i read about this bagel place in a magazine months ago and have always wanted to give it a try. Afterall, the shop is located along Pan Hoi Street and is somehow related to the spelling of my chinese name so im pretty 'attached' to this shop and is determined to try it out because of this super-weird reason. anyways, i went there for lunch with a friend of mine. we ordered two bagels, one with tuna salad and the other the very famous vancouver breakfast. as for beverage my friend ordered a cann
to be frank the bagel were kind of disappointing. maybe of my over-expectation. nevertheless, the bagels were appropriately chewy and the texture were fine. i had a terrible experience of ordering reheated frozen bagels at starbxxks and when compared, the bagels served here were much better. as for the sandwich as a whole....hm....i think it wouldnt make much difference if the bagels were replaced by pieces of bread or whatever. the fillings are okay but its just that the bagels didnt stand out.
anyways, i am determined to give it another try...perhaps i should order a plain bagel with cream cheese next time.
