雖然不是大大大日子... 不過想慶祝一下. 朋友帶我到了這兒.之前從未從未聽過這間餐廳, 不過外面望已經很grand 了..進去, 侍應帶我們上二樓, 一條彎彎的木樓梯.. 很典雅的.. 我們坐sofa, 面向餐廳. 侍應給了我們餐牌, 再推了一車的海鮮來介紹了一會. 我們選了一個3 courses & 一個4 courses, 叫了starter - 鵝肝soup - clam soupmain course - 牛扒, 羊扒之後上包, 不過這兒的包好像不及cova 的好吃. 隔了一會... 上starter & soup.. 差不多每一個dish 都會係你面前煮一煮.... 好像剛煮好的.鵝肝- 好滑好軟... 感覺唔錯.clam soup - 好好味, clam 好大隻main course - 可能期望太大, 反而覺得main course 有點普通, 不過配菜則不錯. desert - 椰汁西米布甸.. 差. 橙酒疏乎厘... 好好, 面很脆, 裡面很軟... overall, 好滿意... 若果照價錢的比例, 相信40% for food, 60

隔了一會... 上starter & soup..
差不多每一個dish 都會係你面前煮一煮.... 好像剛煮好的.
鵝肝- 好滑好軟... 感覺唔錯.
clam soup - 好好味, clam 好大隻
main course - 可能期望太大, 反而覺得main course 有點普通, 不過配菜則不錯.
desert - 椰汁西米布甸.. 差.
橙酒疏乎厘... 好好, 面很脆, 裡面很軟...

overall, 好滿意... 若果照價錢的比例, 相信40% for food, 60% on service and environment. 一個很特別很特別的地方...^^..

煙肉什菜番茄湯: 8分, 係面前即場加熱, 仲幫我們分兩碗上. 番茄湯都係幾濃郁的, 或許無龍蝦湯般出色, 但係都相當不俗.

燒牛柳鮮鵝肝汁: 5分, 燒牛柳認真麻麻, 牛肉太老了, 肉質一般, 幾鞋口的, 咬開有難度. 即場做的鮮鵝肝汁無乜鵝肝味, 應該講係無乜味道, 淡淡的.

蒙古式京蔥羊柳配紅糙飯: 5分, 羊柳的肉質都係一般, 無騷味, 個蒙古汁感覺上怪怪的, 同京蔥不匹配. 再加上紅糙飯, 更加不倫不類. 始終係西餐廳吃這味菜好像不太適合.

焦糖吉士: 6分, 焦糖味太過濃, 又比較甜.

拿破崙蛋糕: 7分, 招牌的甜品, 說真的, 好像Mimosa比這裡出色不少. 酥皮唔係好脆, 吉士又甜了點, 加上雪得過凍, 整體感覺又不算很好.

咖啡: 8分, 香濃的咖啡, 加上兩粒薄荷朱古力雪糕結尾, 一冷一熱, 不錯.

食物整體水準不太好, 不知晚市的水準會否大不同. 服務就相當好, 之後係樓下影相都對我們好好態度. 環境係一流的. 價錢就合理.

當來見識一次都好, 但又真係無乜再來的誘因.

我又唔使求婚了.

日前與先生到Amigo慶祝。當晚兩人都order了set dinner,每一樣食品都很稱心。頭盤分別點了熱門的煎鵝肝及蟹肉沙律。先生非常欣賞入口即溶的鵝肝。主菜那個小龍蝦意粉很不俗,意粉硬度適中,吸了(估計是海鮮湯)湯的味道。先生點的主菜是牛柳,獲他大讚五成的生熟煎得剛好。甜品是凍的燉旦及souflet。不得不讚是服務的確一流。待應有禮待人,招呼真的很周到及窩心,先生預先交待了慶祝結婚紀念,完餐後,有待應推出心型的旦糕,也替我們拍了即映即有照片。女士們還獲送贈amigo tag的紅玫瑰一支。當然不少得刻了訂位人士的名稱在上的小memo pad。值得一提,是必定要留意餐具及餐廳擺設。覺得單是服務一項,已完完全全值回票價。值得一去再去。還有,感謝當晚招呼的靚仔待應。為整個晚餐生色不少。哈。

I heard about this restaurant for a long time, finally got the chance to visit. The decoration is very special, the waiters were all in formal dressing with white gloves...Comparing to all the modern restaurants, Amigo does have its selling point, finally understand why so many couples celebrate their anniversary in here.We order two set dinners with 3 courses each, a glass of wine and a side dish.Foie gras and beef are strongly recommended!! Will definitely visit again!

