Kyoto Joe is located on 1 Lan Kwai Fong in Central. Now, Ive found a new sushi joint in Central that I can frequent. The space is nice, clean and simple. The menu is straightforward- classic sushi choices along with creative Japanese dishes are scrawled across the menu. I've also heard really good things about their vegetarian dishes....could it really be that good? The answer: Yes.Its even on my list for the best of the night!  Its even on my list for the best of the night! I can't believe this is an all vegetarian dish! Close up of the Crispy Roll | Grilled Mock Pork, shishito in bean curd sheet, topped with spicy seaweed sauce! Dare I say it tastes better than real sushi rolls!!! It was delectable. The gently fried bean curd sheet and the juicy grilled mock pork...LOVED THIS!

We asked if we could have the sashimi included in our meal because who doesn't love sashimi and it was divine. Absolutely fresh, succulent and divine. I loved the sweetness of the plump prawn and juicy toro sashimi. DELICIOUS!

 Wagyu Beef Tataki | Seared sliced Kagoshima prime sirloin with wafu dressing $380. It just gets better and better. It was the perfect amount of marbling, fat and juicy-ness. You can eat it with the onions for an extra sharp crunch! I gobbled this right up.

 Kaki Yaki | Grilled Potato fed pork bacon wrapped oyster $200. This was really good too! The creamy cheesy sauce mixed in with the onions were awesome! I usually don't like cooked oysters- but this was done really nicely. And last but not least...who doesn't like bacon!?

 Jade Roll | Mock Shrimp with home made Jalapeno mascarpone cheese sauce, wrapped with basil crumbs $120. This was pretty good! The mock shrimp was lightly fried and so pretty. But seriously....try these dishes! Its bomb!
