Dining has got to be more than the food served. In this case, the service is unfortunately quite lacking. The booking policy forces customers to stand and wait, which is a terrible way to treat customers. the problem is, the staff are completely unapologetic about this situation.Terrible policy setting causing completely disgruntled would be customers, many of which become annoyed and turned away. Terrible policy setting causing completely disgruntled would be customers, many of which become annoyed and turned away.

Pasta, while good is unsettled if the overall experience is negatively received, and tends to spoil the night. This has happened on two occasions already. I'm unlikely to go back because I'd rather not spoil my night - no pasta is that good.

The Italian food is great and authentic but the service is absolutely disgusting especially the bald manager who treats their customers like shit. The whole night my friends and I had to tolerate his terrible attitude and we were only given one hour to eat our food! I hope the owner of pici is reading this and will do something to improve their services.

I never put any comments usually but here I felt I needed to after the expereience we had last night. We (only 2 persons) went there since people told us it was a nice place with good food.1. The doorman (not nice or friendly at all) told us to wait 45 min even though there were plenty of seats available (at least 5). We did not say anything, maybe it's marketing or maybe people were coming...or maybe because we were only 2 they did not want us to sit on a big table...fair enough.2. We came back

I never put any comments usually but here I felt I needed to after the expereience we had last night. We (only 2 persons) went there since people told us it was a nice place with good food.

1. The doorman (not nice or friendly at all) told us to wait 45 min even though there were plenty of seats available (at least 5). We did not say anything, maybe it's marketing or maybe people were coming...or maybe because we were only 2 they did not want us to sit on a big table...fair enough.

2. We came back after 45min because the same doorman called us saying the table was ready and still we had to wait other 10 mins once we got there the 2nd time.

3. He gave us 2 seats on the counter right under the AC, which was not fine for us since my friend had a cold.
We noticed there were 3 seats available at the front so we asked to move.

4. The doorman did not want us to seat at the front because POTENTIALLY he could fill those seats with 3 persons.

A shame, we were so upset and felt their only objective was to pack people as much as they can forgetting well being of their customers (if we wanted to sit on a table of 5 we would understand but here it was clearly too much).

Will never try or go again only because of the doorman not helpful, friendly, correct at all !

個日記得係星期五,放工同男朋友開開心心係灣仔相見不過我由金鐘地鐵站落,一路跟住gps行左一段小斜路 如果無方向感既人會比較難搵第一次嚟灣仔呢頭 周圍都係住宅,或是潮小店,仲有d食野飲野既小店酒吧男朋友一早嚟等位,我地再周圍行下,大概等左total 35-40分鐘,個時係6點半左右入到去坐bar 枱,d位算係幾迫不過氣氛好好 好有意大利小店感覺枱底有個勾比你勾袋我地點左幾樣野除左以下d相仲有個ravioli 唔記得左影。。。但呢個ravioli係最好食 煮得岩岩好,推薦!佢仲有個tasting menu,下次可以再試下

除左以下d相仲有個ravioli 唔記得左影。。。但呢個ravioli係最好食 煮得岩岩好,推薦!

不過比我想像中少黑松露  見人地ig d 相好似好多好大片架嘛
pasta略嫌較腍 食到好重既蛋香 配上白松露醬 好滑

呢到既位距離較窄 你預唔會坐得好舒服

感覺好新鮮 而且真係食到好香蛋味 麵質同出面冇得比
pasta 份量比較少 可以叫多D小食 or 叫多個share

埋單冇加一 所以都比返少少tips 
哩到pasta既味幾特別 有機會都想試埋其他
不過餐廳冇得book 而且地理比較唔方便 
如果太夜分分鐘撲空  要試就要預早d啦

近期Pici大熱,經常在朋友間的IG story都會見到用叉子卷起truffle意粉的短片。一大片一大片的truffle真的很吸引!很想試,但原來不設電話訂座,又據聞平常吃飯時間要等個半鐘⋯⋯ 最終把心一橫,早點吃,下午4:30我們不用等位便入座了。餐廳的設計有一種很溫暖很家庭式的感覺。尤其喜歡那幾扇淺灰色的窗,打開了令小小的空間變得開揚,邊望著街景邊吃本來頗有情調的,但香港實在太熱,還是餐廳入面的枱比較好。三個人點了兩個pasta加一個甜品,下午茶來說其實份量差不多了。食物選擇不算多,但我們還是有點選擇困難症。最後決定要Tagliolini (shallot, white truffle paste, fresh shaved black truffle $160),Orecchiette (Italian sausage, spicy n'duja, cherry tomato $120) 和Tiramisu ($55)。終於吃到傳說中的Tagliolini! 吃第一口時,咦⋯味道很淡,是否期望過高?但再吃其實又不錯,很有蛋香,反而太濃的醬汁會蓋過pasta本身的味道。相反Orec

