The tasting menu included a good range of choices from seafood, meat to starches. Every dish was served fresh and hot right from the kitchen.
The starter was a fantastic wine accompany. The homemade thin pasta matched well with the not-too-heavy creamy sauce and was followed by a comforting hot version of Vichyssoise. The steak was grilled on point and beautifully browned.
In addition to the scrumptious menu, we ordered half chicken to share. In contrast to the usual firm texture of free range chicken, the meat was juicy and tender. Served with loads of veggies too.
Torbreck Woodcutter's Shiraz 2021 as their house red tasted blueberry and plum. Slightly dry with nice acidity that went well with most dishes.
