Surprisingly not too many dining here for lunch. I write that because across the corridor, the competing restaurant has cheaper lunch specials only for students. The appetizers came with a generous amount of oil and vinegar dip. More generous on the vinegar, though. The bread was slightly tough, but not too tough; nor was it crispy. So, borderline on the bread. The vinegar was mediocre quality; and the oil was of a reasonable standard. The cream of cauliflower soup was a pleasant surprise, though. It was rich and flavorful, without being too salty. When queried, the waitress hesitantly recommended this (both English and Cantonese interrogation). Odd. The entree was spaghetti with meat sauce. Luckly, I was able to improvise with some cutlery to squeeze the lemon slices. However, this did nothing for the taste of the tea. In fact, it may have made it worse There was some strange after-taste now. Not revolting, but still strange enough to season each sip with suspicion. Not a deal breaker, but I certainly will not dare to have ice tea here again. …查看更多
