Pici is probably a resto that has everything on point. Im not the type that take photos before meals and i didnt even intended to write a review. But the experience was just so good i can help but to write a post & thanks the pici wan chai team for making my day.The meal was delicious and the price was reasonable. Pici is probably a resto that has everything on point. Im not the type that take photos before meals and i didnt even intended to write a review. But the experience was just so good i can help but to write a post & thanks the pici wan chai team for making my day.
The meal was delicious and the price was reasonable. I think the portion is more than enough. I had the cold cut, truffle pasta & tiramisu and i was so full when i was walking out. What made the experience extra special was david, the staff who served me. (Let’s hope that i didnt get his name wrong, im sorry if i did🥺) throughout the meal he was super sweet. At the end of the meal, he gave me the coupon with his handwritten note on top. It might be something simple that he did but it just made my day.
I guess this is less of a food review but more like an appreciation for pici team and david. I bet it takes effort to create such a great experience to their customers and great management team to hire sweet staff like david.
Now i know why pici is such a popular resto

前二星期去,一行四人,叫左幾個set tasting menu ,之前聽朋友話好味道。但每款食物咸到盲公都開眼。碟意式雲呑和闊條麵,咸到不能用言語去表達。最不知所為係,在地下有個用過口罩,待應見到都唔去執拾同清潔拖地。餐廳樓面得果一丶二個人,完全無服務可言。而且枱同枱之間又不夠1.5米,洗手間又臭又無水沖廁。枱面無水,待應好似愛理不理,反應食物好咸,點知後幾碟野更咸。叫香擯飮,點知出奇地意外杯酒淡而無味,支香賓好似開左幾日賣唔曬咁。終於差到不得之了。

Down to earth Italian pasta restaurant Simple menu but great food. My all time favourite, truffle taglioni, was so great that you would want more after finished one. Al dente pasta coated with cream sauce and crowned with generous amount of freshly shaved truffles. So yummy

聽聞呢間位於進教圍嘅手工意粉餐廳非常旺場,所以6pm就去試晚餐。 order左個意大利雲吞同肉丸;可能慢工出細貨,上菜就係比較慢,但個雲吞真係好creamy同好煙靭,個肉丸份量唔大但個酸味調教得好好,價錢雖然唔平亦物有所值。

今日食的與其他食客的一樣,慕名而來,與朋友敘舊,特登吃這裡出名的午餐。試過三樣主菜,都是最好味茄汁底意粉tagliatelle puttanesca。中國人對奶油都是看個別喜好及消化能力。甜品不錯,包嘅。

店舖位置比較偏僻,有啲難搵,但係lunch time 依然有唔少人等位,而且冇得make reservation 同要齊人先入得。前菜叫咗 Andres cold cuts同沙律,兩者份量都唔少。而我好欣賞 Andres cold cut 嘅 cherry mozzarella,芝士味唔會好重連同ham 嘅鹹味食好夾。😋😋Main course 叫咗tagliolini truffle。 有好多松露片,黑松露味重而且手工意粉口感好好,但就略嫌整體有啲油。最後甜品叫咗 tiramisu,我最欣賞就係個 tiramisu,好香滑,而且唔會好甜又有咖啡味。Lunch set 冇加一,又有咁多嘢食,而且食物份量都多,所以我覺得整體cp 值好高。

最後甜品叫咗 tiramisu,我最欣賞就係個 tiramisu,好香滑,而且唔會好甜又有咖啡味。

Lunch set 冇加一,又有咁多嘢食,而且食物份量都多,所以我覺得整體cp 值好高。

意粉叫咗三個有黑松露, pappardelle 同 ravioli. 三個都係手工意粉,意粉好彈牙, 好有蛋香味, 個味道其實有啲似粗麵, 淡淡的, 同平時食開嘅意粉好唔同。
黑松露份量勁多而且係切片上, 好香~
Pappardelle 就係意粉配上香濃嘅燉牛肉~
Ravioli入邊係三文魚芝士餡, 呢個比較啱重口味嘅朋友, 我就覺得有啲偏鹹。

