A chill yet modern restaurant at the heart of Central SOHO which made my dinner there so enjoyable and perfect. For starter, we ordered the 🦐 shrimp mayo with mango and crab roe, as well as the 🥩 beef tartare with orange sauce. For the shrimp mayo, it went very well with the mango though the shrimps were a bit bland for me. Surprisingly, the star of the dish was the mashed potato which brought all the flavours together. The beef tartare on the other hand, was spot on. The orange sauce went so well with the raw beef, the beef was tender and that hint of citrus just took it to the next level.
🐟 For my main, I got the grilled salmon with mixed quinoa. The salmon was spot on—flaky and juicy, with just a nice little char. The quinoa was a wholesome touch that rounded out the dish perfectly.
🍅 My friend went for the dried tomato farfalle. The homemade pasta was cooked just right, and those dried tomatoes really brought the flavour. It was a hearty, comforting dish!
☕️ To wash it all down, we tried a black sesame latte. I wasn’t sure about this drink but wow, it was such a cool twist and that nutty flavor was really refreshing! Perfect drink for the cold weather.
Overall, we really enjoyed our meal at MOMA. The aesthetic of the restaurant is amazing, though the tables were a bit small to fit several plates at the same time. The bill came to $694 which was decent for a restaurant in Central!
