If you know me well, you’ll know that Gassan is the only omakase place I keep returning to. This time, I visited again when they were offering a 20% discount on their dinner omakase. As expected, it didn’t disappoint. The meal started with creamy Shirako and the award-winning Nagasaki Karen Oyster, both of which were incredibly delicious and made for a fantastic beginning. They smoked the baby tuna with straw, which gave off a unique aroma, and the texture of the tuna was absolutely marvelous. F

For the sushi section, I tried Aoyagai for the first time. It looked similar to ark shell but was sweeter and, of course, very delicious. The anglerfish liver, decorated with Chinese shumai, was a special touch, maintaining its exceptional flavour.

We had many more dishes, and everything was fantastic. Gassan will undoubtedly remain my favorite omakase spot in HK.
