Doraya 幾年前剛開張時已幫襯,後來更成為至愛食店,但奇怪從未為其寫食評。今日中午本打算去森壽司,但休息,只好改去Doraya。取車時,後面的車正被抄牌,逃過一劫,一於食餐好的賀一賀。平日到此,都是點$100左右的魚生飯,今日試試其他。岩鹽中拖羅吞拿魚飯定食($188) - 新出品,侍應說不需落豉油,因會提供岩鹽。上枱時,有一大塊玫瑰鹽送上,自己落手磨。定食跟一般的吞拿魚蓉或吞拿魚扒一樣,只不過換上中拖羅。這裏的吞拿魚質素無須多說,但我覺得加鹽不及落豉油好味。豉油、中拖羅加上優質Wasabi,Yummy!但坦白說,一般的吞拿魚蓉或吞拿魚扒已很好味,除非你對拖羅情有獨鍾,否則前二者已是很好的選擇。海膽三文魚子飯定食($175) - 因其註明是北海道海膽才會嘗試。真的有北海道海膽的鮮甜味,三文魚子就一般,建議可選海膽併魚蓉或淨海膽。這裏的吞拿魚、日本米、Wasabi 都是頂級的,價錢亦相宜。要吃吞拿魚,這裏是首選。

今日我放假就和男朋友去食飯....但有個朋友提議來這間定食...(doraya)名都不名點讀.....不過就吞拿魚專門店....所以去一下都無妨....但我並不是太喜歡吃魚生飯.....但也有熟食搭配.......晚上9點多就去到....開始還以為好大間....入去時只覺得好迫...因為坐的是最入一張6個位置的...排坐令到轉身都難....不過最氣我不是只是迫....我在入來時聽見廚房那邊傳來一些粗口而且好像在批評我們人客......立即有點想走人......到坐好後又有另外兩位小姐入來...廚房那邊又一些不好d說話大聲傳出.....好清楚有句....(xxx..個樣一d都唔得...又大象腿..)咁樣批評來食野的客人.....真係好過份...之後我男友叫了個叫香蔥魚蓉飯....我就只是叫了個熱面.....快快食完便趕快埋單走人....一路食一路有女性進入就會有說話傳出....愈聽愈過分....一d禮貌都沒有...真是不會有下次.....每個客進來食野都要給人批評的店....真係令人不悅....我一定不會玥來這間.....我已經跟我那位朋友也說過此事.....她說那下次也不要來這間...

上完堂就走左去附近此店食魚生飯, 我叫左吞拿魚飯, 友人叫左什錦魚生飯. 成個set都包左一客2件既甜蛋, 一客海帶沙律, 一個miso湯....特別喜歡到此店食魚生飯, 因為佢地d魚生真係叫做新鮮, 特別係tuna, 平時係壽司店好少叫tuna食,因為覺得麻麻地唔算好味, 但來到此店我一定會叫tuna飯食. 不過此店地方真係超細, 食野真係食得好唔舒服.香港地方真係寸金呎土...

見到咁多食評, 一路都心思思想去呢間魚生飯去到當然要試下佢地既招牌香蔥伴藍鰭吞拿魚腩蓉飯定食另外再叫左三文魚壽司同雞翼藍鰭吞拿魚腩蓉飯 - 新鮮不過d飯比較濕左d厚燒玉子 - 老左d三文魚壽司 - 一般雞翼 - 好脆呀下次想食魚生飯, 可以黎呢度試下~!!!