早兩天訂了星期六食晏, 因為唔熟路係跑馬地兜了半個鐘, 到達時巳一點半有多. 稔住又落雨又遲到想比佢地幫我泊車(一個鐘$40, 好貴下), 點知等了一陣都冇人出門口招呼我地, 就索性自己去了雲地利道錶位度泊, 慳返唔少. 行返落去到餐廳巳經搭九. 門口的服務員開門招呼我們進內, 上一層樓梯, 陳設和裝修很grand, 但亦頗舊. 上層都坐滿了人. 帶位人員帶領我們去到一張靠窗的二人檯坐下. 叫了兩份Luncheon. 附近的檯子有的是一大班朋友的, 也有一對對情侶的, 談笑的, 談情的, 大家也有著各自的空間. 前菜來了, 老婆是炸磨菇, 我的是三文魚, 兩款前菜以我的賣相為佳, 把三又魚扎成一條魚兒的樣子. 味道亦是我的為佳. 湯是牛尾湯, 很蘇, 我飲了一半就再飲不下去, 著服務員拿走了,很難頂. 主菜老婆要了羊扒, 我就要了牛扒. 羊扒味道還可以, 就不算是高級的出品. 我的牛扒呢? 送上來是是一pat茄漿芝士鋪面的一塊肉,冇汁冇伴菜, 賣相很差. 我左睇右睇呢塊都冇理由係牛肉, 但因為剛才牛尾湯的教訓, 話比我知呢家店子整牛可能唔係好得, 所以主菜就算黎錯亦冇所謂了. 點知呢塊

Finally, went to Amigo to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary with my hubby ^.^The atmosphere is romantic & the decoration is old & classic.Food is good... We had a mini Napoleon cake for our anniversary, altho I was very full, it is very crispy & not so sweet. We took a photo and they put it on Amigo photo frame & they gave me a red rose with a mini Amigo tag. Their live band came to our table & sang for us, the female singer was holding & shaking a lemon while she was singing…so funny. Its a good

Finally, went to Amigo to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary with my hubby ^.^

Food is good... We had a mini Napoleon cake for our anniversary, altho I was very full, it is very crispy & not so sweet. We took a photo and they put it on Amigo photo frame & they gave me a red rose with a mini Amigo tag. Their live band came to our table & sang for us, the female singer was holding & shaking a lemon while she was singing…so funny. Its a good place for celebration on special day. There were 2 couples celebrating their anniversary, another 4 or even more (OMG!) for birthday and there was a table just behind us - one guy proposed to his girl friend to marry him…so romantic.
Service is excellent and waiters are nice and careful. We had a good time there, although the place is so noisy.

restaurants to go to when you really want to feel pampered.Impeccable service, perhaps a bit "stuffed" for some, but hey, it is much better than those wannabes.Haven't had a bad meal there yet, good wine selection, excellent service. Best of all, chance of you running into your next door neightbor is quite low.

Have heard about this restaurant for ages. It has been commended by too many people but the price was a major concern. Finally my gf and I decided to go there for lunch. Set lunch only costs $200 each, with one starter, main course, dessert, a glass of wine and coffee. What a bargain! From the service to the food, all were excellent. 我個次生日...同情人黎左呢度食....service好好....環境好好...不過有d扮晒野既有錢人係附近...成日眼啤啤!!勁討厭!d食物味道好好....但係就唔係好夠熱....仲希係呢度一晚聽十幾次生日歌....有d煩!!!haha

