千層酥極為酥脆,切落去清脆利落,蘋果蓉帶清甜而並無過甜。The outer was so crispy that it could be cut neatly, and the sweetness of the apple filling was just right.

❝朱古力卷/Pain au Chocolat❞ ($25)
在巴黎浪遊日子最愛咬住一個Pain au Chocolat周街走,亦是少數我能夠準確pronounce的法語生字(慚愧)。份量超~級大個,口感厚實而內餡同樣不會過甜。When I was in Paris I got a Pain au Chocolat in my mouth all the time. This is also one of the few vocabularies that I can pronounce nicely (I am sorry). This size was huge while the texture was thick and the filling is also not too sweet.

原個真係超級大個﹑可以食兩日架!!口感有嚼勁又帶微微酸味,配合小紅莓相當開胃。This one was HUGE and you may only finish it the next day! The sourdough is chewy with a little bit of sourness, together with the cranberry is the appetising sweet-sour favour.

❝開心果吉士軟包/Pistachio Brioche❞ ($28)
軟包奶油香味十足,表層吉士醬濃稠而甜度偏高,適合配合無內餡嘅軟包一同享用,加上開心果醬又更增添風味。The brioche was full of creamy favour. The custard sauce on the top is thick and sweeter than usual, which makes it a perfect match for the brioche without filling. The pistachio sauce further adds more favours to the brioche.

❝芒果黃梅千層盒/Mango & Plum Feuilletine Basket❞ ($30)
是日大愛!千層盒口感酥脆帶牛油香,內餡有吉士醬以及芒果黃梅果粒,整體配搭出色。It was my favourite pastry of the day! The feuilletine basket was crispy and buttery. The custard filling with mango and plum together with the outer feuilletine form a great combo.

One of my favourite pastries!! The tart is filled with vanilla custard and some bitter orange marmalade. The sourdough puff pastry base is so crispy and crumbly. Will try the chocolate version next time!😍

The vanilla candle is finger-licking good! Rich vanilla taste with a soft and tender custard centre and a thick caramelised crust. The matcha flavour is also rich and intense.


𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆
The crust is buttery and flaky but light. The filling is delicate. I like the transfer of smokey flavors from the smoked salmon, also the egg filling is creamy. It all comes together to make a delectable quiche.


𝑷𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒐 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆
This was served in a brioche with pistachio custard and pistachio topping, the custard is sweet and velvety. It was so delicious and unique!

There are a variety of flavors, like caramelized apple, sour cherry🍒, baby pear🍐 It looks like a flower petal and the puff pastry is so crispy and crumbly.


Great bread, pastries and excellent breakfast and lunch options. The staff was also super nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend a trip!

After I finished the pastries at Bakehouse, I passed by another shop selling sourdough pastries.There were many choices but I have never seen sourdough scones before and decided to give it a try.It was a bit strange they did not offer to reheat it so I thought it was fresh from the oven. However, it was actually stone cold and quite hard. I am not sure if it was due to it being cold or due to the sourdough.However, the scones flavors were rich and had the scone been on the warmer side and less h

Sour Dough係由 Gérard Dubois開設,我一直都係用佢地既酸種麵包做早餐,遲啲可以再講下佢地既酸種麵包。今次就講下佢地D酥皮咸/甜點先,眼見有好多選擇,記得叫朋友搵定位簡完食物再俾錢啦~我都幾鐘意蘋果千層酥、芒果黃梅千層盒同埋酸種芝士雜菜蛋餅,千層做得好好,咬落去好酥化。其中朱古力卷係我最愛,我平時唔食朱古力,但呢個入面有小小黑朱古力醬,食落去唔算heavy同時味道亦夠濃郁。

This tart has many layers of puff sheets and it’s filled with rich vanilla cream. The orange jam gives it a bitter touch that’s instantly balanced by the sweetest of the vanilla cream.

-Creamy Brioche Pistachio
Tender brioche filled with rich pistachio cream. The brioche was mildly sweet. Adding pistachio cream on top, their tastiness is taken to the next level!

-Apple Turnover
Tastes like apple pie in buttery and flaky puff pastry! Perfectly cooked throughout.

-Chocolate Sourdough Bread with Cranberry
Crispy, chewy and full of chocolate favours. Cranberries were added for some sweetness and fruitiness. If you like chocolate then you’re definitely going to like this!

Feuilletine Basket - / Rhubarb/ Baby Pear
Flaky basket, tender and caramelised rhubarb/ pear join together in this fruity dessert. Wonderful sweet treats for tea/ breakfast!