因為上次左一間豪裝但超唔好食刺身飯, 心靈上好唔開心, 我呢幾日係咁在 openrice 勁search 找多一些日本餐廳去試下,終於昨晚食到似樣的刺身飯了~呢間餐廳沒有豪裝, 只係似0的細細 local 店, 不過都幾多人等位, 個個都係迫迫地坐埋一切的~ 唔洗點等, 0的刺身飯就來~1)海膽飯 ($120) – 佢地比的海膽係中至中大size 的海膽, 份量雖然唔夠日本食刺身飯店的多, 但都算都ok 多, 入口就覺得好新鮮, 完全無聲味, 正到爆~2)什錦海鮮粒粒飯 ($98) – 有三文魚, 吞拿魚, 甜蛋, 青瓜, 池魚…etc 0的魚生好新鮮,碗刺身飯唔係好大碗, 一氣就食哂成個飯了, 正呀~ 3)每個set 都會有個老老地的甜蛋, 不過好好食, 應該係佢地自家製~ Miso soup 係ok 的~ 不過個前菜(酸酸地的昆布) 就麻麻地 lu~4)另外叫左壽司, 三文魚/燒三文魚壽司 ($5/件) – 一段肥美, ok 好味, 又平~5)舌拿魚腩壽司($28/件) – 個樣好靚, 不過未可入口即溶樓面的waitress 都很好, 不時同你添茶, 食完呢餐飯, 成個人開心哂,

上星期六接男友大人放工,大家一心諗住去板前壽司食晏,點知中途行經Doraya...大人把持不住要食呢間....放棄佢至愛嘅壽司。入到去....每張枱都有人....唉...以為要搭枱...好彩咁啱有一枱埋單....就立刻坐低,打開個餐牌...兩個人都迷咗一陣...唔知叫咩好,最後我同大人經過一輪拉鋸戰....又order咗藍鰭吞拿魚扒定食-大人嘅,香蔥吞拿魚蓉飯定食(其實本應想叫海膽三文魚籽飯定食...可惜佢哋話冇海膽喎),再加多四件壽司,分別係三文魚籽x2、拖羅toro、火炙三文魚腩壽司。每個定食有都一份漬物、麵豉湯同玉子,我個香蔥吞拿魚蓉飯定食先嚟,一望落去,個魚蓉份量好似咁少嘅,唉....算啦...加啲吞拿魚飯醬油撈起佢啦,第一啖當然俾大人啦....嘩~佢一副滿意嘅樣同我講好味,梗係啦我好大匙魚蓉一嘢遞俾佢.....不過講真...除咗魚蓉份量又真係少咗啲....味道同鮮味...加油香..真係唔錯...但係未算係最好..我俾85分。而大人個藍鰭吞拿魚扒定食就有大概十片吞拿魚,肥美同普通魚生片各佔一半,雖然肥美魚質唔算入口即溶,不過都油香十足,但係大人話我個香蔥吞拿魚蓉飯好味啲喎。三文

三文魚籽壽司size就比平時食嗰啲細件、三文魚籽食得出粒粒粒都好飽滿同新鮮,拖羅toro壽司大人食得好滿足、相信都唔錯,火炙三文魚腩壽司好肥美,不過略微熟咗啲。
食物方面整體係中上,而服務都好ok,事源我同大人一路食一路流汗,店內好似冇開冷氣,當日室外溫度都成二十度以上,不過我哋同店員表示好熱時佢哋都好有heart咁開大個冷氣。

This small restaurant is definitely one of the best places I’ve been to in Hong Kong for Donburi. You can get other Japanese food here too, but their speciality seems to be tuna dishes such as negitoro (minced tuna over rice) and the tekkadon (thin sliced tuna over rice). You could stick to these without ever being disappointed.

I went for the lightly seared tuna (Circa HK$100) and was really struck by how they handled the fish to bring out all its qualities. It was very delicately singed on the edges, giving a hint of cooked flavour which added to, rather than damaged, the stronger impact of the raw fish. Small pieces of onion scattered over the slices added a nice hint of texture, without being too bold.

Each fish slice broke easily into small, succulent chunks when touched by chopsticks, and it was great to pick these up with a little of the swollen, perfectly cooked Japanese rice below. The fish had a subtle yet distinctive, very pure flavour and melted in the mouth in the way that distinguishes really fresh, high quality fish. It had the buttery, subtle effect of tuna I’ve occasionally paid much more for at other places.

