Recommended by a friend, I booked this place 3 weeks in advance due to its popularity. Glad I checked out this new busy, cosy French bistro! Felt like I was back in Paris 🇫🇷Very busy on the last evening of Easter holiday, we had to wait outside for 15 minutes even with a booking. Almost every dish was excellent! I especially loved the juicy scallops in the buttery cream sauce with essence of truffle. The yellow wine sauce of the chicken was mouth-watering too, and I couldn't stop dipping my fries in it. It was a perfect combination. However, the chicken itself was a bit on the dry side. The salad had a nice touch of wasabi arugula and olive oil, but the texture of octopus was a bit chewy. It needed some work on the flavors as well. The passionfruit crème brulee was a bit sour for my liking. I prefer the original version.
My friend loved the classic Beef Tartare which was flavorful and well balanced with the egg yolk He could finish that dish on his own!
Dinner for 2 people (with a bottle of wine) was : HK$2132.
Overall, a great place to check out for casual French cuisine. I would love to come back next time to try their steak!
