we came here on saturday around 12pm and was surprised that the place wasn't that full as it was ranked #3 most popular by this website. we ordered a double cheeseburger (without fried egg) and scrambled eggs with corned beef and toast. the burgers were made to order and were served to us in less than 5 minutes. the patty was super hot and full of onions and supposedly other spices but i could only taste the onions. pretty much everyone in the cafe was either eating the hamburger or a fried chicken leg, the signature dishes. as for the corned beef egg mixture it was basically a miss. the eggs were overcooked and the whole plate looked gross. the bread wasn't toasted either and it was kind of cold. at about $15 a head you couldn't really ask for more. there were many other typical cha chan teng items on the menu including instant noodles and chinese stir fry dishes for the non-burger types.
for visitors to hong kong this is a good stop for cheap food and some hong kong nostalgia!