It’s rare to have a donburi dish and for each mouthful to have the same subtlety and delight that an individual piece of sushi might offer, but this place achieved that.

諗住有d餓食左野先去我個fd度玩,行來行去都無到好,就諗住去食doraya定食,我叫左個炸雞,陳生叫吞那魚腩碎飯定食,佢o個個真係好好味架,d魚味好香,又唔會太油,而平時我唔鍾意有既蔥,竟然會令魚既香味有所提升,仲有專為tuna而設既sauce,正呀。不過佢上菜既speed有d問題,陳生成個set食完我都仲未有得食。仲以為個雞餐唔會夠飽,估佢唔到,個量係大到我會食唔曬,有6件雞架。個雞真係好crispy不愧即叫即炸,仲好香既肉味唔係雪味,d肉汁慢慢咁流出,好味呀!佢既配菜有椰菜絲加埋佢提供既salad vinegar,中和左雞既油,真係好好味呀!下次我要再去自己一個人叫個腩飯食,因為今次真係試左少少食唔真呀!

自己一個人吃,不想吃快餐,於是就去了doraya吃我最愛的吞拿魚。叫了我的"定番"蔥吞拿魚定食,等了十多分鐘才出來,差點餓死了。吞拿魚的份量少了點,可幸是味道仍然好,是吃得到的新鮮味道。甜蛋也是我的最愛,配著吃,把白飯都吃光光。身邊來了一對日藉人士,女的說她很怕自己一個來這些店子吃飯,咦?!會嗎?我發覺坐我對面的也是,後來再來的女孩子也是囉!我倒不在乎自己去,反而是在乎味道如何!

I remember when 定食 Doraya 1st opened in Causeway Bay, I was holidaying in HK and had paid here multiple visits within a few nights. I dearly missed Tuna Donburi stuff and back then they used a better 魚召產米 - which to my understanding is no longer the case. I remember when 定食 Doraya 1st opened in Causeway Bay, I was holidaying in HK and had paid here multiple visits within a few nights. I dearly missed Tuna Donburi stuff and back then they used a better 魚召產米 - which to my understanding is no longer the case. Some Japanophile foodie-friends didn't quite like it though - they felt the Tuna served in this shop was a bit SOUR for some unknown reason. At that time my mind was preoccupied & swarmed by thoughts of only Bluefin Tuna - I really wasn't paying much attention to its quality despite knowing that they held a valid point, but it was deemed acceptable anyhow and I trusted the Japanese owner. Recently though, I finally discovered that this 'sour' taste is something to do with either unfresh or Tuna that's not refrigerated or defrosted well... either of these!

But it didn't deter me then and what's stopping me from giving here another visit during June 2009, in fact I came here before that already to eat a Big-Toro Don, can't recall if I even wrote a review about that !

CHIRIMEN @ TUNA MAGURO DON -
Its available almost most months of the year, but it was peak season for small young Sardine Iwashi fishes like Chirimen (ちりめんじゃこ), so I ordered this together with signature Bluefin Tuna Slices - most other items available didn't interest me much, especially their newly added Sushi items ... except perhaps their fried chicken!

This donburi was ok-good. The Chirimen was from 宮崎 I think, its like mini-salted but moist anchovies with a concentrated fish-sweetness. The Tuna this time was still slightly on the sour side but barely detectable, it was ok-good but not that great nor fatty. The rice quality has definitely gone down, the miso-soup and egg omelette around the same and mediocre.

MAGURO TENDON -
I order these since its quite full of collagen and fatty. This time around, it was a bit more chewy than the last time I had it. Fun thing to eat though!

Someone eating with me ordered other food but I can't remember the exact details. All in all - standard of this shop has definitely dropped slightly but not significantly. The prices have gone up, though the amount of rice and fish in the bowl seems to be less. Its marginally walking on the fine line - if this '1 Trick Pony' walks backward by just 1 more stroke, I probably won't eat here again anymore!

