知道最近尖沙咀The One開了一間新酒樓,周末就跟媽媽來個午茶。點心不算太多款,但有其他小食及燒味。點了脆皮碧綠豆腐,因我們之前在八月居吃了一個有鹹蛋王碧綠豆腐,十分美味,所以又試試這兒的。八月居是用菜汁做豆腐,而這裡是放在豆腐上再炸,做法不一樣,但一樣香脆有濃濃豆味。愛心鮑魚糯米雞,真的有愛心,是將冬菇剪成心形,糯米夠棉,軟糯,餡料也切得細細的一粒粒,很精緻,只是味道有點鹹。黑豚肉雪梨果,外脆內軟,外皮甜甜的,餡料美味。黑松露野箘餃,皮薄,松露加野菌很香。像生石榴果,即是潮州粉果,只不過有粉紅色的皮。肉餡切得細細粒,味道不錯。食物質素中上,服務一般,以這個價錢還有其他更好的選擇。

The price range of the restaurant is above average and most of the most basic dish would cost $100+ , while more decent dishes would be costing from $200. Some seafood like lobsters and abalone dishes can cost $400-$600. However, if you know what to pick from the menu, you will find some great treasures! For example, the appetisers are pretty generous in serving size costing mostly under $100 each, while the Roasted Peking Duck is a must order item because it was served in two way for just $488!

We have only ordered an appetiser which is a Taiwanese delicacy duck tongue because I haven't had this dish for a while. There are 18 small pieces of duck tongue without the neck part. It was not spicy because it was house-marinated in its Chinese herby sauce. The tongues are quite soft with a great flavour. Just a great light way to start a meal, it would be even better to go with a glass of chilled beer!

They do have 4 different types of crepes for you to wrap the peking duck but they actually do not have a drastic difference. They are all perfectly thin and chewy enough to wrap a few pieces of ducks in!

After all, I still prefer the most traditional way to enjoy peking duck which is using the original white wraps, hoi sin sauce, with leeks and cucumber slices! The flavour from the fatty duck just exploded and bursted out from the thin crepe, while all the condiments and sauces balanced out a little of the greasiness. Though it was oily, it was not sickening but very addictive instead, you know what I mean when you cannot stop eating peking duck!

We were recommend to have the duck in lettuce wrap as the 2nd dish but we preferred something hot so we have chosen to enjoy it with some bitter melon. We were very surprised with the portion size because usually not the whole rest of the duck would be used to cook the 2nd dish but apparently the restaurant didn't cheat at all!

Tomato wolfberry bean curd sheet soup 
The last dish also gave us surprises because we didnt expect that it would be served like that. Simply a big bowl of soup with big chunks of tomato, some bean curd sheet and some celery that actually gives a really strong grassy taste. Also, the soup is loaded with wolfberry which is very healthy and good for health. Just a very light and hot bowl of basic soup, just perfect during this heavy meaty dinner!

At the end, we were just really impressed with the peking duck, the way the serve it was really out of our expectation. For $488, you can enjoy 2 ways and they are just absolutely delicious. I would say the duck can definitely feed 4 people easily.

I haven't go out for dinner with my family for a long time so tonight I took them somewhere nice. This Chinese restaurant is located in "The one" which was very convenient. It was such a great night as we get to see the beautiful night view of Hong Kong as well as yummy food. While my parents were looking through the menu, I enjoyed the deep fried salty fish and peanut as snack. They were so crunchy so I couldn't take my mouth off them. After awhile, our starter came; it was presented so nice. The spicy jellyfish was presented on a spoon, it was chewy and tasty. The roasted pig piece was the highlight of this dish, it was presented like a sandwich. Underneath the pig piece, there was a thick layer of shrimp mixture; it was so yummy. The both layer tasted very good together; with the combination of cucumber, cheese and toast, the whole thing tasted amazing! This was something very new to me, I had never tasted anything like this before. 👍

Next, we had scallop; this one was cooked in a Japanese style. The scallop was pan- fried with lots of onions and Japanese sauce. The scallop was fresh and soft. I really like the onion because they were soft and full of flavour.

I was amazed with the presentation of the fish! They were presented on a mini dim sum container each. They looked mouthwatering and they did taste very good. This was one of my favourite as it was gingerly as well as sweet and sour. I really like the flavour as there were three different taste at the same time! The fish was smooth and soft. I like this dish very much!

My favourite rib came next, it was presented beautifully as well. This slow cooked beef rib smelled so nice when it arrived, the texture was unbelievably soft! The rib was tender and full of flavour! Even the sauce was very meaty!

How can we have a dinner without veggie? We ordered the mixed veggies with mixed seafood. It looked good and there were a wide range of veggies in the dish. There were lots of my favourite asparagus, they were crunchy and tasty. The mushroom was soft and easy to chew. I like the seafood sauce they use which made this dish very yummy.

另一細心位就係用靚靚裝起個烏冬,而不是平時食店用既背心袋,話曬係呢個尖沙咀區拎住背心袋真係有D奇怪,呢個細心位不錯,要讚下。

女孩子們的甜品結尾又要養生,又要特別,又要好味。選擇左昆崙雪菊燉葛仙米.....個名好長,如果不是影低真係忘記了,好特別既野,因為又係咁大個人未食過既野,一粒粒,又不似糯米,又不似魚子feel, 不懂形容,好潤好arm而家呢個天氣食。

主菜我點了這個王牌很受歡迎的日本紫薯淮山會龍蝦,價格是$298.1隻,本來預期這隻龍蝦會比較細隻,想不到上到台的時候10分大,肉亦都很多質感彈牙鮮味!分量十足。但食食吓才發現為何唔見左兩隻龍蝦鉗?

還有另外一個王牌推介美食西式慢煮牛肋骨,這個是我計上次去川𤋮樓吃美味的牛肋骨之後。另外一個強烈推薦的!

我開始質疑,莫非現在的牛肋骨都是中餐的做得好吃?這個西式煮牛肋骨,十分之軟淋,而且牛味十足。旭通脂肪的分布比例也很平均!味道剛剛,而且你不會太油!絕對是水準之作。怪得不他也成為這裏的招牌菜啊!

最後還有這一個幹鍋醬蝦炒稻庭烏冬。在這個名字上,我想不到原來他是用川辣的做法煮。川辣的味道和到庭烏冬十分夾,到庭烏冬俾一半烏冬彈牙,而且又細,能夠抓得住更多的醬味,這個煮食我會給滿分。辣到剛好嘢味十足,炒得也挺有鑊氣!很正。

題外話覺得他們應該要在餐牌上寫清楚這個是川炒,否則單單看名字未必會吸引啊!

甜品方面點了楊枝甘露,因為太好食的關係沒有影相。。。濃郁的芒果香味配上柚子和西米等等!很好吃!
