因著少年食神既介紹上星期日過開灣仔就專登搵下呢間華南粉麵果然名不虛傳D野食真係OK兩公婆每人一碗粉一碗淨雲吞一碟油菜加飲品埋單百二蚊雖然比其他粉麵鋪貴D但品質真係好湯底又夠味我食既雙丸米粒牛丸完全就係我細時係黃大仙下邨地下粉麵鋪所食既牛丸一樣味而家真係冇乜邊幾間做得到 !!臨走再叫多件奶醬多 又係好正 !!

淨魚蛋片頭 - 原本唸住要淨片頭, 但佢話冇咁多所以加埋魚蛋, 魚蛋片頭反而一般, 冇乜特別!
埋單都成八十幾蚊, $26一碗確實好貴! 但會再幫襯...

The enviornment inside is noisy and dirty and the decor is old.I ordered beef brisket with rice noodle and extra veggies.Served quick and the food is still hot. The beef brisket is tough and chewy. I do not want to finish all the brisket for the first time. Besides, the amount of the extra veggies is small.For $32 in such the environment and food,It is not worth it at all.

同事想搞搞新意思, 所以呢個下晝唔食飯去食粉麵. 佢仲話呢間華南好出名, 不妨一試..睇下個餐牌, d粉麵都幾貴架喎, 魚蛋麵都要24蚊, 牛什牛腩要26蚊, 如果坑腩仲要28蚊添... 淨腩又要60蚊.. 真係咁好味???於是就叫左個普通牛腩河, 睇下佢有幾得.... 可惜結果令人失望, 牛腩有5-6件, 賣相ok, 入口就好似d煲湯豬肉(咁鞋), 好似食柴皮咁.. 好普通姐, 問題係唔值咁貴囉, 可能為左慳果兩蚊唔試坑腩就有出事o既結果喇.. 如果仲飲埋野, 仲要成40蚊埋單.... 所以慳慳地算了...

10pm跟朋友來這裡共進消夜. 10點還是有挺多人進進出出的, 有個服務員在生動地描述隔離街發生的街頭打鬥事件, 有些食客都靜下來挺他講故事. 他講得很開心. 得到了少來的attention.食物:牛丸+瘦牛腩米線: 牛丸很入味, 很實, 不是太單牙, 不過這是好的, 因為牛丸是不應該單牙的,他不是魚蛋。丸裡面有汁,丸進了口裡面,you should suck on it, and all the flavours/juices will come out. 牛腩我要瘦的,他真的給了我瘦的,很好。費事用文字形容他啦,你自己去嘗嘗吧!總之就很好吃。 我吃掉了整碗。湯底:喝得出是煮了很久的東西,落足料,還有點藥膳味道呢。服務態度出奇地好!

在附近看了一回,見到此店的人流比附近的店子多出很多,所以來試一碗看看質素如何。在這兒吃粉,可算是高消費,要三十多元才有一碗兩送的,好彩份量不細,味道也好,吃一次半次也不錯。要了一碗牛腩牛筋河,送比想像中來得多。牛腩要了牛坑腩,看上去很靚,咬下去軟淋,不會黏牙,不錯。牛筋膠質高,咬下去夠‘啜’口,個人幾喜歡的。可能最近吃得多榮記的濃牛湯底,比較來說是清一點,不過也是廷好飲的。在此不要期望環境會好,其實大家也是快速地吃一餐,最重要是哥仔醒醒目目和食物有水準,我就會俾笑臉。

I think I've been to this place more than 100 times. It opens till very late which is very convenient. Food is always good. I love the soup which is strong and the chili oil which is hot! Many people concentrate on the beef but in fact the squid ball is also exceptional. It has a very good taste and the texture is really great!One important point to note though::: they are closed quite often. For CNY, they might be closed for 2 weeks. For Easter, it could be 4 days. For Mid-Autumn Festi

One important point to note though::: they are closed quite often. For CNY, they might be closed for 2 weeks. For Easter, it could be 4 days. For Mid-Autumn Festival, it could be another 3 days. And sometimes they close on Sunday too.

The only minor thing they should improve on is the milk tea. It is not bad at all, but definitely not smooth enough for me personally.

Wan Chai to me is like the Kowloon City of the Hong Kong Island, full of various cuisines and local food establishments. There are many hidden gems in this neighborhood and all you have to do is to explore in the name of good food! Wah Lam Noodle Restaurant 華南粉麵茶餐廳 has been in the neighborhood for while and it is well known for this Fish Balls, Beef Brisket & Beef Entails. Don't expect comfortable seats or great decor because you will find none of the above. What you will find is a homely and down-to-earth environment with a neighborhood joint atmosphere that can be as comforting as an upscale establishment depending on the occasion and your mood at the time. If you are lucky enough you may find one of two diners with one of their legs up on the stool!

I ordered flat rice noodle with Beef Brisket, Fish Balls and Beef Balls plus a dish of lettuce and a bottle of coke.The rice noodle was smooth and slightly chewy as well. Alright, plenty of MSG but a regular dose of MSG would not be that harmful right?

I have always been surprised by people who spend hundreds of dollars eating noodles and congee in hotels. If you want a hot bowl of noodle with wonton, shui gao or beef brisket, why not head for Wah Lam? It is a hidden gem in the shabby Wan Chai district. I have always been surprised by people who spend hundreds of dollars eating noodles and congee in hotels.