The one Japanese restaurant I normally go to is going downhill so I started my search for another one on openrice. There are so many choices on HK island alone! I went there for lunch in rainy weather, hoping for some good food and, I was neither dissappointed nor toally satisfied. I ordered 漁夫風吞氧魚定食 as it seemed more interesting than the normal tuna lunch set. The marinated tuna tasted good but the rice was more like Chinese rice or cheap Japanese rice, not sticky and round enough. When I found that I still had some rice left with no more fish or pickles, I ordered fried chicken as it was boasted to be extraordinary in the menu. Well, I was really disaapointed at this one! The chicken was over fried and hard, one of them was even very dry. There is hardly any taste in them except for the salt that came with the chicken, very unlike chicken karage (fried chicken) that should be cooked the Japanese way!

To sum up, Doraya was a not a Japanese restaurant I had in mind. It is a HK style restaurant with good fish, bad rice and terrible fried chicken. If you are looking for set tuna sashimi lunch with reasonable price, it is a good place to go.

今日難得WKDAY可以不用那麼晚下班,決定與老婆去銅鑼灣吃晚飯。此店雖然並非位於銅鑼灣中心地帶,但每次惠顧也有不少人等候,其一相信是由於餐廳只有20多個座位,其二,亦是本人認為更重要的原因,是此餐廳的吞拿魚飯的質素一向都很不錯。當然,質素好除了是以食物(當然,指的主要是吞拿魚了)的美味程度來衡量以外,其吞拿魚定食的種類也算廣泛,由最普遍的吞拿魚魚生飯、吞拿魚茸飯、吞拿魚扒飯等等都有,只有你是喜歡吞拿魚的話,個人認為這的選擇還算是挺多的。個人惠顧此店,一般是幫襯他們的藍鯺吞拿魚定食或者是吞拿魚扒定食,而是日則選擇了前者。終究個人喜歡食魚生多於食FILLET (當然,佢地個FILLET 亦有佢好食之處),所以到目前為止大概惠顧了10次8次,點的有6/7 次都是吞拿魚定食。除了食物的質素以外,個人喜歡此店之原因是有一種挺日本地道的感覺。最能令我產生這感覺的,相信是餐廳使用的食具器皿等等。所謂的定食,其實都是前菜、麵豉湯加主菜的組合。不過相對比較特別的是,這裡其中一個前菜是蒸旦 (並不是燉旦) 並不是一般日式超市買現成的那種,此感覺應該是即席在廚房蒸的那種,感覺是很與別不同的(記得魚一丁就是其

當然之前的都是配角,期待己久的吞拿魚飯才是主角嘛。就圖片所見,普通的藍鯺吞拿魚佔了三分二,其餘的是魚拿魚腩(少筋)。一口咬下赤身真的很夠鮮味,雖然表面看來比較乾身,但咬下亦算是有足夠的水/油份。當然,此處的吞拿魚確實比一般的吞拿魚刺身要美味。

下PART當然是他們的吞拿魚腩了- 油份固然很豐富,也很肥美,有點點筋也令魚生更有嚼勁。吃一塊魚腩,真的滿口都是油...


順帶一提,此餐廳標榜是以日本米弄的定食,飯的質感真的比一般泰國珍珠米更結實。如果大家吃了一次覺得好吃的話,還可以下次加(好像是) 10元加大飯,或加25元加大飯及魚生。如果你是肚餓的話就真的不能錯過了。

另外今次還點了以前沒點過 (也好像是最近推出的)的壽司(火炙三文魚及梅子白飯魚),當然質素也不錯,其中認為可以一試在外邊較少吃到的梅子白飯魚。

這餐晚飯其實真不算便宜,但美味的吞魚拿真的帶來莫大的滿足感。加上吞拿魚著實很美味,若然是吞拿魚的粉絲,真的不要錯過。
