今晚同友人一行6人黎到銅鑼灣首爾家相聚 友人順便派帖 恭喜晒先 其實首爾家唔算大 但坐得舒服由韓籍老闆娘主理廚房 老闆通常負責店面店舖內有韓籍店員姐姐 唔使擔心溝通唔到 仲有香港店員既。好啦講返野食先 因為暫時未能提供含酒精飲品(問左老闆 3月就可以供應啦 ) 所以唔韓燒住啦叫左石頭鍋飯有少少飯焦 有好多菜 健康又好食 牛肋骨煲有辣同唔辣, 今次試下辣味先,牛肋骨同d蘿蔔全部入晒味又夠唸好好味!!唯一不足係面頭多左d油啦.同行朋友心思思想叫多個但又怕叫太多野食所以最終都係冇叫到.部隊鍋料都係不外乎午餐肉腸仔芝士公仔面年糕泡菜茄汁豆,同埋唔算好辣,我地幾個人叫左個細既岩岩好,我仲飲左好多湯.出得黎食飯 乜鬼卡路里都唔諗啦紫菜包飯叫左2份牛肉口味 唔錯!海鮮煎餅個底如果可以再脆身d就好啦 !好似係海鮮大醬湯 唔食得辣既朋友可以叫呢個湯 有跟飯 學韓國人咁倒埋d飯落去 清清地唔覺唔覺就食晒碗飯lu.另外仲叫左細碟炸雞 因為太餓一上就掛住食唔記得影相 炸雞炸到乾身但仲好juicy 外面仲有一層甜甜地既醬 忍唔住一啖接一啖. 哎呀!有啤酒就好啦!!!

好似係海鮮大醬湯 唔食得辣既朋友可以叫呢個湯 有跟飯 學韓國人咁倒埋d飯落去 清清地唔覺唔覺就食晒碗飯lu.

另外仲叫左細碟炸雞 因為太餓一上就掛住食唔記得影相 炸雞炸到乾身但仲好juicy 外面仲有一層甜甜地既醬 忍唔住一啖接一啖. 哎呀!有啤酒就好啦!!!

As everybody awares that there's a craze for korean stuffs in HK now.  So many peoples would like to have korean fried chicken and beer.  Samiliarly, we would like to have some fried chicken and beer.  Knowing that this restaurant offers fried chicken and also some other popular korean dishes, so we give it a go.we made reservation via the Tablemap.  The waiter did not call for reconfirmation until 6:xxpm on that day.  This is rather weird.  Then the waiter said that we are limited to dine for 1

As everybody awares that there's a craze for korean stuffs in HK now.  So many peoples would like to have korean fried chicken and beer.  Samiliarly, we would like to have some fried chicken and beer.  Knowing that this restaurant offers fried chicken and also some other popular korean dishes, so we give it a go.

we made reservation via the Tablemap.  The waiter did not call for reconfirmation until 6:xxpm on that day.  This is rather weird.  Then the waiter said that we are limited to dine for 1.5 hours.  OMG, i was shocked.  if i knew this earlier on, I would have changed my mind and go somewhere else as there's neverending talking with my friend and also why rush for dinner??

We arrived there.  That restaurant was rather small in size.  The decor does not look as if it is a newly renovated premises.  Rather a bit worn out and very 'tea-cafe' look. 

When we ordered our dishes, we were told by the korean waitress that fried chicken is sold out!  We were totally shocked and disappointed.  Actually, we dont mind the price, the friend chicken is charged at $148 per dishes (in such setting!).  Then later made further enquiry, it was just that they were running out of the chicken sauce.  How come??!!

Ok, then we ordered a beef rib pot ($108), a fried rice pudding ($68) and a beef maki ($68). 

First, came those preserved veggies dishes.  OMG, there's just 4 tiny dishes of them!!  So disappointing!  None of them are impressive.  Even the kimchi is not okay!!

When the beef rib pot arrived, we were also shocked.  It's just 1/3 full!!  That means that there was just a few pieces of boneless ribs and TWO Thin slices of raddish and two tiny pieces of carrots.  That's it.  I would agree that the rib is tasty.  However, with such price, can they provide a bit more??