Sour Dough is a bakery café located in Queen’s Road East, which is founded by Gérard Dubois. It is also a pet-friendly café and supplies various food including salads, pastries and nibbles, etc.

🐮Sour Dough既必食招牌麵包之一,一定要試下佢地既酸種牛角包,焗熱個陣已經聞到好香牛油味,食落非常酥脆,見到層次分明既氣孔就知佢發酵得好靚,上面加左杏仁片同砂糖,甜甜地又幾好食😚

Sourdough Croissants are their signature items. Other than original flavour, almond flavour is a special one with loads of almond on top. This croissant is crispy with a fluffy texture. With the sourdough pastry base, I would definitely re-order this one again next time.


🍒Rasberry Kouign Amann
試左原味要試埋紅莓味,紅莓味酸酸甜甜,加埋少少類似蘋果金寶粒粒,中和返奶油酥皮,又幾特別😉

Other than original flavour, I’ve also ordered rasberry kouign amann. The sweet and sour taste of the rasberry matches the pastry. With apple crumble topping, this make it a more fancy outlook



🥚Mille Feuille Vanilla Tart
見到好多人推介呢個撻,Sour Dough係間酸種主題既麵包店,連酥皮都係用上酸種製作,呢款Mille Feuille Vanilla Tart望落去有啲似蛋撻,蛋漿好滑,造型好似一朵玫瑰花咁,賣相精緻

There is vanilla custard and some bitter orange marmalade inside on a sourdough puff pastry base, looks like an egg tart with rose flower appearance. The vanilla custard tastes so yummy, not too sweet and soft.

🥞Original Kouign Amann
呢款係原味法式奶油酥,食落口感有啲似牛角包,口感酥脆,甜甜地幾啱我

Kouign Amann is a multi-layered bread which contains butter and loads of sugar. The layered structure makes it look like a muffin shape. I really like crispy texture and this kind of sweet bread

🍄Pie - Mushroom Chicken
試完幾款甜點當然要試埋佢地既鹹點啦,甜麵包好食估唔到鹹點同樣出色,呢個雞肉蘑菇酸種批同出面啲雞批唔同,出面食雞批會覺得愈食愈漏但呢度唔會,口感好鬆化,蘑菇同雞肉餡好夾👍🏻

Not only the sweet pastries from Sour Dough is yummy, but their quiche and pie are also outstanding I would say. This mushroom chicken pie is totally different from those available in local bakery shop. They use sour dough puff pastry as base, with mushroom and chicken inside. It completely makes my day😍

🐟Quiche - Salmon
隔住個紙袋都聞到好香芝士味既蛋餅,香脆既酥皮配上嫩滑既蛋餅,中間切開見到滿滿的三文魚,口感層次非常豐富

Quiche is a savory egg custard baked like a pie. The salmon quiche from Sour Dough come together with loads of cheese. You can even smell the cheese outside the pastry bag. You can see several slices of salmon after cutting the pastry into half



Would definitely recommend you all to try out their signature sourdough croissants and pastries here before they’re all sold out!

有一天路過灣仔看到這個綠色招牌的小店就被吸引了,默默記住了,前幾日我下班早到港島接小🐤胃下班,他還沒忙完,我就先去了灣仔買麵包!!.種類超級多,每一樣都想試試,我一口氣買了五種,全部都很棒!好吃。.柑橘蛋撻好吃,酥酥脆脆回家又焗了一下!.最喜歡的是可露麗,我以前完全不喜歡的甜品,他家做的太好吃了 我選的抹茶的,有點Q又很潤!.還有紅絲絨椰子曲奇,味道濃郁!不過朱古力cookie更勝一籌,價格也不貴只要20左右.牛角包也是他家經典 我選了一個開心果的!

First time trying Sourdough~ 😆Came here on a weekday afternoon ~3pm and the cafe was filled with people! 🤭Tried the vegetarian tofu sandwich, impressed by how crispy and fresh the bread was. However, couldn’t really taste the tofu because of the peppers and sauce... 😕also tried the mocha, which is not too sweet! 🤩After ordering, the staffs will bring your food to your table. Newly opened cafe in wan chai offered many bakery goods and sourdough breads. Ordered a sandwich and latte. The sourdough is good, and stuffed with lots of fillings, while the coffee was quite disappointing. Hope they can source some better beans & provide better coffee lateron!