If you want a hot bowl of noodle with wonton, shui gao or beef brisket, why not head for Wah Lam? It is a hidden gem in the shabby Wan Chai district. I went there last month and was greeted by a friendly "For Kai" (waiter) and a big, rewarding bowl of wonton noodle. The noodle is good, fresh, and slightly bouncy while the soup base is not MSG-formulated. Beef brisket and fish balls are also good. While the price is a bit higher than other high street noodle shops that are selling dirt cheap wonton noodle, Wah Lam offers you Cantonese noodle cooked (though not necessarily served) with a heart. No wonder this restaurant has so many fans of Wah Lam.

To decorate this restaurant into a fake posh or up-market eat-out would do injustice to its banal yet friendly atmosphere. So next time don't eat wonton noodle in hotels for a rip-off price. A noodle from this bland but hearty noodle shop would remind you of how Cantonese noodle should be cooked and served.

我平時去茶記會婉拒大大碗嘅味精(而家興叫增味劑 E621 - 雞粉眾多化學成份之一)例湯, 食湯粉唔會飲埋D湯, 不過今日例外叫咗碗牛墨丸河, 個湯無化學增味劑污染 -- 正 !!! 真味靓湯飲晒成碗, 嘩, 一D都唔口渴 !!! 堅呀!牛丸: 雖然唔會彈, 但幾新鮮, 有肉味, Juicy, 只是咸了一 d d (個人口味而已)墨丸: 真材實料, 好味, 唔似其他貨仔得味精同一團粉, 唔會死咸幫襯過幾次, 又有買過丸回家煮, 可能唔係繁忙時間, D伙計哥哥態度OK喎, 暫時未遇過無理對待, 只係見過老闆喝伙計嘢食有咁嘅堅持, 難得! 欣賞! 辛苦背後, "牛"脾氣嗎? 有也不難理解雖然$30, 但大大碗湯粉, 四牛三墨丸, 算係咁!

呢間1樓喺門口收錢嗰個女人嘅態度勁差. 管住啲客坐邊坐邊, 有空位, 又唔比客坐, 要啲客坐到迫一迫. 又要齊人先比坐, 差一個人未到都唔比入, 要等齊先坐得, 呢間真巴閉, 人地啲餐廳都係一半齊人可以入啦!.有次食完走啦! 跟住又大聲叫未比錢, 唔係一定行第一個要比錢, 後面同事比錢呀嘛, 一啲禮貌都無, 咁樣對啲客人.咁嘅服務態度, 向劉華學吓嘢啦!

由10年前起已經幫嚫華南, 雖然只會係路經灣仔既時侯先會幫嚫, 但係覺得港島區好食既滷水牛腩唔多, 華南可以算係好既一間. 雖然比起中環水記, 波記, 貴咗30%但係都係得可以接受. 但係今次既經歷相信我伯唔會再"光顧"華南啦. 我order咗一碗"崩沙腩米加菜", 個伙計比咗張$33既單我, 我已經有d奇怪點解會比平常貴咗3蚊呢???? 而我既同我order送黎時d牛腩只可以用"溶溶爛爛"黎形容, 而另外$6蚊加既菜更加不知所謂! 到我去counter畀錢既時候, 問咗個平頭鬍鬚老板一句點解我個"崩沙腩"貴咗3蚊? 個老板即刻聲大大咁同我講, 你唔知點解? 我門口已經大大隻字寫住"崩沙腩加3蚊" 我頭先聽住你叫o家, 你唔知? 我即係呆咗......我只係問一問你啫, 碗粉係我真金白銀幫嚫你而唔係你免費請我食架! 個老板同佢老婆已經出哂名惡死& "zero service" &成日鬧d伙計. 佢接受飲食男女訪問時話佢係sell食物而唔係sell service &而家d人唔識欣賞佢d食物...etc. 一碗$24蚊既牛腩河可能比起"`九記"還差一點點, 但係比起同區既潮興, 桃園等已

由10年前起已經幫嚫華南, 雖然只會係路經灣仔既時侯先會幫嚫, 但係覺得港島區好食既滷水牛腩唔多, 華南可以算係好既一間. 雖然比起中環水記, 波記, 貴咗30%但係都係得可以接受. 但係今次既經歷相信我伯唔會再"光顧"華南啦. 我order咗一碗"崩沙腩米加菜", 個伙計比咗張$33既單我, 我已經有d奇怪點解會比平常貴咗3蚊呢???? 而我既同我order送黎時d牛腩只可以用"溶溶爛爛"黎形容, 而另外$6蚊加既菜更加不知所謂! 到我去counter畀錢既時候, 問咗個平頭鬍鬚老板一句點解我個"崩沙腩"貴咗3蚊? 個老板即刻聲大大咁同我講, 你唔知點解? 我門口已經大大隻字寫住"崩沙腩加3蚊" 我頭先聽住你叫o家, 你唔知? 我即係呆咗......我只係問一問你啫, 碗粉係我真金白銀幫嚫你而唔係你免費請我食架! 個老板同佢老婆已經出哂名惡死& "zero service" &成日鬧d伙計. 佢接受飲食男女訪問時話佢係sell食物而唔係sell service &而家d人唔識欣賞佢d食物...etc. 一碗$24蚊既牛腩河可能比起"`九記"還差一點點, 但係比起同區既潮興, 桃園等已經貴上$5 -$8不等. 我想同老板講一句, 比你做得好既大有人在, 中環水記已經好過你, 仲有安利水準雖然已經下降, 但service已經over你很多很多. 麻煩老板你自己檢討o下乜嘢係"尊重"同"禮貌", 從以前lunch hour坐滿人到而家既情況已經係一個warning, 你咁既態度對d顧客同伙計, 難到灣仔冇其他choice嗎? 我實在諗唔到再幫嚫你既理由囉.........
