星期六下班, 上次找了廣東道的老牌豆腐店食野, 而今次, 在另一邊的廣東道, 尋找另一間老子號, 一間比較出名的老字號總店, 人和. 一樣是隱藏於街市當中, 不容易找. 說就說奶路臣街, 但有幾多人知道, 在廣東道街市那邊的奶路臣街呢?今次, 也是為豆腐而來, 但人和另一名物, 豬油渣麵, 亦成為我必食之選. 別以為豬油渣麵是好肥膩, 不健康既食品. 其實只是已炸乾油, 豬肥羔的一個組織而已. 完全不肥. 配上冬菇, 粗麵, 加上一個清湯. 非常之好味. 古時窮人食到厭的食品, 如今, 幾乎全部能登大堂.豆腐, 當然煎一個釀豆腐來食下. 人和開到咁多分店, 當然是因為有水準. 豆腐結結實實, 帶著豆香. 而且上面釀的魚肉不厚, 能讓客人食到真正的豆腐味. 而且, 是我幸運吧, 我的煎豆腐是剛煎好的, 固然, 味道更上一層樓.豆腐花, 說得出是香滑, 而且啖啖豆香. 雖是凍食, 從雪櫃拿出來, 但食得出新鮮有豆味. 滑滑溜溜, 果然是全港聞名的老字號.

豆腐, 當然煎一個釀豆腐來食下. 人和開到咁多分店, 當然是因為有水準. 豆腐結結實實, 帶著豆香. 而且上面釀的魚肉不厚, 能讓客人食到真正的豆腐味. 而且, 是我幸運吧, 我的煎豆腐是剛煎好的, 固然, 味道更上一層樓.

豆腐花, 說得出是香滑, 而且啖啖豆香. 雖是凍食, 從雪櫃拿出來, 但食得出新鮮有豆味. 滑滑溜溜, 果然是全港聞名的老字號.

每次經過旺角,都忍唔住要去食一食。最近,仲要發現,食得豆品多,都皮膚頭髮都好好。咁多年黎,鋪面既裝修不變。品質都不變,一樣咁滑,一樣咁好味。$6一碗,咁既品質,一d都唔貴。佢既熱豆花會滑過凍既,其實,熱既都係暖架姐。唔使擔心係熱到出晒煙果種。

Ordered the following on the latest visit, soy milk was ordered during 1st visit:
1) Savoury Tofu with Fish:
This was ok good. The tofu curd whilst not having an abundance of taste, did have a little trace of Soybean's taste - I figured that's all I shall expect nowadays, haha.
The fish taste on both visits were different, 1 time it had a lot stronger 鯪魚 taste, the other time it had nearly none. No remnants of fish bones detectable either! The difference in taste was very pronounced both times. Surprisingly, I've visited the 旺角道's shop around 4 times whenever I had to do some work around there and the same experience happened. Probably not going to review that shop as its similar to here despite being a franchise? Both these Mongkok shops aren't too bad, its better than the newer Causeway Bay Shop 渣甸街 outlet by far.
2) Hot Tofu Curd (Half Sweetness):
On both occasions this had a different texture. The latter visit was a bit firmer (explained below). Surprisingly given that people rate this lower, this had a detectable Soybean taste. Again, its my prerequisite and bottomline for eating tofu items, each to their own!
I enjoyed this I guess. In fact, this was very similar to what I experienced in 旺角道's shop.
3) Cold Tofu Curd (Half Sweetness):
On the same day, I ordered a Hot Tofu curd then a Cold Tofu curd because 1 bowl is never enough for me, as I treat such visits as a main dinner meal!
On the latter visit, the Cold Tofu Curd was unbelievably smooth, in fact it was smoother than the hot version as I had suspected, despite being contrary to theory. I normally like to do a test of whether the Tofu jelly has any soybean taste by separating the tofu from the syrupy water in my mouth, but on this occasion the cold tofu jelly was so smooth it proved impossible to be achieved, the 1st time for me. So why was this smooth, and how can a hot one be firmer than the cold one 'occasionally'?
The reason is because many of these older Tofu Shops use a very very large sized Bowl/呈 (not sure of the Chinese Terminology) to mix the hottish soymilk with the coagulents and then store it for selling..... On this visit, I took a peek deliberately when it was being scooped and saw what I call the Big 呈 containing the hot tofu curd was around 40-50% used up. As physics dictates, because the Big 呈 has a cross-section resembling a slight concaved yet rounded internal shape and with lots of weight piled on top of itself, it is always expected that the fresher Tofu Curd sitting on the top of the very big 'bowl' to be much smoother than the bottom Tofu Curd bit being compressed by many tens of kilograms of tofu (rough estimate at least 20Kg). The same science applies with Scuba Diving or an Aeroplane with the external pressure changing at different depths or attitudes.
The Cold Tofu I had this day was obviously freshly scooped from the top of the Big Bowl for chilling, hence it was so much fluffier and lighter - also due to the turnover of sales here being quite high, by the time I got to my Hot bowl nearer the mid-bottom it was already well compressed and firmer than the Cold one before it got dried in the fridge!. However I always though the Tofu Curd in 人和荳品廠 looks quite different from other shops too somehow - its much more 'reflective' and 'whiter' than the competition, looking more like a jelly or resembling the look of 杏仁豆腐 and without any wavey 摺痕.
Having said that, on most occasions the Hot is smoother than the Cold one, no arguments about that. I've certainly experienced the 'norm' on a separate occasion in the 銅鑼灣渣甸街 outlet, when the hot won hands down by a factor of 3!

