位於大圍的新強記,最出名的就是燒乳鴿和雞粥,所以我們一定會叫這兩款食物。這間酒樓已開業多年,酒樓內有一幅桂林山水的風景畫,點心種類多,而且大件。我們約11時半落單,但等了半小時才有點心,傳菜員說要慢工出細貨,我們叫了香蔥煎薄餅,和煎苧絲,薄餅煎得剛剛好,入口香脆,煎苧絲一點不油膩。接著便是乳鴿,它燒得不過火,皮脆肉嫩多汁,即使一人一隻也可以吃掉,雞粥我們是叫例牌的,但也有一大湯碗,我們四人平均每人可以吃到兩碗多,而且雞肉多,鹹菜胡椒豬肚湯是一個鍋,內有很多腐竹,湯味濃郁,豬肚稔,每人也吃到兩碗,我們還吃了韮菜豬紅和燒腩仔,也很好味,不會太鹹。這一餐我們全吃清光,而且非常滿足,還笑說可以再約在此吃晚飯。

小菜有菠蘿咕嚕雞球。 老伴和我一致認同, 呢個係好食嘅咕嚕雞。首先係份量十足,而且即炒好有鑊氣。 冇骨嘅雞球好容易入 ,估計用雞扒起肉, 所以食落好滑。
最重要係冇雪藏味! 咕嚕汁酸酸甜甜好開胃,出色!

火車經過大圍成日見到樓下新強記 大紅燈籠高高掛的門口,一直都想試下。今晚終於約咗朋友嚟食晚飯。其實都幾近車站,都幾方便。一入去,阿姐就好好招呼,係親切的招待,第一印象良好。我哋揀咗2人餐有例牌燒鵝兩隻乳鴿招牌雞粥兩個小菜唔知係咪好耐冇食燒鵝,我覺得呢度燒鵝好好味!肉質嫩滑,夠入味但唔會過鹹,唯一係個皮雖然好香,但唔算好脆。話朋友鍾意佢嘅乳鴿,即刻炸起好新鮮,肉質都唔錯,唔會乾柴。招牌雞粥好夠味呀! 好多料,雞肉好滑,呢樣真係唔係間間可以做得到,果然名不虛傳。 不過,由於有其他餸菜,兩個人食一碗例牌,都真係比較多。而且食得多會覺得有點鹹,下次可能會請一位嘅份量就算啦。椒鹽鮮魷呢間既做法同我想像有點出入, 不過都ok好食咕嚕雞球看雞球嘅形狀以為不好吃,點知出乎意料咁好食。雞塊帶一點脆皮,好處係咬落有脆口,又不會過厚,又食到啖啖肉。個汁都調配得好好,酸甜平衡度做得非常出色。整體嚟講,呢一餐好滿意。

招牌雞粥好夠味呀! 好多料,雞肉好滑,呢樣真係唔係間間可以做得到,果然名不虛傳。 不過,由於有其他餸菜,兩個人食一碗例牌,都真係比較多。而且食得多會覺得有點鹹,下次可能會請一位嘅份量就算啦。

咕嚕雞球
看雞球嘅形狀以為不好吃,點知出乎意料咁好食。雞塊帶一點脆皮,好處係咬落有脆口,又不會過厚,又食到啖啖肉。個汁都調配得好好,酸甜平衡度做得非常出色。


整體嚟講,呢一餐好滿意。

沙田大圍的新強記,坐火車時都會都見到,招牌非常觸目,所以今日來到沙田,就專程到來食 。餐廳一整個大廳都好寬敞舒適,門口見到一片紅的燈籠,好有氣氛。椒鹽海中蝦$138 海中蝦經輕走油,近蝦尾的位置炸到連殼都帶點脆,去殼後啖啖肉,很鮮味,配上椒鹽及蒜粒,香香辣辣,更為惹味!鹵水鵝掌翼 $58 鹵水鵝掌翼份量都算多,鵝掌翼味道帶點甜,夠腍又夠滑的。金牌燒乳鴿$58沙田乳鴿最出名,當然會要個乳鴿,乳鴿外表炸到啡金色,肉質嫩滑多汁,真的很香口。食完後,餐廳還送上海帶綠豆糖沙甜品,頗大碗,綠豆軟綿很香,不會太甜,食完煎炸餸,配這個海帶綠豆沙甜品真是絕配。
