Due to the recent outbreak, i have already dined out less often than before. Since i tried to have something nice for dinner with my wife once a while, I decided to try Lab Eat as i knew that they served take away option now as well. It was located at Kimberly Road, several minutes walk from Jordan MTR.They offered a wide range of dishes such as steak, pasta, seafood, oysters, drinks and desserts etc. Once my food was ready, it was placed inside a nice paper bag. They offered a wide range of dishes such as steak, pasta, seafood, oysters, drinks and desserts etc.
Once my food was ready, it was placed inside a nice paper bag. I was surprised that they paid full attention to the way their food was packaged for take away. For soup, the paper cup was wrapped with microwave wrap to preserve the heat and to prevent it from spilling out. For food, it was placed in a nice paper box.
Lobster bisque - It was thick in texture and was very creamy. It was flavourful, with strong lobster taste. It even has a lobster meat in it as well.
Caesar salad - I can taste the freshness of the salad, which was crunchy and juicy. There were sliced cheese and bacon in it, which helped to enhance the taste of the salad. Lava egg was soft and smooth and toast was very soft and crispy.
Dry aged rib eye - Given the price of the steak, the chef was generous with the serving. The steak was grilled till the edges were charred and yet the meat was still quite raw. It was very tender and chewy, and the sauce provided helped to enhance the taste.
