went here for the first time tonighthad a little trouble finding it, but when found the place looks great. really classy. nice decor. great beer selectionthe beers taste great too. I tried the 'machine man' was a really flavoursome beer, great bouquet, fruits, lychee,. awesome. now the negatives. price. wow, it's in Shek mun, and priced like it's in lan Kwai Fong. 85 hkd for a pint.. ok.food tried to order deluxe Bavarian shared platter... not available, like literally half of the men

food tried to order deluxe Bavarian shared platter... not available, like literally half of the menu. ok new place, we will order chef recommendation. pork knuckle. plus my son's favourite fish and chips.
to be fair fish was good quick to come and ok price.
but the pork knuckle....
it was raw
we sent it back and even after re cook, it was inedible.
service throughout this was surly, and unpleasant

When I walked in, the bar has a fabulous design, a nice combination of the Hong Kong local culture and a western bar. The staff are very nice and welcoming. This should be a new restaurant since things aren’t working very well. When the waiter took my order, she didn’t ask how well I want my steak to be, I told her directly instead. 10 minutes in, then the soup came, just a normal tomato soup, not bad. When I walked in, the bar has a fabulous design, a nice combination of the Hong Kong local culture and a western bar. The staff are very nice and welcoming. This should be a new restaurant since things aren’t working very well. When the waiter took my order, she didn’t ask how well I want my steak to be, I told her directly instead. 10 minutes in, then the soup came, just a normal tomato soup, not bad. However, for the food, it took them a bit too long. Half an hour in, the food still hasn’t came. Instead, I spot a fly in a unused beer cup. Although that happened, it’s quite hygienic and so far so good. 35 minutes after the order, I finally got my food, and the presentation isn’t bad, it’s the steak. The sirloin looks dry, and not grilled enough in terms of its top layer. It looked so unappealing, with loads of fat bits stuck on the sides. I took a bite, and the steak isn’t juicy at all, it’s so bland. The first thing I came up with my mind is the steak had been frozen for a long time. I called the manager and he apologised to me and I changed my dish into a Assorted seafood risotto with Sea Urchin sauce. Surprisingly, the risotto came 8 minutes after ordering. The seafood is frozen as expected, but the risotto doesn’t taste like sea urchin at all. The colour was orange and taste a little bit weird. I like the fact that they add a great amount of white wine, which enhances the flavour. However, the seafood which contains squid, mussel and a scallop is nearly tasteless. Although the risotto is better than the steak, I don’t really enjoyed that. The restaurant has great potential, but the food needs a major improvement. The menu doesn’t have a large amount of dishes and selections, which is what new opened restaurants should always do. The amount of choices are great on the menu, but less dishes means more efficiency. It shouldn’t take that long for he kitchen for a steak. This is just the food for lunch, not a review of the bar. The bar is amazing, there are many handmade local beers and some cocktails. I didn’t try one of them, but the really do look great. Give it a try, but not for lunch service, get a drink there and it should be an alright experience.
