Mille Crepe夾著榛果忌廉及一片片的新鮮黑松露,但黑松露味道遠遠蓋過了其他食材的味道🙁,與這款甜品很有違和感,連我這個黑松露鐵粉也實在是不太欣賞,敬而遠之😖。

I was here for dinner with my boyfriend and another couple- all of us had never dined at Belon before but had heard amazing things. When we first sat down, we decided on the Selection de la cuisine menu so that we could try out a variety of dishes and leave the hard work up to the restaurant. The Somm selected a FANTASTIC bottle of wine (which we then proceeded to finish 3 of...). We started dinner with some of the most incredible bread I've ever had in my life and a comté amuse- bouche. The din

I was here for dinner with my boyfriend and another couple- all of us had never dined at Belon before but had heard amazing things. 

When we first sat down, we decided on the Selection de la cuisine menu so that we could try out a variety of dishes and leave the hard work up to the restaurant. 

The Somm selected a FANTASTIC bottle of wine (which we then proceeded to finish 3 of...). 

We started dinner with some of the most incredible bread I've ever had in my life and a comté amuse- bouche. 

The dinner flowed together perfectly, as each of the courses came out one by one, delighting us with every dish. What's not to miss? The whole roast chicken and mashed potatoes- juicy and tender- quite literally melting in your mouth. 

Dinner ended on the sweetest note with the Mille-Feuille and Almond Eclaire. 

Whether you take my recommendations or not- the waiters will be more than helpful with ordering.

Atmosphere was elegant and unpretentious.

Will definitely be back for our next special occasion.

Food out of this world.Opted for chef’s selection as couldn’t decide and chef Daniel spoiled us, we got to try so many dishes. Everything was excellent but the standout dishes were the merguez sausage sandwich with salsa verde, the oyster tartare and the pigeon pithivier.Service was great, friendly staff who explained the dishes well but were not obtrusive. Will definitely be back, left very full and happy.Tip - try the bar upstairs for a drink afterwards, it’s a hidden gem.

From the housemade sourdough bread to start with the best butter I think I've ever had (it's all about the details here) to the Dover Sole which was just perfect, to Chef Daniel's famous millefeuille (I will be coming back purely for this), we could not find fault. Service was flawless and very helpful and friendly, we felt very looked after. They have a great selection of natural wine, too, and were happy to talk us through them.

My first time eating at Belon, I've walked past here plenty of times and always wanted to try.I sat at the bar with a friend (who's a Chef) visiting from Australia and I have to be honest, I can't believe I hadn't tried it sooner.The dishes were all perfect, the wine was delicious and the service attentive. The head chef came out and said hi and talked us through some dishes which was a nice touch.Loved every bit of it.

I've been to Belon three times now and it is a firm favourite, very deserving of its place on the Asia's 50 Best list. I find it hard not to order the Pigeon Pithivier but when I try new things I am  not disappointed. The service is always excellent, the Sunday lunch is very good value and the desserts are stunning, worth leaving room for! My boyfriend and I  were in SoHo looking for a place to have dinner, and spotted the beautiful restaurant front of BELON. We peeked inside and it was just as gorgeous and the menu had a lot of interesting dishes, so we decided to try it. There was a bit of a wait since we didn't have a reservation, so we started upstairs with some cocktails. The room feels just like you are in Paris.  I feel like it's an undiscovered gem. It was quiet and sophisticated, fancy but casual. The cocktail list was not very big, or fussy. All the drinks were very classy and not gimmicky. 
We finished our drinks then headed to dinner. We had a great waiter named Henry and he recommended we start with the bread. I am not usually a bread person but this was amazing. The crust was chewy and the interior was full of big bubbles. We also had an uni puff which was like heaven and a yummy sardine. We then had the salad nicoise which was very light and a burrata with fruit tomatoes. Yum. For our mains, we shared a whole dover sole and another dish of morel mushrooms. We were so full but cleaned our plates anyways because it was all so good. We weren't going to have dessert because we were so stuffed, but my boyfriend finally convinced me to get the Japanese strawberry dish and we were fighting over the last bites of it. The chef Daniel came out at the end of the meal and gave us some freshly made madeleines which had a hint of orange.  The perfect end to a perfect dinner.
We will definitely be coming back! Chef Daniel said the menu changes daily so we can't wait to see what else BELON has up its sleeve.

Of course, we had to order the signature pigeon which is one of the most strikingly beautiful dishes I've had as well as delicious. Everything from start to finish, from the service to the wine to the food, was great, and the staff was able to make me and my boyfriend feel really special and it's definitely the best birthday dinner I've had so far. Yes, it's pricey, but its well well worth it!!
Also, they have really cool bathrooms!

