雜菜沙律 - D 菜好新鮮,而且洗得好乾淨,又冇爛葉,好唔錯~再加上少少沙律醋,令人開胃

冬陰公奶湯(見圖) - 由於本人的英文真係太屎~所以只係識得個SOUP..所以唔知佢係乜SOUP就叫左黎試
個SOUP黎到,睇落以為係一般的忌廉湯,但一飲落去真係令人意外!原來係有重奶味的冬陰公湯~!!
帶有青檸,香茅味道,唔食唔知可以咁好飲, 但如果佢奶味輕返少少會便吸引我

7 成熟西冷 - 肉質好豐富,唔肥又唔靭,而且燒得啱啱好! 呢個價錢中的水準之作~!

最令人興奮既係一落單就會有一個好巨型既自家製面包~面包外脆內軟,相信係用左粗面粉黎整,食落好有口感!
而且上枱時仲有點微溫,好好味~!連同自己製又香又滑的牛油,融喺面包入面,真係唔食都飽~
咁啱當中我超勁肚餓~所以輕鬆地處理左~!

食品上美中不足既地方,就係餐飲只係一般的咖啡或茶...稍有特色既咖啡差唔多要加原價先可以轉
確係令人有少少失望

第三站本是Robata Zawazawa,人太多某人說試這個,好,既然來了就試吧!未進門就聽到一個男子大聲道"This is the worst event ever"聽說是待者拒絕take orders?????我們也給安排了位子,知道要等耐一點,不要緊,畢竟人真的很多!如常各點了一份,沒有了舌拿魚要改用三文魚,也不要緊,好吃就是好吃,改一點食材是可以接受的等了個15分鐘,來了.....同樣點了各一份,來了一件sesame salmon,一件鵝肝鴨胸,很不幸,sesame我只吃到腥味,是放得太久了才上桌吧,一點都不好吃,可說是難吃吧,至於鵝肝鴨胸,因為夠肥美,其實也很香的,不過整體就很失望,價錢算起來也一點都不合理,故應該不會再到這個地方了吧!

5/12在Casa Lisboa離開後,兩口子來了Wooloomooloo繼續作戰。之前來Wooloomooloo(其他分店)媽媽都是吃牛扒(次要)還有甜品(重點!!)為主,飲酒則還是第一次,見到場內大量的高身椅,果然是酒吧風格。 當日與白酒相配的一口吞拿魚(2 tokens)沒貨啦,真可惜,兩口子只要了香煎鴨胸配鵝肝配紅酒(4 tokens)。本來,媽媽喜白討厭紅,然而這杯Twinwoods Cabernet Sauvignon 2009卻難得令媽媽也折服! 媽媽的紅酒詞彙很有限,只可以說它的味道很醇,柔滑,一點不澀,很好飲!往往食物才是重點,但這天同上的小食反而被比下去了。其實,鴨胸肉質挺鮮美的,點上橄欖油也豐富了其口味,不過配的鵝肝真是超孤寒,始終是定價較高的項目(4個tokens折換現金是$100了!),真有點令人不爽。還有兩口子在這裡巧遇碩爸碩媽,不用照顧寶寶真是開心啊! 飲完酒,又往下一站出發。

Two of us had to work on the Easter Friday, we didn’t know what to eat so we walked around LKF for clues.Finally we decided to come to this as it was raining outside, the restaurant was almost empty at lunch time, actually the LKF area was quiet on this special Friday.They had this brunch menu but not too many choices. The big bread was warm and crusty outside, soft inside.

The pizza actually was quite small and nearly the same price as the steak.


A thumb up for the brunch meal as it included coffee or tea.

Its been awhile, but I finally have some time to write this review.


If you have been to the USA, maybe you ll know about the infamous dineLA ( LOS ANGELES) and NYC Restaurant week.
Famous restaurants like Gordon Ramsay at the London , Ruth's Chris Steak House, Morton's the Steakhouse,The Bazaar ... All those fine-dining restaurants -- they are expensive ! But, because of the existence of restaurant weeks, we can try them out at affordable prices.

This year, my friends and I found out that there would be Restaurant Week in Hong Kong. We are so excited. That's why we reserved a table at the Wooloomooloo Steahouse at LKF.

Coz we made a reservation, so we didnt spend time waiting for a table.

