado corn salsa the most following the tomato pico de gallo dip, the tortilla chips tasted average but I liked how the cheese inside were still melting and gooey.
Camembert, Onion, Mushroom Bruschetta-Grilled sourdough crostini paired with sautéed mushroom and my all-time favorite camembert cheese made to bite size, easy to eat every ingredient all at once. Crispy on the bottom and soft on the top, nice balance.
Grilled Cheese With Sliced Green Apple-I LOVE THIS! This grilled cheese sandwich took me to heaven, as well as that homemade tomato soup, I actually used it as a dipping sauce and both actually matched quite well. The soup was very rich and thick, didn’t taste anything like canned tomato soup.
Fried CalamariCrispy on the outside, and chewy on the insides. Even though I didn’t dip it with the spicy cabernet dipping sauce because I don’t eat spicy, but the calamari itself was well prepared and was not soggy at all. Yummmy~
Overall I’d say the restaurant delivers good quality snacks and beverages, with a hint of cultural food (Mexican American I’d say) in it. Worth a try!