4) Soy Milk (less sweetened):
This has a little bit of soy taste but not much as well. Its nowhere near as good as the one in 廖同合 but at least it doesn't taste like plain water.

I thought this shop was actually quite good as well, I'm happy enough to eat here regularly!
The Tofu curds were the smoothest I've experienced so far despite looking a bit strange with its highly reflective index. Just a bit subtle in taste however but these days, I'll be happy to get any Soy tastes and Chicken taste out of their respective products!

Note: This original shop doesn't carry any Yellow Sugar anymore I think? - which I didn't need anyway. That's unless they ran out during both my visits.

說吃荳品~~二話不說第一樣都會想起凍豆花~~尤其是在熱辣辣同陽光玩遊戲的日子~~吃豆腐花就是為了黃糖~~這個是小比的原則~哈哈~~~大比這天在家大休過後突然想吃碗凍冰冰豆花~~提議到深水~~~~反正晚上有事要到旺角一轉~小比就提議到上次徒步過奧海城時~~路經街市中的人和荳品試一試~地點也相對方便嘛~~~格局與一向光顧開的另一老店差不多~門前盡是豆腐芽菜等~連煎豆腐的位置也很一致~~自回港後食慾又跌至低谷的小比~只好二人分吃一碗凍豆花再多試一碟煎豆腐~~這裡沒有小比最愛的煎釀豆卜啊~~~吃咸後甜~~這裡的豆腐質地較死實~石膏粉下得較多~個人還是愛煎豆腐也要滑溜溜的那種~但奇怪的是在多間荳品店吃過這味~唯獨這間的豆腐不沾豆瓣醬的話是沒有本身的味道~~奇怪也~~~試一試自家的豆瓣醬~~~味較酸~~感覺是車仔麵炒麵那x均益的調製版~~因為小比是不吃那酸得啃喉的辣椒醬的~所以一吃就察覺其關係~~吃了半舊就放下了~~~再嚐豆花~~當試過大埔的阿婆之後~~~簡直是無人可及~~這間的滑溜程度當然遠遠不及阿婆的滑~~可以一匙一匙的盛起而留下粗粗的切痕在碗中~多加黃糖也不是味兒~~糖粒不夠幼細~~快吃快

第一次聽到係街市裏面有間豆腐花店,真係唔係好想去終於有次經過~入去試食左碗凍豆腐花..真係好好味..豆花好滑..又平..6蚊碗..雖然環境唔係太好..但都會返去再食..因為真係好味..