The lamb chops were served medium-well. The dish was served with white cabbage, potato Cake with lamb gravy.
The texture of lamb chops was juicy and soft/ pink inside. I especially like the potato cake. Its soft inside with the crunchy texture outside.

I didnt know how the steak taste like. But from the look of the dish, it looked like its juicy and quite heavy in taste. With some pieces of mushrooms on the steak, i think it gives the steak a balanced taste.

The Apple Crumble was excellent !! The vanilla gelato was enough that I didnt need the extra custard sauce. The apple crumble was served in warm temperature, so that it melted parts of the gelato.....With that semi- melting gelato, its so yummy that you cant resist. ! The crumble was crispy with soft baked pieces of apples. I just wanna go back and have this again !!

My friend tried the Chocolate Dessert! haha i didnt know how it tastes like. ...But, took a photo of it !

We went for celebrating work promotions and this place has a good atmosphere for just that. Lunch had 2 courses which were all good. Had the stuffed duck which was 4 or 5 pieces of duck breast rolled with a stuffing in the middle with was very good. We also had a chicken course and fish which were all good. Dessert was a crepe-like with apples and raisins which was fantastic. Good value for a weekday lunch. Request to be seated upstairs as it has the better seating.

服務如何呢?4 個字 - 黑面、抽離。同行想知道餐牌上個 Gratin Veal Escalope with Parma Ham and Gruyere Cheese seved with Ratatouille 点整,問問waitress,她一副不耐煩的樣子話係 baby cow。可惡, holy cow! 我知什麼是 veal,只想知 how is the veal made? 最後得到的答案是 pan fried,完全冇對個客講解個菜的其他資料 ,還好 menu 上 gratin, cheese, veal, parma ham 等字還是認識的,算了吧!但印象就大打折扣了

主菜方面選了兩款:
Gratin Veal Escalope with Parma Ham and Gruyere Cheese served with Ratatouille
菜名夠晒長,重有好幾個字不懂 - escalope, Gruyere, ratatouille,waitress 亦冇意講解,但從 gratin, veal, cheese, parma ham 幾個熟「朋友」大概都知是什麼,其實是幾片槌鬆了的煎牛仔肉,配上 parma ham, ham 上有焗得焦香的一片芝士,served on a bed of 雜菜粒,escalope 就是 thin slices flattened by mallet or rolling pin 的做法,Gruyere cheese 是 a kind of hard cheese from a town called Gruyere in 瑞士,ratatouille 就是 tossed mixeed vegetable 的意思,又學到嘢了

個菜嘅 presentation 麻麻,veal 只得小小的幾片,煎得不夠香,亦較淡口,2 片 parma ham 只有一片是有browned cheese crust, 而個 ratatouille 就像自己在 supermarket 買的 frozen 雜菜,失望

結尾的 coffee 倒是 ok, 但同行問可否轉 latte 得到的答案是 崛崛的 not included, 其實同是一句話,如果可以禮貌地說 「對不起,set lunch 只包 regular coffee,可以加少少 $,轉 latte 」,客人會舒服 D,自己亦不見得有餂底,可樂而不為呢?華哥話齋:「今時今日咁嘅服務態度点得架 !」
失望,短期內不會 encore 了,但會 ,monitor OR 的食評,待有改善再幫襯!

今天, 走到蘭桂芳食下午飯, 經過呢間餐廳門口睇睇餐牌, 覺得個set lunch 唔算貴, 就入去試一試, 叫咗一個set lunch : (New Zealand Beef Tender Loin). 他們先上了Appetizers, 一份很有份量的香草牛油餐包, 再來一個羊奶乳酪salad with parma ham. 這兩個頭盤都感覺好正, 完畢後, 再來了個 main course , 放下槕上, 其擺設已經吸引到我晒留口水了, 牛肉我order了5乘熟, 小試一口, 其牛肉味應真是鮮味無窮, 好有牛肉的味道同埋好嫩滑的感覺. 再餐棹上, 我没有採用任何配料調味, 因為我想食出這裡厨師自己想煮出來的味道, 果然真是正! 正! 正!因為是working day 的關係, 所以都只是收 HK $148.00 一個 Set lunch. 平時我諗唔只呢個數呀.不過如果再可以平D就最好啦!