Personally , I like the restarant called Amigo Amigo is a refreshing memory for me, I like it equal to the feeling of loving a girl in 1997 , equal to Hong Kong in 1997. Amigo is a refreshing memory for me, I like it equal to the feeling of loving a girl in 1997 , equal to Hong Kong in 1997.
Why?
Searching my memory, I found that the most delicious french style food and most expensive restaurant several years ago is Amigo/ Hugo/ and some in different famous hotels
Nowaday , it is changed
Extraordinary expensive (EE) restaurant that either selling style / location/ interior design/ fame of cook/ star count of Michellin bank out in everywhere in Hong Kong.
Taste might be eyecatching in these EE restaurant, but for while, not for life
Amigo still serving us silently like an old mother. I said she might not be to one providing the most enlightening / interesting presentation of food like Nobu; she might be presenting a perfect traditional food as Pertus. She serve us with most fresh and heartful food
From every old aged waiter to every visible decoration is full of feeling from the deepest place of the owner of the restaurant. I guess and I felt that night

If one have only a lover that for life, then I'll suggest you to invite her to this restaurant and not the casual girlfriend!

Well. Since Amigo is a famous resturant, I was hoping to go there for a long long time. However, I must have put too much hope in this place, the food and the overall impression is just not as I expected. The price is high but yet the food quailty just doesn't worth it. I had an Onion soup and Goose liver with Steak. Overall, the taste is below average, the food is served cold and their management is poor.

前菜的沙律已驚喜萬分:沙律是Iceburg Lettuce、Rocket Leaves 同Beetroot 加vinaigrette 組成,以甜豆絲做topping,十分清新;伴食的「雜肉」原是最沒興趣的,但因肉(風乾牛肉、雞肉、Parma Ham...)實在處理得太好,竟然有點濕潤,也不太鹹,還有點鹹鮮,邊吃邊暗暗讚賞。

主菜是是在您面前弄的Cod Fish in Russian Sauce:俄羅斯汁調的味道,有點像千島汁之餘,有酸瓜、黑檻欖之餘,色澤柔和creamy,像龍蝦湯汁,也是精華;雖然鱈魚扒不是一等一的貨色,但也不是一叉即散的貨色- 用fish knife 輕巧地一撥即可。

甜品是心醉的Napoleon:拿破崙也半是千層,一叉即散,很鬆軟,也酥脆...奶油也很「奶油」,不是稀稀的,也不是厚厚的,但鮮忌廉味重...不論食力、刀法何等深厚,也得以羹助食- 不單助以吃酥酥,也助以清光那些誘人的忌廉。

隨Extra-hot Decaf(無特別request)而來的,是三顆精美的,咱家製的Chocolate-coated Peppermint Ice-cream Ball,清光。

又是一個良辰美景。

went to amigo lastnite with my gf for dinner, i was alitle bit over estimated about the place, food and service. first the place was nice not as so romantic as i thought, maybe the light was too bright and the surrounding was noisy.. secondly, the food was i couldn't say they were stunning that i must be back again for it, i could only say it was good. we had their mushroom salad for starter, then lobster bist and she had the escargot i had the foiegras, for main course i had the fish with pama

went to amigo lastnite with my gf for dinner, i was alitle bit over estimated about the place, food and service. first the place was nice not as so romantic as i thought, maybe the light was too bright and the surrounding was noisy.. secondly, the food was i couldn't say they were stunning that i must be back again for it, i could only say it was good. we had their mushroom salad for starter, then lobster bist and she had the escargot i had the foiegras, for main course i had the fish with pama ham rapped with baked oyster and she had the roasted chicken. plus a bottle of red wine and for dessert we had their nepolian cake to share. finally i want to talk about their service, most of the waiters were only polite knew the proceedures of serving food but they were lacking smiles on their faces, sincereness and careness was not enough and a bit cold, if you know what i mean. there was a waiter only him thanks to mr. gong it was very nice of him for taking tons of pics for us around the resturant. anyways, the bill came up to $2035, over all my exprience at amigo was alright. i think i won't be back again cos for this price range i think i can get better else where. but what can i say, this is hk can't expect too much on the service..
