We waited 30 minutes for a table. Service was terrible. Staff were generally hostile and uncommunicative. They didn't appear to have much experience with 'gwailo' customers. The general manager was summoned for the slightest thing. We were given knives and forks when we asked to see the menu. We ticked and ordered from the Cantonese/ English dim sum list. We had jasmine tea, traditional Chinese sausage, char sui bao, steamed shrimp dumpling, deep fried spring roll with taro, steamed vegetarian (mushroom) dumplings, mini glutinous rice with pork and mushrooms in lotus leaf, steamed beefballs with tangerine peel, grilled eggplant Japanese style and mango pancakes. Apart from the 'Chinese Sausage' being steamed pig intestines, the dim sum was delicious. And to be fair, the manager deducted the 'Chinese sausage' from the bill after we complained. The final bill came to $250, parking included. There was no tip: service was definitely the limiting factor. I doubt we will return in any great hurry.