Nice dinner, good service, but otherwise ruined by one very very bad oyster for the birthday boy. The lack of any attempt to try to invite us back with small gestures of gratuity, however small is dissapointing. Nice dinner, good service, but otherwise ruined by one very very bad oyster for the birthday boy.
The lack of any attempt to try to invite us back with small gestures of gratuity, however small is dissapointing. Need to polish up their after sales / PR efforts if they like to associate themselves with any restaurants down under.

Came here last September with the same group of friends and had a notably nice lunch. Attentive service, superb steak, reasonable cost. After last Tuesday have to admit this time we would have been better served by going to McDonalds.Showed up 10 minutes early for our reservation and were obviously putting everybody out by asking to get our seats in an empty restaurant. Showed up 10 minutes early for our reservation and were obviously putting everybody out by asking to get our seats in an empty restaurant. Then sneakily pushed two $55 bottles of water (made to seem complimentary). House beer was flat, sweet and generally cruddy ($70), steak was a gristly slab, but at least cooked to our request. Bill placed on table before we asked, then we had a protracted discussion with the apparent manager as to whether we would get our (included) set-lunch coffee at the end.
Change of management? Bad day?
A joyless mess.

After the disappointing drinks and Shisha at Sahara we further moved to the bar inside Wooloomooloo. My friends had beer while me and another friend of mine ordered some Champagne cocktails. Really liked my Flirtini btw - it was sweet and easy to drink, with cubes of strawberries as well as puree mixed with the magical Champagne. Second drink was rose wine - more sweet and less bold than the red wine i usually drink. And special thanks to the helpful waitresses in constantly refilling the nuts f

Really liked my Flirtini btw - it was sweet and easy to drink, with cubes of strawberries as well as puree mixed with the magical Champagne.

Second drink was rose wine - more sweet and less bold than the red wine i usually drink.


And special thanks to the helpful waitresses in constantly refilling the nuts for us - we chewed four rounds of nuts as we chatted and drank i think...

The cheese platter and other bar snacks look pretty tempting to me and i bet that i will return sooner or later with an empty stomach.

Great ambiance as well, except for the music which had been turned louder and louder. It was almost impossible to talk but to shout towards the end of our stay.

For main course, I had the sole fillet, which was very disappointing. The texture of the fish was a bit chewy, but there was absolutely no taste, meaning I could neither taste the fish nor the salt.

I had expected the bread to taste good as it did look attractive online, but I could neither taste the sweetness (as it was supposed to be honey glazed) nor taste of bread.

All in all, I thought I was being served airplane food!! Oh wait, on second thought, airplane food was actually better!

This is my preferred place of drinks after a long day at work in the office. Staff are very polite and courteous, greeting you warmly when you walk in. One of the staff always says "Welcome back madam". I usually come down with three of my colleagues, and try to get in for drinks in their Happy Hour (HH) times from 6-9pm. This is topped with fruits and cream. I must admit I have a penchant for sweet food, and this usually does the trick!

The two combined comes to a total of about $120, which some people might find expensive?

With a friend visiting from LA a bunch of us decided to visit Wooloomooloo in LKF for some steak. The place was half full so we were given attentive service (actually a little too attentive). The waiter asked us for our drinks order and seemed to be really pushing their mineral and distilled water - even though a few of us just wanted plain old tap water. Although when we did ask for tap water they did serve it on ice. Service was quick and accurate with all of us getting our ordered steaks.

Food - The bread to start was nice and hot, soft inside - quite excellent. I had a seasoned rib-eye which was very tasty and just a little fat on it which was good. The medium cooking level was actually medium. My friends also ordered steak - a regular rib-eye, a sirloin and a couple of filet mignons. No complaints from the bunch so I would give the steaks two thumbs up. We also order some sides - mushroom, fries, onion rings, spinich and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was ok but not as firm and plump as I would have liked. I wished they served the cocktail sauce in a bigger container though as it was hard to dip the shrimp in - or they could have provided a small serving spoon to get at it. Of the rest of the sides, I liked the spinich the best, Nice and creamy texture and fresh tasting.

Deserts - We ordered some of the apple crumble, bread and butter pudding and gelato. Generally satisfied with all.

Drink - we just had a couple bottles of wine - nothing too out of the ordinary. We didn't try any of the other drinks on the menu so no comment.

Atmosphere - the place was pretty quiet with lots of space between tables so private conversations are possible. We did not feel rushed befitting a restaurant at this level of price.

Generally a very positive experience and we definitely recommed it again.
