🌹星期天在疫情嚴重的日子,都想搵一餐好味的午餐來食,選了IFC內Duck & Waffle,這間是英國過江龍,以前經過有排隊龍,怕排隊在OpenRice訂位,竟然有合適時間,即時訂了11:30去探店。🌹到達食店人客不多,我們被安排在窗外邊位置,景觀很好,一路看着好天氣一路食好吃食物,享受人生就是這樣。食店以休閒設計為主,最矚目是兩隻綠色鴨,食店招牌🦆。點餐🍽5🌟為滿分💯🦆 Duck & Waffle 🧇 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟鴨腿香口,Waffle 又軟又脆English Breakfast 🌟🌟🌟🌟組合很豐富,每樣都合口味,不多不少Ice Mocha 🌟🌟🌟🌟朱古力味適中Chocolate Pudding這個扣了分🌟🌟芝麻雪糕上檯時已溶,朱古力布甸不太甜,味道可以個人評分5💙為滿分💯食物💙💙💙服務💙💙(有一位服務員在我們落單時,顯出不耐煩樣子,其他服務員都有禮)環境💙💙💙衛生💙💙💙抵食💙💙💙回頭率💙💙💙 繼續閱讀

最近幾喜歡去 Duck & Waffle,食物的造型及味道皆有水準,可說接近星級餐廳水平,若然找到套餐,CP 值更高。今晚參加了 Asia Miles x OpenRice Restaurant Week 2020  優惠,預先在 Asia Miles  app 訂位,食飯仲可以賺埋積分,$368/位 四道菜晚餐。Menu 組合設計正常。Snack: Bacon Wrap Dates (4.5/5)三款小吃中,Bacon Wrap Dates 看來最美味。這個迷你小吃其實很有份量,焦香肥美的煙肉卷,𥚃面包著番薯,入口先嚐到香脆及鹹香,繼而番薯的軟糯及甜美,非常討好的對比,再配以蜜糖芥辣,更令味道昇華,我非常鍾意!Starter: Beef Tartar   (3.5/5)兩片薄多士烤至脆如餅乾,入口嗦嗦脆,橙色生蛋混合生嫩牛肉,口感如預期中的濕潤滑溜,意料之外是辣辣地的,煥然一新,好吃。Irish Crab   (4/5)相比 Beef Tartar 迷你得多,但蟹肉幾鮮,調味出色,與脆米餅很合拍,我更喜歡。Duck & Waffle     (4/5)店之招牌,的確唔錯。Waffle 新鮮,外脆內軟,鴨脾煎至金黃香口,鴨皮酥脆,肉質唔算太乾,蓋上一只太陽蛋增加濕滑本已聰明,畫龍點睛更是備以蜜糖,淋上倍添滋潤,成功軟化了難免乾硬了的鴨肉。USDA Grain Rib Eye    (4/5)牛肋肉粉嫩正常,薯餅方才是重點,貌如千層磚頭,估計做法是把薯仔整齊切薄片,然後再煎烤,食落有千層酥的口感,有水準。Black Sesame Sticky Toffee Pudding   (4/5)相信概念來自中式的芝麻糊,稠糊的黑芝麻汁配合蜜糖雪糕,效果非常好,另類芝麻糊!Sticky Rice and Mango Pudding      (3.5/5)西式演繹的芒果糯米飯,別於一般,重點是 waffle 香脆,成功的變奏。 繼續閱讀

