We always hit a home run with Manya's food when we get the chance to receive it. My family and I only go to Manya for their Japanese buffet for a number of reasons (see previous review). Unfortunately, this is the 3rd time to have experienced the following (latest):
1. ~40 mins into service, only 2 dishes arrived,
2. when dishes finally came, there were missing orders/items,
3. extra orders were delivered (which already arrived/repeated orders) and,
4. asking for ''follow ups'' by staff members is already the start of a bad experience
...Watching food being delivered to all the other tables around us though is never a good sign, especially if you were the top 5 to be seated in.
...We tested the kitchen but only ordering 1 of each item and surprisingly, those came first. One. By. One.
...Having a staff explain that the reason for delay was because we put the wrong table number. My response to that is 1) that was my table number, and 2) the staff should check the ticket before giving it to the kitchen. To that staff's defense, she did correct the following tickets in front of us without a clear explanation but she didn't not follow up those first few orders.
...Quite the sensory experience of sight AND smell more so than others. Sorry Manya, that's three strikes so we're outta here.
