Tired and dragging a lot of things, boyfriend and I stopped at 正九清湯腩 for a quick dinner. It was a small noodle shop that seemed to specialize in beef brisket.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. It had a variety of beef items served in either noodles or rice. Drinks get a discount if you order a main.We shared a snack of deep fried chicken wings ($32). You get four in total. These were really excellent. Not overly oily but really crunchy skin that was well seasoned. T

We shared a snack of deep fried chicken wings ($32). You get four in total. These were really excellent. Not overly oily but really crunchy skin that was well seasoned. The meat was so juicy, it just leaked out. It came with a few pickled daikon to balance it out.
I had the beef brisket, tendon and tripe rice noodles ($55). First of all .. it was a big portion size. Boyfriend took half my noodles and there was still a lot of noodles! The beef brisket was beautiful. Thickly cut and so tender, it fell apart easily. There was a strong beef flavor. The tendon was so tender and gummy. Just the way I like it. The tripe was well soaked in the marinade it was in. The soup was a clear broth with a light beef taste.
Assorted balls with seaweed rice noodles ($41) was what boyfriend ordered as he wanted something other than beef. The balls were two fish balls, one beef ball and one squid ball. The balls were ok with the best being the beef ball.
Very big portion size at this place. It was fairly clean as well and food does come out very quickly so if you need a quick bite, this is the place. The beef brisket was fantastic and will definitely come back for that.
