The Goods: Overall superior quality for fish balls, beef brisket, and broth - nothing special (typical HK style noodle ingredients) but they are well made / balanced. Clean & table not too cramped.
The Bads: The queue - we didn't wait a long time because we were quite early on a weekday, but expect a big queue on weekends. A bit pricey for the category but still not bad, .
Damage: The two of us ordered 2 bowls of noodle (no drinks) and the bill came to HKD104 (no +10% SC), so that's HKD52 per person., add HKD10-20 per person if you want drink (more for snacks).

I live in Shau Kei Wan and my colleagues always tell me to try this shop out, but the queue is usually very long on weekend so I never tried it. I finally have a chance on a leave day which we arrived at the shop at about 12:25pm (lunch time) on Friday. There were only 2 groups before us so we got in quite quickly. However, by the time we finished at about 1pm there were quite a number of people waiting (see photo below). I think the queue moves quickly - our ticket was no. 11 when we got it, and they were calling number 31/32 by the time we exit the shop. That's 20 queues in 30 minutes.

The inside of the shop looks new (recently refitted), and the tables aren't that close to each other so that's a good point (for HK standard). The staffs were ok for a local & famous shop (unlike other famous shops) from my limited interaction, but no shouting or otherwise rude behaviour. 

What we ordered
I intended to order one clear broth and one dark broth (not sure it's called that way, the kind you get with beef), but the one that suppose to be clear still had some beef so it became somethin in the middle. The first one is Four Items Noodle (with broth) (四宝面) at HKD52. It actually has 5 items strictly speaking; wonton, fishcake (in the middle), beef balls, pork balls, and braised beef brisket (and of course with the noodle - I ordered the HK style alkaline egg noodle). of these we like the meat balls the most (all kind). They're clearly freshly made with not so tough texture, and well balanced flavour - although the beef balls have a bit unusual texture (a lot softer). Braised beef is very tender and not salty BUT has less 'beefy' flavour. I still prefer this to Kau Kee in Central though. Wonton is most regular in all these - still good but nothing special, I think they have more sesame oil than other shops which I don't really like. The noodle isn't all that impressive. From what I understand it should have snappy/springy texture (for this type of noodle) and be al-dente. It's a bit overcooked if that's the case. Finally the broth is quite mild for which I quite like (I always drink the broth, that's why), because some shops are very salty. Having said that, it's not that special too (no herby flavour for example) - it's just well balanced.

The second bowl (which suppose to be clear broth for my plan but isn't because it also has beef) is Cuttlefish Balls & Sliced Beef Brisket  (切腩墨丸) at HKD52. I ordered it with flat rice noodle (河粉). I like this combination much better than the first bowl. The cuttlefish balls is very nice - a bit chewy texture (it's cuttlefish!) but not too much. The beef brisket is, again, very tender, doesn't have too much fat and connective tissues (which are usually tough), and still taste like beef. The noodle is miles better than other shops. The texture is a bit more stretchy than others but still quite smooth/soft. It reminds me of the same type of noodle in Thailand (but our version is wider) - so maybe it's my own preference. The broth is again not too salty - less so than the first bowl because as I said it's something in between.

I think overall they're quite standard ingredient list in normal HK noodle shop (albeit not all shops will have all of these combinations). There's nothing fancy  or gimmicky about them but they're pretty well done. Other noodle shops wouldn't cost this much but I'd still pay the price for it. However, I don't like the wait (generally) so it's probably something I would come back on another leave days (if I take leave to stay at home). They also have other HK-style snacks (like sandwich) but I am never a fan of those so I didn't order and will not comment (don't want to provide a biased opinion). I also think drinks at HKD20 is a bit much so I didn't order - we finished our bowl in less than half an hour and just go to a Circle K right across to buy a bottle of milk tea at HKD12 that we both can share (I know, I'm a cheapskate!). 今日收咗工去咗筲箕灣食下一間好出名嘅安利魚蛋粉其實都唔洗點講,住係附近嘅人都識佢個切腩撈麵係好好好食佢嘅切腩,即係清湯腩,肥瘦均衡,食落去又唔會有渣,每一舊都好腍滑,有牛嘅油脂香味。佢個撈麵唔係一般粉麵店佢用秘製醬油同豬油撈,令到平平無奇嘅麵加番以前嘅味道當然佢仲有墨丸同雲吞都好味架,大大粒👍🏻👍🏻

昨天去了安利,吃他們的魚片切腩撈粗麵加一杯凍檸茶,撈面冇鹼水味.不錯,但豉油太多,食完個碗底仲係成堆豉油,片頭同根腩都合格,但最趕客係面果片炸魚皮,完全唔脆,另外,碗面$51,凍檸茶居然賣$21。好搵笨,根本就係呃錢,以後唔會再去。

