I've been there twice. First time (8/18/07), it's a Saturday late afternoon. Food is relatively better than other sushi chain stores but service is not up to par. The tea cup is a little bit wet so I used the tissue to clean it. To my surprise, after wiping the inside of the tea cup, the white tissue turns into dark brown (same color as the tea cup). I'm not sure whether the color comes from the tea cup or the tea (they are not washing tea cups???) Anyway, I just asked for a new tea cup without any complain. I keep waiting and asking and waiting and asking and the tea cup never comes. I'm just simply asking for a tea cup and it's late afternoon (around 4pm) and there are not the restaurant is only half full. Maybe the servers need to be more attentive. After asking for a tea cup for so many times without any result, I decided to give up. The new tea cup never comes and I was disappointed.
Second time (8/21/07), although the bad experience I had a few days ago, I decided to give it a try one more time and brought my family there. We have a party of 6 and have been waiting for over an hour. I'm getting impatient and checked with the server/manager to see how long I need to wait (my niece and my mom were starved and tired). The server/manager did not give me any answer. Understood because he didn't want to give me any false hope. He just told me that he's looking for table that could be combined to sit 6 people. Finally, 3 parties sitting at the bar table left and 7 consecutive seats are available. We are so happy because the server/manager told me we will be seated once table/bar is available for our party.
Here comes the truth. He seated a party of 2 and 5 seats at the bar table left!!!! My brother was so annoyed and he asked the server/manager what happened. We have party of 6 and there are 7 seats available at the bar table and he didn't seat us. The answer is "WE DON"T HOLD TABLE". So, my sincere comment is if you have a party of more than 4 people, never go there (unless the restaurant is really empty). They don't hold table and there is not 6-people table in the restaurant. It means only if there is exactly a party of 6 left, then they will seat your party. What's the logic???? I feel extremely disappointed and will not go there again in the coming one year at least. It's a wasting of time that night and we finally went to a Vietnamese restaurant and we only waited for 5 minutes. But it's 9pm (starve to death).