The fried rice pudding also came as a shock.  It is served with a hotplate (supposed to be), but we dont feel it's hot at all.  The portion is so small.  The spicy sauce is okay, but the rice pudding is just a bit undercook, that means that it's too chewy on the inside.

The portion of the beef maki is alright.  However, the beef is tasteless at all.  This makes me miss the lovely maki of schoolfood so much!!!!

All in all, we would patron this restaurant again.  Even if we need to queue, we would prefer to try those authentic restaurants at the TST.  At least you get what you pay.
Besides, it is really wishful thinking that this restaurant can have second round of customers at night.  Location-wise, it is really at a quiet end of CWB and service-wise, i dont think people who patroned it would recommend it to anybody.  It is regrettable that no photo has been taken on those dishes (so you can imagine how bad they are!!), or else you would see it yourself on how the portion is.  Besides, the Korean Manager seems rather rude.

有朋自遠方來, 在沒有太多時間準備下, 誤打誤撞地找到這家全新的韓國餐廳 - 首爾家。首爾家位於銅鑼灣邊寧頓街的全新酒店隆堡柏寧頓 (Hotel Pennington by Rhombus) 內, 跟另外兩家同屬新餐廳的 Casa Pennington 和 Wheatfield Kitchen 為鄰, 三家餐廳共用一台跟酒店範圍分開的獨立升降機進出, 看來跟酒店沒有甚麼關係, 就算翻查酒店官方網頁, 也找不到三家餐廳的資料, 相信是獨立運作的店子。餐廳面積不大, 仍然可以用「小店」來形容, 裝潢是一貫普通食店格局, 感覺親民。來到店子, 便由一位韓籍女店員招呼, 雖然不太熱情, 至少夠地道。首先點選了炆牛肋骨 ($108), 以滿足席間幾位「牛魔王」, 窩子體積不小, 食物份量也屬大堆頭, 蘿蔔、紅蘿蔔、冬菇、栗子等配料統統都有。主角牛肋骨是個驚喜, 每件體積甚大, 而且非常厚身, 肉質卻能保持鬆化; 味道方面, 炆得入味, 鹹甜比例平均, 是相當具水準的一個版本。既然炆得入味, 可想而知其醬汁的質素, 席間朋友不斷添加到所附送的白飯來吃, 非常盡興。看見桌上「預設」的爐具, 也小試一

主角牛肋骨是個驚喜, 每件體積甚大, 而且非常厚身, 肉質卻能保持鬆化; 味道方面, 炆得入味, 鹹甜比例平均, 是相當具水準的一個版本。

既然炆得入味, 可想而知其醬汁的質素, 席間朋友不斷添加到所附送的白飯來吃, 非常盡興。

看見桌上「預設」的爐具, 也小試一點韓燒, 點選了一客 醃牛肋條肉 ($158), 份量合乎預期, 質素甚佳, 只略嫌切得有點不平均, 有些是薄片, 有些是厚條狀, 燒起來有一點難度。

這裡的醬料也相當認真, 其中以中間的鹽油組合最具驚喜, 無論鹹味和香味均比一般來得強, 增添燒肉的惹味。

近期大熱的韓式炸雞, 並不是這裡的主打項目, 只有一款甜酸炸雞供應, 並不像其他美式或韓式炸雞店般以斬件形式送上, 分為小($58/12件) 和大($78/18件), 價錢相宜得多, 二人來到也不用擔心吃不完。 

還以為這些會是「雞粒」, 想不到體積甚大, 至少不是一兩口可以吃得完, 每件均炸得香脆和乾身, 沒有多餘的油份, 卻仍保留一些肉汁; 甜酸醬是個驚喜, 廚師下得不吝嗇, 有點「拔絲」感覺, 甜酸度相當均勻, 非常惹味, 雖然質素未及李家或 Fairyland 等韓式炸雞專門店, 卻因價錢的關係, 性價比大增。

店子還是剛剛開業, 因此平日晚餐時間也只是半滿, 環境尚算舒適, 加上質素不錯的美食, 是現時銅鑼灣區一個不錯的相宜晚餐選擇。