今日又係行山嘅好日子,出發去搭小巴之前,喺筲箕灣附近搵咗一陣都諗唔到有啲咩好嘢食,朋友話:嚟到筲箕灣點會唔食呢一間粉面店,我抱住一個既來之則安之嘅心態到就係呢間餐廳喺門口等位嘅時候就已經勁多人囉,好彩我哋兩條友等咗三張枱就入到,坐低見到隔離都係食四寶撈麵,我就毫不猶豫跟咗佢,唔使5分鐘嗰碗麵就上桌,啲牛腩好鬼正,雲吞亦都不在話下,裏面嘅蝦真係好彈牙,至於佢嘅撈粗配合埋佢嘅湯真係一流,平時食出邊嘅粉面店好多時候都食完好口渴,今日反而冇呢一種感覺,唔知係咪因為冇落味精啦筲箕灣一個唔錯嘅選擇

切腩撈粗雖為名物,但唔少foodie話切腩肉質鞋、粗麵重鹼水味,於是轉食坑腩米粉
✧Quite a lot of foodies say the sliced beef brisket is tough, and the noodle has a strong taste of edible alkali, I therefore ordered short rib and rice vermicelli.
坑腩果然幾滑,脂肪分佈均勻,重牛肉味,份量多啲就好
✧Short rib is tender, with rich marbling and deep beefy flavor. The portion is a bit small.
魚蛋食到魚味,唔會一味得鹹味,算彈牙
✧Rather bouncy and has a taste of fish. Not too salty.

魚片太薄唔夠咬口
✧Fish cakes are too thin to be chewy.
選用幼身同爽口米粉,比較硬身。有時出面食嘅係粗同軟啲,而我就鍾意安利呢種。
✧I like the thin and rather stiff rice vermicelli. Some may prefer thicker and softer ones.
份量少,我平時胃口好細,食完仲食得落多士
Small portion. I can finish the whole bowl and eat toast.

自己好鍾意魚蛋粉,所以今日黎開筲箕灣就黎試下, 所謂聞名不如見面。叫左個雙拼加紫菜同四寶撈粗。黎到真係嚇親,真係好耐無見過份量咁足既魚蛋粉🤩 四寶撈粗相比之下,仲大碗過佢!份量大不在話下, 味道都好好👍🏻 河粉好滑!明白點解呢間野長期都咁多人排隊咁多人黎😌

✨鮮油奶多厚多士 烘得外脆內軟鮮油冰凍 冷熱交融店家好慷慨放左枝煉奶喺枱度 唔夠可以自己加真係簡單好味又邪惡✨坑腩魚片撈粗上次食過切腩好柴 好似煲湯豬肉所以比多次機會佢 的確比切腩好好多坑腩 帶少少油脂 冇咁乾柴 但仍然都係黐牙魚片 口感彈牙偏實 魚味唔算好濃 好普通撈粗 味道偏濃 麵質幾爽 略偏有少少鹼水味 食物比上次好 但又未去到好好我比較鐘意佢個鮮油奶多環境可以非繁忙時間都算闊落 坐得舒服服務正常 已經比上次好價錢可以 但我仍然覺得係名過於實

上次食過切腩好柴 好似煲湯豬肉
所以比多次機會佢 的確比切腩好好多
坑腩 帶少少油脂 冇咁乾柴 但仍然都係黐牙
魚片 口感彈牙偏實 魚味唔算好濃 好普通
撈粗 味道偏濃 麵質幾爽 略偏有少少鹼水味


食物比上次好 但又未去到好好
我比較鐘意佢個鮮油奶多
環境可以非繁忙時間都算闊落 坐得舒服
服務正常 已經比上次好
價錢可以 但我仍然覺得係名過於實

今日同朋友去完石澳 番到筲箕灣 東大街 突然想食安利 見到仲有時間即刻沖過去。切腩撈粗必食 我個人比較鍾意撈粗多啲 好食好多 朋友叫左撈河 我覺得還好 人人口味唔同 講番個撈粗先 調味岩岩好 切腩都好食 肥瘦均勻 口感好好above average 再叫多左個奶油多 又係必食 焗到好脆 好細心幫你一開二 再加多枝 一枝麥精 好滿足 以前住附近成日都黎食 價錢合理 味道中上 未食過嘅朋友可以一戰 👍🏻 不過提提大家 佢收好早 建議5點半前去食 假日會多啲人排隊 7.6/10