09月20日,17:30在新填地買熱風槍後,再廣東道替太座買海帶。完事後便到這店醫肚(忘記吃午飯)見餐牌沒有豬骨粥,我這粥麵痴有點失落,幸好有油渣麵。麵底:上海粗麵,大腍了,全無口感可言。湯底:清中帶酸配料:超腍油渣少許,連"定"腍腍冬菇多片,蔥花朵朵。在豆品店的油渣麵,當然不可和英記比較。在高通漲下,這麵算交足功課。下次會試豆品。

再加上價錢真係平呀~煎豆腐(6小件) 同豆腐花都係HKD6.00,去邊到搵呀~
至於其他食物好似煎餃子呀~甚麼油渣面呀~豬紅+九菜....非豆類製品...唔啱小金魚的咀型,真係無試過呢......
不過去呢間舖食野的話~要有心理準備夏天會熱~因為無冷氣~而且service唔會太好~
只要你唔介意無裝修~無services~兼無冷氣的話~我誠意推介呢......

打算行去街市買野,行過見到人和(我從來都唔知lee度有間人和)咁就入去食番碗凍豆腐花+煎豆腐~~~豆花夠凍夠滑,必食煎豆腐即叫即上枱,熱辣辣,豆腐都好滑,但係肉無果皮味價錢唔跟通脹,街坊受惠

在旺角街市附近買餸菜,走著走著到了人和附近,見到這裡都有很久沒吃過的豬腸韮菜,即時買了一碗淨豬腸回家享用。在花園街街市對面分店買過無數次,湯底很重胡椒味,豬腸柔軟中帶韌度,每次都吃得很滿意,以為這家老店會有更高水準,怎知事與願違! 湯底淡而無味,別說胡椒味,連最基本的味道也欠奉,只單靠炸蒜粒的香味才不會淡如開水;豬腸剪得碎碎而且勁淋,完全不似在吃豬腸哩!! 跟花園街那間分店真的天壤之別耶!吃了那麼多年的豬腸,今次的算是最難吃了 下次在這裡還是乖乖吃豆腐花、煎豆腐和豆漿好了。

今日又去左人和食豆花,其實,每次經過都會食。食左十年,d豆花都仲係咁好味。食左咁多次,點都有d心得,就係熱既係滑好多。而食煎豆腐就記得落少少辣椒醬,個辣椒醬好正。

早幾日再幫襯有d失望因為而家既豆腐花好滑有豆味但無質感但要讚既係當所有野都加價時佢唔會默守成規只賣豆類製品反而識得點樣諗計令多d客幫襯而家星期日會有埋煎釀三寶賣如果唔係食完碗豆花已經飽我一定會試佢既煎釀三寶見同檯食客既三寶佢都同人地唔同有幾款唔係用魚肉釀而係用類似蝦膠o個d感覺上6蚊5件好抵食

是日買完票等睇戲, 點知行行吓, 真係有點餓. 無法, 睇完戲成九點幾先食飯, 都係吃少少野頂下肚. 諗咗好耐, 最唔肥的算係豆腐花卦. 特意走到這店. 今次要了熱的, 加了少少黃糖,暖暖地, 很滑, 十分滿足. 仲好想試下d煎豆腐. 但sorry, 今天超了標, 等下次啦!

$6 熱豆腐花+ $10 亂執炸釀豆腐花超滑,必食!所有炸釀小食都係用『蝦』肉釀既,熱辣辣,好好味.冇落鼓油都好夠味.舊蝦膠好大舊滿滿舖喺茄瓜上面,正!!!$16蚊消費好滿足~~要多支持老舖先有好味嘢食架,有時間一定再幫襯.

受大人之命去買餸,今次走左去朗豪坊後面行舊式街市,最重要係想試下人和老舖。一坐低又係一句:熱豆花唔該!!阿姐就即刻係皮蛋缸片出一碗雪白豆腐花俾我喇。豆花的確好滑,真係雪一聲就可以吞,但今日好似豆香欠奉,要搵日再試多次至得。阿姐好好心機,真係片得好薄,讚!!唯一唔太好係唔夠熱囉。同檯小朋友食煎餃子,好似好好食!到我俾錢至知呢度都有豬腸食,哎呀呀....下次一次同你試埋佢!!!服務方面,幾位阿姐都唔錯,serve我個位仲經常笑笑口添。
