The long-awaited day has finally come when my besties and I sat down for the coveted afternoon tea at Rosewood Hong Kong. After booking a month and a half in advance and hearing many great things about it, we were genuinely still surprised by how amazing their service was and how full we were at the end of this luxurious experience! On top of the salmon roll which is always a fav of mine, I enjoyed the black truffle tarts as they had fresh strips of truffle in them! Next came the baked goods with fragrant scones and mini madeleines.

These were served with two jams, one orange and one berry, as well as a classic clotted cream. They were really filling! Soon after, that unique Rosewood experience began to unfold as the pastry trolley offering Italian Christmas sweets were slowly pushed to where we could literally smell them.

Being the extra queens we were, obv we had to have a taste of all of the items. My fav was the napoleon dessert; the fresh creme and the flakey layers just did it for me.

The confectionery trolley arrived not long after. At this point we were stuffed with all kinds of cakes and pastries, but the hot pot of tea that came with the set helped with digestion.

Back to the last element of the set, the trolley carried chocolate candies, chocolate cakes, berry cream cakes and more! How could I say no to a rich chocolate cake? 😍 All in all it was a fabulously pampering experience for us, the food was tasty, service was on point (and that tall waiter 👋🏻😂), and let’s not forget about the gorgeously tasteful decor! So relaxing and elegant!
