After trying the one in TST, I have to try the same at Central. Today got a class at 7pm and lots of seats are available when I get there at 6:30pm on a weekday.

赤丸新味 – hmm…when it served, part of the soup is in black which is the garlic favour.
The pork piece is actually quite tiny, the taste is not strong. I like the original ramen more.Poached egg – actually I wanted to order the half boiled egg but…I asked for the poached by mistake, but anyway, it is a nice poached egg.

Good and speedy services provided.

I was actually started to think what to eat after yoga during the class....and couldn't think of anything better than a salad.

It was raining and I was quickly arrived at the restaurant, only 2 tables were occupied at 7:30pm. This restaurant is one of my favorite for brunch on Sunday and also a nice choice for a quiet dinner.

I ordered the 尼斯 salad as usual - luv the mustard dressing and the portion is usual big, the salad are fresh. I have been here many times for lunch, brunch and dinner, the services they provided are not best but still acceptable.

For the restaurant week, I and my colleague had lunch at 12:15pm, when we got there, only 2-3 tables were occupied.

The waitress gave us a restaurant week menu (HKD238) and a normal lunch menu (HKD98 for 2 courses), I compared the starters and the main courses, the starters are exactly the same, only the main that they have an item in difference, the restaurant week's one included a dessert which I can order the same on a normal menu for extra HKD40. , so the difference is only tea & coffee not included in the normal one. At the end, we chose the normal menu which saved us HKD100 each even we added a dessert.

We had some bread and when we asked for olive oil and vinegar, it did took a while for the waitress to get.

The starter was very fresh(with mango....)

Pan roasted chicken leg with corns n rockets - the chicken was actually quite juicy, the corn at the bottom was nicely cooked .

Tiramisu was pretty good, not too much alcohol favour which I personally not like.The lunch set is worth for try and we should be coming back sometimes.

After cutting my hair at Harbour City, I was wondering around for lunch, and remembered there was this ramen I wanted to try for a while, at 1:50pm, I was seated inside without any waiting.

And it was getting quite empty after lunch time. 白丸元味 – medium softness for the noodles, I personally like this kind of thin noodles more than those one like “doll noodles”, the soup is very porky and I found it acceptable on the salty level. I must say, it was few of the good noodles I came across with in Hong Kong.
2 slices of pork are soft, half fatty, but a bit of porky smell

溫泉蛋 – just the right texture inside the egg, can taste the egg flavour, very creamy

明太子雞翼 – 2 pieces, very crispy on the skin, the fish egg is a bit spicy inside the wing, not bad with the price of $32 Service is pretty good, waiter/waitress are patient with questions.

Fast service - my order was served after few minutes.

Will definitely visit again in Central branch when I have time.

Arranged a meet up with my ex-colleague for dinner, and was searching for a restaurant for the night. Saw this new restaurant on openrice and the location is just perfect for both of us.

It was raining on that day and we got there around 6:45pm. Might be still early, we were the first table there and it started to fill up later on. I like the style of the open doors, assume it could be open to make a more HEA atmosphere on a nice weather day. And the big lamp in the middle of the roof. just luv it.

We were seated near the door and started searching at the menu.

Onion soup - with a toasted bread, matched perfectly with the soup, nice taste, surpirse it was only $38 which definately cost more elsewhere

Nachos - when the waiter put the plate down, i was surprised by the size of it. could share with more ppl,, no problem. very crispy and taste just right with the sour cream and the meat sauce on top, again $48 only

Grill rib eye steak - medium rare, nicely cooked, beefy, tender and juicy came with some veggie

Grill lamp chop - 3 pieces of lamp, again nicely cooked came with some veggie, soft and juicy

We were there catching up till 10pm, during the time our water was filled quickly.

I must say I and my friend had a very pleasent time there. I am sure it would be more romatic if i was with a guy

The quality of food and the service they provided, will come again with my husband.

As we haven’t met up for a while, we decided to have a gathering and one of the girls picked this restaurant.

The restaurant is located at LKF, pretty easy to find. When I got there, found that the interior in the restaurant is quite modern, fusion with Japanese and western style.

We were leaded to a part of the restaurant and set down; we found that the whole place is into different rooms, probably due to the available space on one floor.

I ordered the beef sukiyaki lunch set. Taste was ok with no surprise, normal portion - Standard quality with this sort of price at CentralProbably won't come again if I fancy Japanese for lunch, have better choice.

Note: the place is a bit noisy, when we tried to talked, we had to listen hard.

Sister was back from UK on her routine fly, she really likes Chinese food so we visited the Square again.

We haven’t been here since it was refurbished, the area is now more open and tables are put closer to each other. Surprisingly it was almost full on a Monday nite, lucky that we have made a reservation earlier on.

We ordered the usual dishes.

Soup – I am not a soup person but do like their soup which served individually - you could tell it has been cooked or boiled for at least few hours from the deep taste of the soup.

Steamed fish – always right in steaming times, the fish was just cooked, soy sauce tasty, can always have more rice with this fish soy sauce

Char Siu/Duck – we asked for fatty Char Si, it was soft, juicy

Crispy vinegar pork – pork crispy and the sauce taste good

Garlic veggie - not too cooked, still a bit crunchyThe Square is always a decent place for Cantonese food, wouldn't be disappointed with their food.

Arranged a dinner with Fish, she picked this restaurant out of 3. I had been here 2 years ago to celebrated my husband birthday at that time.

We were seated at the table near the center as I didn’t ask for a table on the side which would be more comfy seating on the sofa.As I already knew the portion of the beef is quite huge even to a big eater like me, so this time we both ordered the California cut (the smallest in size) which came with mashed potato, salad an Yorkshire pudding.

The Lawry beef is in medium rare, tender, juicy, soft, and beefy.For starter we had lobster bisque with the bread - taste ok

Dessert – chocolate soufflé - very chocolate and light

Warm chocolate fantasy cake with Vanilla Gelato - love the moist of the cake...

Two of us had to work on the Easter Friday, we didn’t know what to eat so we walked around LKF for clues.

Finally we decided to come to this as it was raining outside, the restaurant was almost empty at lunch time, actually the LKF area was quiet on this special Friday.

They had this brunch menu but not too many choices. We order a 9 inches pizza + the steak.

We asked for medium rare on the steak and surprisingly it was actually cooked to medium rare n very juicy. It was nicely presented with 2 types of veggie on the plate.

The big bread was warm and crusty outside, soft inside.

The pizza actually was quite small and nearly the same price as the steak.

A thumb up for the brunch meal as it included coffee or tea.

After watching a film at City Plaza, we were looking for food and I kind of fancy Japanese noodles on the day, and my husband reminded me we could try 亮亭.

We got there like 9:35pm and luckily they were still open.

Ordered a 豚骨醬油拉麵 less salt, 福岡拉麵, fried soft shell crab and chicken soft bones.

豚骨醬油拉麵 – lots of sesame, half egg, 2 slices of pork, the noodle was quite chewy, the soup was acceptable but personally I can probably try the original favour.The other dishes were nice too.

But when around 9:50pm, the waitress came and asked us for the bill, they started to put the chairs on the tables, 9:55pm, they turn off the kitchen lights and given us a signal that they were ready to leave sharp at 10pm (they close at 10pm), but come on, we were still having our food and we sensed that they were rushing us to go.

Even though your food is ok with reasonable price, a service like this is a No No.
