In the Kwun Tong area, we found a place called Langom Kaffe. It was very large with plenty of seats serving cafe style food. Menu was in English and Chinese. But as we had just had lunch, I noticed their display of cakes and scones. Along with the usual plain ones they also had other flavors like matcha but this one caught my eye. Bacon and rosemary. One scone cost $25. I bought one home for breakfast the next morning. It was larger than most scones on the market. After reheating it for a bit
I bought one home for breakfast the next morning. It was larger than most scones on the market. After reheating it for a bit, it was soft and yet held together well. Very buttery with a generous portion of bacon with a fragrant mix of rosemary. It was almost like having a mini focaccia. It was fabulous! I never thought to have a savory scone before so now I'm hooked! I'll have to return again one day and get more.
