This place is definitely a hidden gem waiting to be discovered for the beef lovers~For starters, we had black truffle avocado salad. Never thought avocado would go so well with truffle. It is also topped with tiny cherry tomato bits which were very juicy. For mains, we had first the wagyu sirloin which was an off regular menu item. It’s marinated with a special sauce by the chef. For mains, we had first the wagyu sirloin which was an off regular menu item. It’s marinated with a special sauce by the chef. We ate it dipping into raw egg yolk. I would say it goes perfect with white rice.
And next up, we had the ox tongue and rib-eye slices which were both really nice and tender. Special mention goes to the dips where there are 3 choices: fine salt, meat sauce and onion sauce. I personally liked the meat sauce in the middle the best.
The last main was another pleasant surprise called the Foie Gras Jenga.
It sure lives up to its name with rice at the bottom, tempura mushrooms in the middle and stacked with two sizable pieces of grilled foie gras, topped with a generous amount of juicy fish roes. An awesome jap fusion dish in my opinion.
On a side note, the general decor of the whole place has this air of classiness to it, down to the details of the utensils which exude an aura of exquisiteness. And I found the eye-catching tagline on the wall really witty~~~~