Pici is well known for their homemade pastas in HK. I was quite excited to try them! We came in the early evening, started with a glass of wine overlooking the (not so busy) street! Reminds me of those cafes in Paris (or anywhere else in Europe? )Staff here are very friendly, they greeted us with a big smile, asked how your day was, introduced the menu and their wines. Vitello tonnato- This looked and tasted lot like the one at Pirata, but seeing that they belong to the same restaurant group, it might just be the same recipe!

Truffle tagliolini at the back, pasta was firmer in texture than average, which is apparently what al dente is supposed to be like. Most homemade pastas I have tried are firmer than my liking, but that’s okay. The flavor was good, truffle sauce was strong and there was a generous serving on top!

Ravioli- This one was so full of flavor I loved it. It was on the saltier side but I liked it. The cheese, the sauce, and the stuffing go very well together. 
I didn’t take a picture of the desserts, we got one each, a tiramisu and a panna cotta. Honestly, we were so stuffed by this time we didn’t really need dessert. They were good though! I have always loved tiramisu and they do it pretty well too! 

I like this place~ definitely a nice place to chill with a wine and good homemade pasta.

We just had the lasagna and the pecorino and black pepper pasta, and both were markedly average. Frankly, I’m not an incredible cook, and I have made food of the same quality at home, for a tiny fraction of the price. If you are looking for the most average Pasta dishes, which are just barely arguably Italian, come check this place out.Maybe our expectations for some real good authentic Italian food we’re just too high going into this experience, but we are leaving fairly full and just barely sa

Maybe our expectations for some real good authentic Italian food we’re just too high going into this experience, but we are leaving fairly full and just barely satisfied.

The lasagna portion was quite small. The noodles were too thin and did not have a nice chewy mouth-feel. The tomato sauce was quite bland, and it tasted similar to some canned sauce I have eaten before. The pecorino and black pepper pasta was again a small portion. The noodles were nearly as thick as udon noodles (quite strange for this type of dish), and the cheese sauce was extremely salty. Overall, both the lasagna and the pecorino and black pepper pasta were small, over-priced dishes whose taste was really nothing to write home about.

約了友人午聚,去灣仔星街一帶的進教園,一間意大利餐廳,聽講意粉是自家制的。餐廳有兩層,地方比較窄,被編排坐在角落位近廚房,抽空差,時不時傳來餸味,空氣又不流通,比較熱,坐得不舒服。午市套餐包前菜,主菜和甜品,總覺餐後一杯茶或咖啡成本不高,為何沒有呢!前菜選了風乾火腿,有𡁻口, 甘香。主菜是靑口蕃茄意大利粉,青口過老。意大利粉應該是自家出品,有蛋香,有韌度。甜品tiramisu ,味道偏甜,講真麻麻地。

一直都想嘗試PICI的手工意粉今天終於有空光顧~~我們一行2人在中午11:50分進入餐廳,還好不用等位~~各自叫了一個餐再share (頭盤+意粉+甜品 $158無加一)餐前面包~外表脆口,配上黑醋及橄欖油侍應還細心地問我們要唔要再refill~頭盤: Andrea’s Cold Cuts 及 Radicchio Salad~~火腿片及羊奶芝士沙律,十分惹味~份量很大,兩個人share剛剛好~~主菜: Tagliolini truffle (套餐需另加$28)第一次吃一片片的松露手工意粉很有咬口松露味道很香~主菜:  Classic Lasagna (套餐需另加+$10)肉醬千層面,芝士外層香脆,十分惹味~~甜品: Tiramisu及Panna Cotta~~兩款味道也很好,不太甜! 而且份量很足~~食物的份量很足~而且味道出色!!!能一次過嘗試到PICI最出名的菜式~性價比很高~十分推介!!