Had the set lunch on a busy Saturday. A lot of courses, so expect to be there for 2 hours. Most were very good, especially the appetizer. The mixed drinks were very delicious and strong. Expensive but worth it. Service was a bit overwhelming and over attentive. A good place for a splurge date.

As a French food lover, it is in my blood to try every decent French restaurant that is available in Hong Kong. Friend of mine said this one was an interesting one to try so we went. I would think that given the price they charge, they would be more detailed in services and especially on the explanation on the dishes they served, hearing is a part of eating! I thought that was done poorly, dishes were served and we were told that it's "lamb", "dessert", "terrine" etc. which tells me the ingredients but does not give me anything else.

Impressive dishes were the tortellini and the lamb, however it's just merely on a relative scale. I expected a lot more and I don't think this place is able to deliver. Certainly they try to be the fine dinning type looking for a price tag in the fine dinning category, but they can't really achieve that standard. Not sure if it's worth visiting again.

We ordered 2 small starters (Hors d'Oeuvres), a starter (entrée) and a main course (plate) for sharing. Also had a bottle of still water and 2 glasses of Alonso Del Yerro to pair with the food.

To start, we enjoyed the free refreshment Comte gougeres! Very nicely done!

There is a wide range of deletions of Hors d'Oeuvres: oysters, tartars, and some creative vegetarian options. We tried baked celery root with aged Comte and Artichoke "Bagna Cauda".

The Baked celery root is served with fresh Australian black truffle on top and Comte baked into the mix of celery roots, interesting pairing Fresh Australian black truffle, a bit bitter celery with strong and slightly sweet Comte cheese and aromatic black truffle - interesting  pairing. $68 per person, nothing to complain at this price

Artichoke, although I have never been a fan of its unique taste and texture, a combination of celery and asparagus for the outer layers and eggplant for the heart part, we ordered it because the waiter recommended it as special dish for the restaurant ... I honestly regret ordered it

We had a luxury pick of the entree: foie gras "Perigourdine". The foie gras is good quality, almost A grade I think, firm texture, light coloured and rich and buttery taste, just size wise may not be the top tier (grade A typically is over 1 pound). Good paring with raspberry, seaweed and especially our choice of the Spanish DOC wine! Flavours are dancing in the mouth! Good wine paring can embrace foie gras, faulty paring (if wines are not powerful enough) would bring out the gamey smell of foie gras. However, I am not impressed by this dish at this price tag. Would simply go to Amber or Robuchon for their better work at similar price.

I have been long impressed by the photo of the pigeon pithivier dish and certainly ordered it as the plate choice. It was served for 2 of us separately and sauced with fig and amaretto. Pigeon meat was very tender and delicious! Quite innovative in terms of flavour mix and presentation.

We ordered too much to take desserts, overall a decent French dinner, but I would think twice whether I should pick this restaurant again given its Michelin 2-3 star tier price.

A decent, fresh menu and reasonably well presented food. However, for the price you'd expect something outstanding and this simply isn't. The appetisers are ludicrously priced, as are the entrees. The restaurant was virtually empty when we visited on a Wednesday evening with no ambiance whatsoever. The waiters did their best to try and upsell the food but when it eventually came out, it left a lot to be desired. Best part of the meal was probably the complimentary Madeleines at the end. Belon in Soho has been one of the buzziest places to open up last year and I can not believe that I still didn't go try it...until now. Last week I called and they finally had an available booking. My good friend Andrew was visiting HK again and I wanted to take him around. We were initially going to go there to have dinner but decided to just go for our first stop (so I think I still need to go back for a proper full meal.) Second stop was Cassio for some more food and more drinks- love that p

Fire roasted leeks with mussels and noilly prat, HK$198. The plating was incredibly beautiful and refined. It came out piping hot. The dish itself was delicious but with really small portions. (Two mussels each but that sauce tho....ah mazing!) The leeks were nicely drenched in the savory and milky sauce.

I really enjoyed the starter. These tiny cheesy cream puffs filled with a milky comte cheese center was crazy good. Wow. Just wow. You need to eat these babies up. I wish there was an option to buy and take them home. They should make this into a dish! So good.

Braised endives with green apple and raw cream, HK$168. This was recommended to us but I found it was just alright. Really tiny portion for the amount you pay. Two tiny handfuls each and this was all gone. :/

Daily selection of Oysters |Half portion at Market Price| The Japanese oysters were pretty good but definitely on the pricey side. They came out to be over HK$400+ for 6 oysters.
Hendrick's Plum | Hendrick’s, Plum wine, lime | HK$138 | This was super refreshing and sweet. Could easily go back for another one right now. 
Terrific service, fun vibe and loved the decor of this place. Think we ordered this time around. I'll come back in a group to try out the mains still (the famous chicken is for sharing- and was recommended not to share for the 2 of us this time around!)