終於吃到傳說中的Tagliolini! 吃第一口時,咦⋯味道很淡,是否期望過高?但再吃其實又不錯,很有蛋香,反而太濃的醬汁會蓋過pasta本身的味道。相反Orecchiette,醬汁才是主角。一上桌已聞到香味,味道較濃。最好先吃Tagliolini,再吃其他濃味的pasta。

I love how simple Pici's menu is and every time I've gone, they have a different pasta of the day.

Tonight my friend and I tried the "tasting menu" (HKD280 pp) which includes 2 starters, 3 pastas, and one dessert each. THIS IS THE BEST PASTA MARATHON YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE.
if you have the appetite, go for the tasting menu!

Highly recommend the burrata salad, and TBH all their pastas and both their tiramisu and panna cotta have been absolutely delightful.
Go try it! Just make sure you have a friend who gets off early from work so that you guys won't have to wait an hour for dinner

Service speed is definitely not their forte.  I love good pasta and so I tried this with much anticipation.  Their pasta noodle is very good... texture perfect.  For their sauces, I felt it wasn't at the same level.  Some were slightly too salty, others were perhaps a bit too simple. Don't get me wrong, some simple sauces are great... but the execution has to be perfect and theirs was just OK. Sauce + Pasta noodle put together... it is still well above average and decent value. Pasta of the Day – Gnocchetti sardi, sausageragu($140):我地其實只係叫咗一客是日意粉,單都係咁打,服務生卻誤傳來咗兩客,而原本點嗰客「Liquid parmesan ravioloni」就冇出現過。兩碟外觀不同o既意粉相信出自不同廚師手筆
,質感就好夠煙韌,但係兩者o既調味就偏咗少少咸。

「Pici」半開揚式o既間隔令室內空調不甚足夠,加上座位狹窄,XO仔o既汗水簡直係流個不停
。唔知係咪大廚放假呢,意粉菜式實在咸得過火,好少親友介紹o既餐廳出品會咁有問題囉,加上當晚遇著黑面神服務生們,三人由到步到離開都未有一刻覺得享受過,不受歡迎o既程度實難令人回頭

It came with some aged Parmesan cheese too, and portion was generous. When I arrived here during late lunch time, the queue was not as bad as I'd imagined. Walking past during night time however would be a different story as the wait can take an hour or more..

Tagliatelle with Spicy n'duja Sausage, Cherry Tomatoes and Cheese -
Basically the same sauce as their Orecchiette pasta, but served with Tagliatelle paste during lunch time. The fresh pasta was smooth and the appetizing sour and spicy sauce hung onto the pasta strands well, and texture was perfectly cooked too. Look it is a very simple pasta recipe, but sometimes we just want some simple food that's affordable. That's why Pici does well..

Tiramisu in Verrine Glass -
This looked really correct, but unfortunately the taste was less than even average, I was actually quite shocked. There is almost no espresso coffee taste or well soaked savoiardi fingers, and 2ndly the worse fear was also confirmed as it had absolutely no Marsala wine nor even any Kahlua or Rum or coffee liquor at that, this second omission I can understand for a family bistro, but at Pici? This disappointment in dessert is easily fixable if they would listen to customers - but overall this was a dainty little Pasta Bar which served it's purpose and was well priced at HKD $148 for Lunch 3 Courses. It's not meant to be Amazing, although some Pasta Bars in Italy actually do!

A real Italian taste, as Italian this place remind me all my Grandma dishes made by hand with love. Its the 1st in my Italian restaurant top list! Try once and u will go back soon...Meat balls and Tiramisú...OMGThe quality of food also makes the difference...Its a great experience.

service was terrible. manager and maitre D had a bad attitude to accommodating customers and they were very stubborn even thought the restaurant was half empty. this is a service business and you need to deliver good service and good food to keep customers coming back.

The pasta was so delicious that i forgot to take a picture.It was so busy that night we queued for about 45mins.By the time we were seated we were eager to eat and I only remembered to take a picture of the cold cuts.The cold colds were amazing, prepared infront of you.Every slice was uniformly sliced.The salami was waxy and rich in meat fats.
