Have been desperately waiting something new and interesting in IFC mall. Finally, a new restaurant, Duck and Waffle just opened. Really excited and immediately queue up to try out as soon as possible during their soft launch. We asked server for recommendations and have selected a few dishes to try out. First, tried beef tartare, fresh and juicy. Then we tried cheesy fried Polenta, very moist inside and special. For the yellowfin tuna appertizer, it is served on a big piece of Himalaya rock salt piece. Server has recommended us to eat as soon as possible as the more it stays the more salty the fish will become. Interesting dish with a kick in flavors. For the most signature one, of course we have to try out duck and waffle dish. I was skeptic before I go there to try but surprisingly, it does match together. Not bad at all. At last, we still have room to try their French toast, very moist bread but it is a bit sweet to us. Love the environment and friendly servers, will definitely go back to try out other dishes. Can’t wait.
