Basically, I am not a fan of deep fried food but I couldn't help trying this restaurant due to all the good comments I have heard and read. I am really impressed by the quality of food...given the price they charge. I guess they should give us a bigger table to accomodate all the utensils and dishes next time. Alright, I am not going to repeat the things that has been said by other commentators here but I really want to add a "happy face" to applaud this restaurant.
My order of the nite for a party:
Set combo for 2 pax
================
soft shell crab - appetizer
2 oysters
2 pork fillet
1 pork chop
2 giant shrimp
2 bowls of steamed rice
2 bowls of miso soup
1 Asahi beer
1 300ml cold sake
+ a re-order of 2pcs of oyster
I highly recommend the deep fried oyster...$40@ only...should be no complain then!
One last note, I thought the portion of set combo wasn't big enough so we re-order the oyster. However, I was wrong, the whole deep fried experience was a painful one cos it's stuffing. The restaurant should bring the food out dish by dish in order to keep it fresh & hot. After all, it's worth trying...though I don't think I will go back in the next 3 months...I need a break la
