Read about this just last night and I got to try it for lunch today!! Random lunch date with my homie of 30+ years, we wanna to try a new restaurant. It was 1130am, afraid that lunch might be fully booked. The restaurant is situated in an off street near Hysan, if you are a local it shouldn’t be hard to find. For foreigners you will walk past many hawker stalls that sell hair accessories, underwear’s etc left and right and through them it comes to an intersection and the restaurant is just 10 mo
Here specializes in lamb! So fans of lamb must come, as most of the yakiniku places in HK offer quality beef so this is definitely the first! From the starter, cabbage in sesame sauce, to the star of the day LAMB, supported by bowls of free flow of chopped onions, it was a satisfying lunch experience. Lamb roll and shiso lamb are the must try, those who like lamb will know that distinguished flavor that we love. The sirloin is good but the portion can be a little bigger. The only beef we tried was the oyster blade and it was surely a good choice, beefy! Shank and the rack might be what we will try next time. Samuel, the owner, is very nice and attentive. He definitely brings something new to the city. As the crowd grows over lunch, he seemed overwhelmed but still well composed. As long as the quality of meat continue to be high, I see a true success coming from this yakiniku!
