So today I felt like ramen so I checked on Openrice to see what kind of ramen was ranked the highest. I found quickly that Kanada-ya was at the top and decided to get over to Causeway to try it. The shop is pretty cute and homey and located in the Tang Lung Street where other ramen locations are at.Sit down was easy and fast and I quickly went through the menu and decided to choose the Spicy Tonkotsu and the gyoza. Sit down was easy and fast and I quickly went through the menu and decided to choose the Spicy Tonkotsu and the gyoza.
The ramen arrived pretty quickly and I first had a sip of the broth and WOWOWOOW IT WAS F$$king SPICYYYYYYY. The noodles I got firm and were cooked to perfection so was the egg, corn, and pork as well.
But man I always like drinking the soup because the broth is so good but this one I just couldn’t it was just too damn spicy.
Then came 4 pieces of gyoza which were not bad at all though the meat could have been packed firmer. The skin on the gyoza were fried perfectly.
Overall I would go again but would either try the regular Tonkotsu or their specialty the Truffle Ramen.