Apologies readers, it took me a long time to post this (I ate in Dec 2019) 🙈 as I gave myself a long break from writing reviews frequently.Unfortunately I didn’t try this restaurant when I was in the UK, but it just so happens that this restaurant has now come to Hong Kong, therefore giving me a chance to try XD When talking about British food, I could think of Sunday roast 🍖, pies 🥧, fish & chips 🐟🍟 and all day breakfast 🍳, but after this dinner it kinda changed my mind! The menu is only one-page long, so we had pretty much tried most of the signature items 🍽 Instead of ordering a main (large) each, the 4 of us ordered some large & small plates for sharing. Food we ordered:- Duck & waffleA signature and must-try dish!!! The duck leg confit (I found out it’s French!) comes straight from the UK. Basically the duck leg is covered in salt for up to 36 hours before cooking. The dish is served on a waffle with a fried duck egg 🍳🦆 You may wonder this is a savoury dish but it’s served with a mustard maple syrup. Bit like chocolate with sea salt, the combination of sweet and savoury brings out the true flavours of the dish even more 👍🏻- Roasted cod served with leek & peas It made me think of the famous fish and chips 😆 but a healthier version as the cod is not fried. I find the sauce a bit watery but the taste was good, and the cod had a crispy skin and moist texture. - Spiced ox cheek doughnutAnother dish combining the sweet and the savoury! So this is a dish with a fried doughnut (no holes) with ox cheek filling. The meat was perhaps slow-cooked therefore giving a soft and moist texture. - Roasted Brussel sproutsThe Brussel sprouts were cooked with chestnuts 🌰 and bacon 🥓. I’m not a fan of chestnuts so I only picked the others to try 😂 the Brussel sprouts were cut into quarters which made the texture very crunchy 😋- Baked Alaska Reminded me of Eton’s Mess as they both have meringue included. The taste was not so sweet, perhaps they made it to fulfil the taste of the locals. The size is just right for one person. Because we weren’t that hungry so we shared between us. (Originally I planned to order the macaroon sandwich too but we were way too full 😹)Overall the food was great. My favourites would be duck & waffle and the ox cheek doughnut. The cost may seem pricey but it is reasonable at a shopping mall in the central district. The service was good and the waiter Cedrick was really nice and friendly. 以前喺英國讀書想試好耐,但一直都冇機會,好彩佢都黎左香港開分店,仲要有參加restaurant week!今次我地2個人就試左個3-course lunch StarterYellowfin Tuna (4/5)我個人好鐘意食魚生,覺得幾好味幾開胃Grilled 18hr Pork Belly (3.5/5)幾大塊,味道唔錯Main🦆 Duck & Waffle (5/5)必試嘅招牌菜,聽講鴨脾用左好多個鐘去餣,到有人叫先再煎香層皮,所有先做到外皮脆而肉又嫩滑。碟菜連埋waffle同煎鴨蛋一齊上,食前淋上d糖漿,再篤穿個蛋黃,咁樣食法簡直天衣無縫💯 “Hara Bhara” Lamb Chops (4/5)Dessert Black Sesame Sticky Toffee Pudding (3.5/5)“Sticky Rice and Mango” Waffle (3.5/5)..............................味道😋: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️環境👀: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️服務👨🏻‍🍳: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫抵食💰: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 繼續閱讀

終於有機會嚟這間英國倫敦人氣名店 — Duck & Waffle,係上年9月進駐了香港ifc。佢哋係餐廳週嘅「最佳A-class餐廳」,其餐廳週嘅3道菜午餐有招牌鴨肉窩夫喎 (HK$198/每位,另收10%服務費)前菜:18小時烤豬腩肉 (Grilled 18hrs Pork Belly)豬腩肉軟腍,一點也不肥膩,其參巴醬味道是甜中帶有少少辣,食落好開胃。點一些kewpie蛋黃奶油醬,多了些少酸味,面頭的豬油脆脆更豐富了口感。主菜:鴨腿窩夫 (Duck & Waffle) (+HK$100)這碟菜有特別食法㗎。首先把油封鴨腿起肉去骨,之後戳破個蛋黃,倒些芥末楓醬在蛋黃上、最後把窩夫、鴨腿肉、蛋一齊切到一口size食,這樣才會有多層次的美味味道。甜品:’芒果糯米飯’窩夫 (‘Sticky Rice & Mango’ Waffle)哈哈,又係窩夫,不過這碟配上好濃味嘅米味雪糕、新鮮酸甜芒果肉和脆米粒,好味呀😋最後埋單是HK$328,可以食到平時要俾HK$500先食到嘅3道菜,抵食👍🏻😋 繼續閱讀
