Since it has been awhile i have dim sum, I decided to have a light dim sum with my wife. We were shopping around Causeway Bay and we decided to dine at The Graces restaurant. I have tried their food at the other outlet at Kwun Tong and was fairly satisfied. When we reached slightly at 1pm, it was already almost full. Besides the typical dim sum selection, they have chef recommendation, monthly special and guangdong dishes as well.
Hor Fun with honey glazed BBQ pork - Some of their food items were having lunch promotion and the price was really reasonable. BBQ pork was served in a separate plate from the hor fun soup. Hor fun was smooth, easily sipping up to my mouth. BBQ pork was marinated with honey and was juicy and tasty, tender and chewy with slight fat in it.
Siu Mai - The size of siu mai was considered huge, with crab roes on top of it. The ingredients were fresh, with pork and prawns in it. It was chewy, but was slightly hard though.
Deep fried glutinous rice ball - I particularly liked this desserts. It was deep fried till big and round. It was crispy outside, yet when i took a bite, it was easily chewed off. Black sesame taste was strong and hot.
