Walking into vie won won feels like entering a mystical story, with skeletons hanging above you and a plethora of vintage mystical decorations. It definitely shows the humongous amount of thought and effort that went into the interior design! Apart from the beautiful decor and interior, their mouth-drooling food is definitely one of the highlights of my dinner! We got the classic vie vie won yam fries, a sweet potato risotto with seared scallops and a beetroot portobello risotto. I had never had sweet potato risotto before so I was super excited and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It had a very creamy flavour with hints of herbs, mild spices and bock pepper, perfect for someone like me, who prefers more flavourful food🤪😂. The seared scallops were cooked very well and the combination of the risotto and seared scallops really paired well. Besides the taste, it had a gorgeous pastel purple shade to it which is extremely pretty and ig-able✌🏽. The beetroot risotto also had a beautiful dark pink/purple color to it and was full of flavour. The yam fries were also one of the highlights of the night because they were packed with seaweed flavour and tasted so good! Crunchy outside and soft inside👍. Would definitely come back to try their other dishes and desserts 🍨.
