We took advantage of the AE birthday offer and decided to dine at Amber with a complementary birthday cake and a bottle of house wine. The restaurant was elegant and modern but fairly informal. The first visit to this restaurant was absolutely spectacular and it immediately became my favorite. But after a second visit months later, there was a clear disparity in terms of the dining experience. Don't be mistaken though, in terms of ambience and service it wins hands down. Our company took the glass room in Amber for a business lunch with clients. Food is generally good, except that it is really difficult to figure what we are eating. Service is slow and not very convincing. However, the manager is quite nice and know what he is doing. The environment is a bit noisy and better acoustics is expected.The dessert is the best dish I have on the day.

But food is just OK given the high price and the portion is small （Ｉtried the champagne lunch). Chocolate drinks are nice but desserts are too wet and not rich-flavored. Worthy if you drink a lot of champagne.

有朋自遠方來, 我一早己經book左呢到的brunch, 因為聽聞好好食... 果然係好得環境非常好, 好舒服, 係可以坐低girl chat的好地方服務都好好, 有人細心介紹推介, 而且成日會有人attend你, 絕對有番5 stars的服務食物方面semi-buffet形式, 我地的頭盤要左foie gras同yellow tailfoie gras係paste形式配toast, 個foie gras好香好滑, 我地仲嫌個toast唔夠添yellow tail都係好鮮, 好好食main 我一直以為有beef tartare, 可能個menu轉左, 而家冇左呀!不過我個iron steak都好得, medium rare剛剛好, 好juicy, 份量唔係太大唔會食到好濟, 加上個beef sauce同個肉好配合, very nice!而朋友的haddock一上枱超級香, 食落好滑好鮮, 係勁好食!dessert buffet多chocolate product, 最欣賞當然係文華好出名的chocolate drink, 小小的一杯己經可以為呢一餐黎個happy ending$588+

食評日期：2007年9月9日一直都想寫，但一直都未抽到時間，希望大家不要介意啦！～　^_^嗰日係慶祝小豬J一年一度既大日子，我梗係要隆重其事啦！～　一早已訂好枱食Brunch，訂枱時的服務員聲音很親切啊！～　我本着期待既心情，神秘地帶咗小豬去。總括來講，我覺得呢個Brunch好抵呀！！～　以呢度既環境、服務、食物質素、份量、名氣．．．唔駛數晒都攞爆分呀！～　*0*室內環境優雅舒適；服務員親切有禮；食物包括餐前包包、starter、main course、coffee or tea、free flow of sparkling wine & fruit juice & 約十幾款既dessert Buffet。希望呢餐& 份禮物令小豬難忘啦!~AMBER!~ 我會再去的!!~

Both service and the food are very impressive. Excellent service which is rare these days even in 5 star hotel. A must for chocolate lovers. Will go back for dinner. 個日去左食brunch + dessert buffet..非常非常正order左個champagne set champagne好好味,我個friend話個brand係2個top brand之中既其中一個..我唔係好識..但係真係好好飲..refill左3杯..首先d麵包好好食.有成4,5款.個醋好杰好甜..我個friend話釀左多年先會咁杰.starter 係雞湯.成世人第一次咁飲湯..先上左個湯料.之後個waitress先lor個好似茶壺既容器..係我面前倒d湯落去..雞湯好清甜..重飲到d鮑魚既味....main course係beef tartare.. 係超級好味(而家想起都想再食)..d牛刴到好碎..好有牛味..蔥既份量好好..甜甜地.凍凍地咁..以為自己食緊魚醬...真係一定要試下. 我個friend 就order左d-rump 好嫩..係有牛味..但2碟compare上來個tartare真係高幾倍..不過在場見冇乜人order呢味菜..唔知係唔係怕生既關係呢??? 之後就dessert buffet..d蛋糕就普通d..不過個chocolate mousse就好好味.

Lunch一行三人到Amber,地方唔算太大,但係幾光猛.成個地方都係用銅管做裝飾,幾cool,不過望上頭頂見到一支支管有d驚.Weekday有做set lunch. 坐低叫杯NZ的chardonnay, 之後叫左個3 course set,$450. Starter點左個Yellow tail+tuna, 魚係生的, tuna砌粒, yellow tail砌片, 好鮮味, 加有西瓜粒同小蕃茄, 味道特別又唔會酸.Main course點了Wagyu beef d-rump(澳洲和牛D型臀肉). 我要medium,煎得剛剛好. 切成6片,伴碟仲有醃了的茄子(但味道有點怪). 不可不提佢的side dish,要了mashed potato,非常creamy,一定要點.最後飲埋杯茶,食埋粒mandarin朱古力,又係時候返工啦~

Amber is definitely an exclusive little restaurant. Located on the 7th floor of Landmark Mandarin, the place seats about 10 tables with excellent services and attentiveness from the servers.The 4 of us ordered the oysters, tuna, and salad to share, and the restaurant gave some small plates for us to try.We then had seabass, lamb, and another seafood dish as main course. 之前都聴聞Amber的brunch是食家必去之地, 果然名不虚傳, 様様都係高水準, 高品質的美食。有別於其他地方的brunch, 同lunch/ dinner的食法差唔多, 都係有一個appetizer, main course。至於我最愛的甜品就係buffet形式, 且選択勁多。又有red/ white/ sparkling wine及果汁, 全部任飲, 飯後仲有coffee or tea。我個日同daddy、mammy去, 訂左星期日（5月27日）12：00。走進位於七樓的Amber, 外面有個偏廰巳有不少顧客等候, waiter和waitress逐個招待我地進入餐廰。第一眼見到的Amber真的比想像中細, 以金色作為主調, 有一種富麗堂皇而不帯俗氣的感覚。門口右面的房間似乎是private room, 但當日変成了甜品buffet的小屋。抬頭望上去有好多像金属棒的装飾品, 以幾何圖形排列出来, 極富時代感。唯一美中不足就是只有大廈之間対望的景観。講番D食物, 無論appetizer或者main course, 都係幾揀一, 但有D需要補銭, 請注意。Menu上都明確写出黎。我地
